I understand what your saying...but I think its healthy for men to discuss these matters and to be able to learn from other men..from a mans perspective. I cant stop a woman from posting on this thread ....I just thought it might be entertaining to them to hear how guys think...without telling them how they should think :)
Yes it is.... and for those who have misplaced their copy of The Wisdom of Men, or are young, and haven't gotten theirs yet, this is a good thing.

All I am suggesting is that we keep our egos in check, and consider some basics before we open our mouths.

I think an important thing to remember is that you are not "leading" a woman. You are simply responsible for the general direction of the family unit, as a whole.

Kinda sounds like the same thing?

Doesn't being responsible and leading fall hand in hand, though. Adam was responsible, so wasn't he the leader? If something bad happens in a business, isn't the one leading it ultimately responsible?

A woman will always be with a man who knows who He truly is and truly knows where He is going.

Not necessarily. Look at Obama.

I think that would actually prove my point because this country has became even more of a disappointment (to say the least) under his leadership.

Remember Guys, being "technically" responsible, and assuming responsibility are two different things.

And, does he accept any responsibility for that?

A good leader would get out in front, and pull......... not stand back and give orders, or complain about "what he feels she is doing wrong."

Willie...don't be like that...I don't see anyone else promoting that kind of behavior. This is part of the problem in this discussion is that the assumption always seems to be that men are always in a place of being ungodly in some way. I don't know about the men you are or know...but the men I know are not a bunch of ignorant baboons....

This is going to sound cheesy...but based on my past relationships women want to be treated with love and respect like the beautiful delicate flower (don't mean inferior all you feminists out there ! ) that they are. They want to be told they're beautiful with and without makeup they want to have someone to listen to them not always give an opinion or suggestion but just listen they want a friend. An honest man! Oh and sushi and chocolate all women want sushi and chocolate :) I had to take a sharp right turn there hahahaha but really though that's what I believe

Now this is helpful...and I made the mistake of asking my girlfriend to put on some make-up one day to meet some folks that I worked with...you would have thought I had cheated on her, she was so hurt? She even told my mom and my mom (who always defends me) scolded me :(

Oh that's a very sad answer (you must be married) :( ...and I think its safe to make some generalized statements on the subject.
Actually I've never been married. I've just gotten to know women rather than try to apply labels to them. So I've learned things about these individuals.
And what generalizations can you apply to all women on the subject? Will be interesting to see if all women here agree.
