One of my favorites nics on here. Intriguing and one of a kinds. Major brownie points to you!
Did someone mention brownies??? :D That gives me an idea for another variation, Ritter! How about, SeoulFood one of these days? :) Nah, that'll give everyone the impression that my favorite food is kimchi... (Nothing against it... it's just that I'm very Americanized and prefer a good cheeseburger. :D)

Sorry to get off topic... I get distracted by food. :) And thanks so much for the love on my nick! ;)

Catlynn is what my roommates in Hawaii called me. There are so many crazy wordplays on Cat, my actual nickname and what everyone calls me, that on any site I sign up for I just have to go down the list until I find one that's not taken. This was the first one available. Haha

Acrobat: U2 song lyric "you must be an acrobat, to talk like this and act like that"...

Always thought that was an echo of the Christian life as echoed by Paul in Romans 6.

We know the truth, try to do what's right, but frequently/mostly fail at it...

My current handle is part of my name. Elsewhere on the internet I am known as "Smoke". I am known as "circleT" in a couple rare instances, and circleme on one forum.

I was thinking of asking this in the "I've always wanted to ask..." thread, but figured it is a good enough stand alone topic.

So! Why did you choose your chat nickname? Would you change it if you could? Do you have it on multiple sites?
Well, as some of you may know, I have an older sister on here, Christian_chick50109. How my username first came about was, before I came on CC, my sister and quite a few other CC chatters were doing these HUGE group calls on Skype, and she added me in a lot of them. In hopes people recognize me as Chicky's little sister, I decided to go with Lil_christianchick or something along those lines at first, but then I didn't like that. And so I did Lil Christian. And I liked the name enough so when I finally registered on here, I went with that and people knew who I was, and I was welcomed warmly. :) I was a little shy at first, but people encouraged me to be myself and come outta that shell and I eventually did! And somehow people STILL like me... :p

And another reason I named myself Lil_Christian is I'm the youngest in my family. I'm the baby lol (and I STILL get babied on here! LOL). Annnd I was fairly small then. But not anymore. >.< Oh well though!

Nothing special about my nickname, it is just the name my parents gave me. Since most of the people automatically make up their own nicknames for me i thought it would be different to use my real name this time ;) Interesting topic Ritter! Like every neugierige ( cannot remember the english translation right now :p) i have been wondering about the stories behind the nicknames ;)

I really enjoyed reading through the posts of the nickname reasons! :) Great idea for a thread.

Well, where my nickname came from is quite obvious, I think. I just really appreciate her inner beauty and Godly strength and love; to stand by the one she loves, to risk it all and to fight the good fight. Those characteristics are something that I admire, and hope to attain some of them as I grow.

Also, I'm finding that it is serving as a great icebreaker :)

Names in the bible are significant. I wanted to choose something that properly captured my state. I didn't want to be hypocritical in choosing something like "Brave" or "Courageous" or "Dauntless" because I didn't feel that way at that time. Instead, I felt very downcast, so I choose "Gloom"

And, no, I don't currently use this title on any site but Christian Chat.
