I believe Jesus tipped back a few with the regulars in his time so I'm sure he wouldn't be there to judge you, mate.

Here's the problem overdrinking will always lead to 1 or more of 6 conclusions.
Always? I'm pretty sure I've drunk more than I ought and it's not led to any of your conclusions.

1 intoxication leading to vomiting
2 intoxication leading to sexual promiscuity and possible side effects stds etc.
3 intoxication leading to injury (major wipeout down a flight of stairs)
4 intoxication leading to death (you and your buddies driving home impaired and get in an accident causing death)
5 intoxication leading to other types of intoxication (drugs)
6 intoxication leading to alcoholism (very bad trust me)
No, there are more options than that, and some of them aren't so terrible. Off the top of my head, here's another one:

I've been around alcoholics all my life and it's not till your outside the box looking in that you realize the error of your your ways..............OH YEAH and FYI I'm a reformed alcoholic so don't misconstrue my message to make yourself feel better or because you feel I'm being too rigid in my post

If you were 21 or older, I'd say no, but being that you're under age yes he does. Is it going to send you to hell? Of course not. Drinking in itself is not bad, but getting drunk is and drinking underage is.

Age has nothing to do with drunkeness. A states or countries laws pertaining to the legal age for alcohol consumption vary greatly.
I referred to the effects of intoxication and it's very negative side effects.
I understand about being young and curious all too well.
It is only when your older or have gone through struggles like this and triumphed that you can truly see what damage is done by drunkenness. As I sometimes say "how would you know the light if you never seen the dark"

I think it is wrong in the sense that when you drink you do a lot of stupid things. If you take it too far and your not in the right set of mind you can make a lot of stupid mistakes that you will probably regret later.God is a God of order not confusion.Most teenager like drinking because it gives them courage to do things that they would not normally do.It can become addicting.I do drink wine once in a while with my husband on a special occacion.
God has our best interest in mind if he say not to get drunk than he knows what his talking about.
Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor DRUNKards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God.1 Corinthians 6:9-10

The drink offered to Jesus on the cross would have been somewhat medicinal to help with the pain and agony. Doubt that he rejected it because it was inherently evil. He want to take the full force of man's sin and the punishment for it with a clear and sober mind.

One cannot prove simply by the term whether or not the wine Jesus made from water was alcoholic. Nor can we prove that the communion cup was alcoholic. The distillation of spirits, etc. today is not the same as it was 2000 years ago. Besides we have many more choices today for beverage than did they.

In the USA underage drinking is against the law. The Bible says to obey the laws of the land. Therefore a minor may not drink and still be okay with God.

Actually grape juice in any form will ferment if it was not pasteurized, and they did not have access to pasteurization back then. So it's pretty safe to assume that unless they squeezed the grape juice 10 minutes before the Last Supper that it was indeed alcoholic.

I didn't say it was okay to be drunk. I said drinking under 21 is illegal so it shouldn't be done.

I'm not taking any of your words out of context, I'm simply disputing your use of the word 'always'.

Alcochol can cause you to damage your body and mind.
And your body is Holy.. How then will you contaminated with alcochol?

My Pardon you have but...........................
I don`t see the point to quibble over how many times it takes being drunk to fall in to one of the 6 categories I gavefor the sake of accuracy. The outline is accurate and the results are generally never pleasant when viewed from eyes of a sober nature.

I've never seen having a couple of drinks as being a sin, if you are of legal age. The one problem I do see with it is that there is only one way to find out whether or not you are an alcoholic.

Any person who is/has been caught up in alcoholism will relate to this: Remember when just that one drink made you feel relaxed and a little tipsy? Two drinks? Three drinks? And now you're sucking down 6 or more just to get the same effect as that one drink?

wine with food is okay, but it's not okay to drink to be drunk, cause when we are drunk we often do stupid things and we are more likely to sin. Some people are trying to make it sound okay but it is never okay. We aren't drinking to be drunk alone in our bedrooms, we are drinking in parties with people that often don't have a good influence on us and as a christian we shouldn't be apart of that.
