The wearing out of the saints is one of satan's favorite tactics. So often we not only allow him to get by with it, we assist him in wearing ourselves out, by not taking care of ourselves and failing to surrender all things to the Lord. I am not pointing fingers. I'm in that number as well.

I will be praying for all who have posted here, myself included, that God will do a tremendous work in our lives, that His joy and peace would reign in our lives, that we would take better care of ourselves, and that the things satan has devoured in our lives be restored abundantly. God did it for Job. He loves his children and is willing to do no less for us.

I hope you find CC a place of rest and freedom to share what troubles you.

If we get more into God, we will be less into things that 'tire' us :)

The words of our Savior, from Matthew 11:

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I think that the Lord gives us rest more often than re realize. Our problem (at least, mine) is that we worry, spend too much time with the TV, computer, and other things that busy us up to the point that we do not hear His still, small voice.

Lord,
help me to realize when I take on too much, when I do not manage my time well, and when I get overcome with worry and the fatigue that can come from life, so that I can stop myself and focus on You. Let me hear Your Voice when you call me to You. Help me accept the rest and other blessings that you have given me, without letting my worry or pride get in the way. I am praying this for the others who have posted here as well. Amen.

Normally I'd be all over posting like this... right now though I'm thinking it's better not to do it.
I want to complain right now to someone about so many things.

=(

Great timing for this thread, I was just thinking about this earlier.

I'm tired of other Christians pushing me away/keeping me at arm's length because they find me awkward and have better things to do than look past the surface and get to know me.
I'm tired of other Christians who misunderstand me and treat me badly because they're either too "nice" or too lazy to ask me for clarification.

After dealing with it for years on end, I've had it.

I'm tired of being sick.... I'm tired of seeming like an outcast even in church.... I'm tired of feeling like I have no one to talk to.... I'm tired of being alone.....I'm tired of feeling like I wanna cry out to someone, anyone, but not knowing who. I'm tired of being insecure.... I'm tired of my job... I'm tired of playing games to pretend like nothings going on... I'm tired of trying so hard to look okay.... I'm tired of seclusion and isolation, I'm tired of talking to myself.... I'm tired of winning arguments that I set up for myself.... I'm tired... I'm just tired *grumpy/sad face*

I'm tired of the incompetence of the U.S. government and their inability to end the shutdown so close to the default date. But lets not get into that.

I'm sorry, I remember being around your age and going through a depression. I did get help for it. Also with age I just don't try as hard as I used to, to fit in. If it helps many young people feel like they don't fit in. I guess it's part of being comfortable with yourself. It's not always easy to do that. I would talk to a professional about how you feel and go from there. God Bless you.

Just as a thought, love is ruthfull. Its cause of love we people are in deep depravity and dispare. Love isnt something we can hold accountable, it at times even acts as if it really isn't there.

Tired of seeing the same threads and same questions and some complaints on CC.

Tired of seeing Christians use lame cliches and cheesy psuedo-spiritual one liners to think they will solve peoples problems. Life problems can't be solved by using bumper sticker theology.
