Hey Hey Miss Heath-Bar! You are a wonderful beautiful creation of God, and a friend indeed! All that you have been thru is not about who is at fault anymore I hope, but whom you now follow because of it. You have a special place in my heart because I have spent time praying you onward and upward in Christ Jesus thru all walls He has taken you thru! :) Smile.

I know we have had great conversations and yet at times the Word in those moments felt like a grind. Know I am only a brother in Christ that wants the Lord's Best for you always!

"You shall be holy for I am holy.." (1 Peter 1:16).

I pray you are continuing on to the road of holiness, God is still there with you as you live faithfully in Him and toward Him. Holiness means untarnished talking with the tongue, untarnished thinking with the mind - every detail of the life under the scrutiny of God. I have learned in my life that holiness is not only what God gives me, but what I manifest that God has given me.To grasp that which He has first grasped in me in Love!

One thing we have discussed and discovered together in our friendship is that neither you nor I can do anything in this life gig alone with friends. We both need to die to the right to ourselves and become totally dependent on God. This is when the burn of growing up happens for us all, but when the presence of God and His power starts to change us miraculously we are set free and we become thankful beyond measure! My prayer is that you have the fullness of Christ Jesus! And nothing short of it! ... God's speed Sista!

Be patient with God and yourself; the Spirit is the first power we practically experience but the last power we understand, and to that end we should gather together and encourage one another, and all the more so as we see the day approaching! It brings joy to my heart to have you back, :)... May God richly Bless you in every turn and in every way! I claim the promise for you that in all things, for those who love God, it will turn out good! See ya in the Hallways!

You know I have been thru a divorce as well, and I have complete empathy for the plight of that experience, and my compassion for you is vividly real, but, suffice it to say, my message in hopefulness is not in solace alone, but in hope for prosperity and a future. I wanted to add this to my last post to let you know I feel for you personally in the pain this leaves you, and I will continue to pray for God to be your refuge, was well as the fellowship of those who are your family in Christ.

(Romans 12:2-3): ...New American Standard Bible (NASB)

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

It is ALWAYS good (and commanded of us) to stand for Biblical truth, but sometimes it's better to PM a person who is in error rather than calling him or her out on a public forum. Of course, it depends on how that person introduces his/her situation.

In the OP's case, I think she should have been "taken aside" so to speak, and advised on how she should seek the Lord's direction and correction.

It is the same Jesus who told the adulterous woman to "neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" and who drove the moneychangers out of the temple with a whip of cords. He knew exactly how to respond to each situation He placed Himself in.

In any case, welcome back Roxy! Not sure if you were here when I first joined 2 1/2 years ago.....:D

I was here! I joined in March of 2015! :) :)
