(Well, this took quite an eventful turn...)

...So she told her mother about everything. It took a lot of strength and bravery, but she did it. Her mother, however, was, to Marissa's surprise, not at all pleased about it. Her mother was actually rather distressed about the whole situation, as this means that she has to skip the rest of exam month. She got a huge scolding from her mum, instead of the usual encouragement she was expecting. Surprised about her mother's reaction, she retreated back to her room and thought...

She shifted uncomfortably in her seat.... she knew she couldn't unleash more bad news on her mom at the moment , so she ran with the bad test results thing.. " Umm that's actually what I was gonna tell you. I don't know what came over me, I've just been really distracted lately. I promise I'll do better. " Her mom hugged her tight and assured her she could do better if she gave it her all. Marissa went upstairs to her room and flung herself on the bed and let out a sob..... The guilt was killing her. She knew she had to tell someone so she called.....

UPDATE (1):

The time came when Marissa was about to take her IB Math Exams. As she enters the exam room, she silently prays to God for her to do well. However, she has spent the whole week hanging out with her boyfriend and updating her social media status. The next week she got her results back. They were
positive, And I don't mean about the math quiz either. That's right she was pregnant.

She was floored. What, now?, would she tell her mother and real boyfriend, being he is overseas at war right now? She paused and thought
she could come to her mother with anything as her mother loves her unconditionally and will not condemn her, although she would be disappointed with her.

So she marshalled all her courage and asked her mother if they could have a conversation
her mother saying, "sure I actually had to talk to YOU about your test scores, your teacher called and said you scored lower than anyone whose ever taken a test in that class even though I love you I'm very disappointed. Now what did you want to talk about?" Marissa did not know how to break the news, so she blurted out "Mom, I am pregnant."So she told her mother about everything.

It took a lot of strength and bravery, but she did it. Her mother, however, was, to Marissa's surprise, not at all pleased about it. Her mother was actually rather distressed about the whole situation, as this means that she has to skip the rest of exam month. Although it was not the best time, she could not help being overwhelmed with awe that a baby was growing inside her, her baby to love. She knew prenatal care is important, so she decided to tell her mother straightaway...

...forest called the 'Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve.' This place is beautiful, she thought, her friend had told her it is known as a terrain of cloud forest, something she could use right now, being on another cloud. She saw a lush garden of mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes on literally every tree. With the clouds drifting really low, it was beautiful and scary at the same time, kind of like Marisa's life right now. While she walked with the hiking guide and a few trained Gorillas close by, she began to think about...
