Yes, she was bi-polar. Most people s\though say that part set her over.
I could have chosen a better word for the suicide comment. We are all responsible for our actions.
Yet we do influence each other, being human as we are. No one lives in a bubble.
Brando used woman for his pleasure and also due to his issues with his mom. He had a reputation for that. Being as good looking as he was, as charming as he was, and as intelligent as he was, he should have been more responsible with the way he made some woman feel used and foolish.

Although in fairness to Brando, a fair number of woman interviewed said they didn't mind feeling used by him...

It was Hollywood- they were using each other. Not the prettiest of places, for sure. I understand what you mean by people's actions having a bearing on others- but suicide is such an extreme response, that it can not in fairness be laid at another's doorstep.

I heard a fair number of men didn't mind being used by him either.

Those are the only two new movies I want to see right now. (except rogue one, but I heard they put some anti-trump scenes in it -_-)

In the fifties, Brando often called himself tri-sexual. Not getting into it here. Suffice to say he was like an animal, and all over the place in Paris in the early and mid fifties.

Look, I'm not a freaky deeky alt-righter, but I am absolutely tired of Hollywood's anti-Western schtick.

Are we sure he died?

Seems the sort to go into academia.

I'm not sure if it was intentional, however what you've just described is a close to accurate plot summary and central issues in the timeless piece 'Stage Door' - if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

I am tired of Hollywood, period. That's one reason why I watch more old movies then new ones.
The Hollywood establishment actually distributed among themselves a anti God, anti church, pro gay, pro promiscuous sex manifesto in the early '60's.

No, I haven't seen it. I had heard of it, but only knew it was about Hollywood. Thanks for the recommendation.

That is one of the things I like about Trump. These people fancied themselves a part of the third estate. Now the folks they treated as ticket-buying, celebrity-worshiping sycophants are laughing at them.

It won't last forever, but if you can't enjoy sweet little victories like this in life, are you truly living?

In Hollywood just about any kind of sex for just about any reason is ok, cheating is all right, divorce is almost expected, drug use is fine, lying is acceptable, money, fame and power are to be accumulated and used to roll over people, God is dead, Christians are idiots, zealots and dangerous, and white men are even stupider. then dirt

I'm willing to overlook the political silliness of some new films simply to remain in touch with my generation and to remember how to see the good in things.

Our school put it in as our production for 2016 - so brilliant.

As a partial Jew, this popular disdain for white men concerns me. Reminds me of stories from the old country.

Great, great grandad thought he was sparing his descendants from similar pariah-hood by coming to America. Alas.

The political silliness cheapens the art. Particularly when it was so trope-reliant.

I loved Hollywood, or rather, the movie-making industry in the 1980's. They were coming out with so many awesome movies (ET, Top Gun, Karate Kid, Star Wars trilogy, Stripes, Caddychack, Vacation, Ferris beuller, etc....). I thought movies were the bomb.

Now there's about as much creativity and talent in hollywood as there is filet mignon at a vegan festival... :p
