So while you are single and waiting for God to bring someone in your life, what are some things you are doing for God?

Me, Myself haven't done much, but plan on getting back in a local Church, this Father Day. Please Pray, God will direct me, by His Spirit, where I should go.

I'm just living. I'm not overly concerned with getting a mate. In the meanwhile I'm getting ready to finish college, accomplish some big goals, and work on developing my little ministry I got going on.

I'm teaching God's Word for children in our church. Ever since I love children and given the chance to teach God's Word is so amazing and i'm so thankful because God choose me out of so many people and i'm just so grateful and honored. Thank you so much Lord!

1 Thessalonians 5:24, "The one who calls you is faithful, and He will continue to be faithful."

He's always faithful to us even we are all sinners. It's so amazing to know that, that's how much God loves us imagine He sent His Son Jesus to died for us. And so whatever difficulties were facing we just need to remember His greatest love for us!

This is a great question for us singles, and must be taken very seriously!

The main thing to ask self, is have I repented of all my vile sins and addictions?

Act 3:19 Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Are you walking the crucified life as God commands?

Gal 5:24 But those belonging to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

Are you remaining separate from the world and all its vain attractions?

1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,
1Jn 2:16 because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

And the big question to ask self as you are waiting, is, have I been deceived?

2Th 2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,
2Th 2:12 so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.

God is calling His children out of the false church and world, to follow His son on the narrow road!

Luk 9:23 And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.

And are you diligently seeking truth? Holding fast to that which is true?

2Ti 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
2Ti 2:16 But shun profane, vain babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Are you contending earnestly for the pure and holy word of the gospel to keep it pure and undefiled!

Tit 1:9 holding fast the faithful Word according to the doctrine, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and to convict the gainsayers.
Tit 1:10 For there are indeed many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
Tit 1:11 whose mouth you must stop, who subvert whole houses, teaching things not right for the sake of ill gain.

Jud 1:3 Having made all haste to write to you about the common salvation, beloved, I had need to write to you to exhort you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.

Many false teachings are being taught today, original sin, substitution, repent after salvation, OSAS, Calvinism, etc,,,, we need a few strong warriors in the battle to get into the fight while you are waiting, many, many souls are perishing, and most are those who are in your church, check the message, question your pastor on all things, your eternal destiny lies in the balance.

And remember, the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God, are you one of them? Still in bondage to sins that lead to death? If Yes, you must repent, seek the mercy of God, and cut all known sin off at its roots!

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lustfulness,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, fightings, jealousies, angers, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

I think we need to do a little "leg work" on this one and beat the bushes if we are going to find what we are looking for.

I don't think she is just going to show up bathed in light as you hear a voice from heaven, "She is the one, the ONE I have picked out for YOU. I have heard your prayers and seen fit to provide you with the woman that you were meant to be with from the foundations of the earth."

I dare say from that day forward, it was utterly and divinely fabulous. Mmmm... yes, it was.

maintain a closer relationship with God, translating books my pastor wrote (long term project), be a good listener to anyone who needs someone to talk to and maybe give a little suggestion when needed (this is also an open invitation),
and be happy in my singleness :D
