soo 2 days ago i was video chatting with one of my friends (she's in the US on vacation) and she was talking about her ex that she broke up with about 2 weeks earlier blah blah
she knows i'm attracted to girls and i'm trying to stop all that so when she told me she really liked me.. like LIKED me, i thought she was just playing
after a long time of talking about it she told me when she gets here (she left TODAY to come back & she'll be here TOMORROW) she's gonna ask me out and ''will NOT take no for an answer.''
to be honest.. i love the girl to death
we've been friends since i knew myself
but i know that saying yes to her is the wrongest thing to do
and THE biggest sin i'll ever commit in my entire lifetime
i know the right thing to do is just say no but it's not gonna be easy at all!
i know that God will help me 'cause i'm doing this all for him :)
i'm praying so hard about it and hopefully i wont get caught up and say or do something that i'm gonna regret later on.

so yeah.. thats all. thanks for reading :)

It sounds like you are on the edge here. You know that this is wrong, but you also realize what a temptation it will be for you. Here are some verses that might help you make the right decision. Remember to put on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6! Part of that is equipping yourself by knowing what God says about your situation. You CAN tell her no. You SHOULD tell her no. If you are firm, and don’t stick around for her to change your mind, she WILL have to take no for an answer. God can help you do it.
Romans 13:14
“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.”

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
And finally, it would be really great and helpful to you if you took some time and sat down and read Romans 1 and 2.
I know it sounds like a lot, but this ought to help you stand firm.

I will put you in my prayers. Everytime you get tempted to think about that kind of stuff, Just shout out that you will never bow down to such. You are a queen and queens are not slaves they are more than conquerers.

I know what you're feeling, and though I really don't like LIKE girls.. well yeah, i feel for you, and I'll be praying for you. But really.. I don't think saying "yes" will do you any good. :) Just saying. Be strong! Always ask for God's wisdom. You are a child of God, the King, therefore, a princess :)

Well id just like to say that im so happy and so proud of you for even acknowledging that it is wrong and wanting to do something about it! :D so my advise is to talk to your youth pastor or pastor about it. (or anyone like that) have someone with you there that will always help you get through the temptation. then you need to try and show your friend how wrong it is, and that it doesn’t have to be like that. but always remember that your relationship with God comes first. if she try’s to get you to go out with her by saying that shes not going to be your friend anymore if you don’t... then hold firm let her walk away. you don’t need her if shes going to be tempting you like that, and if she is your true friend she will come back to you. :) ill be praying for you!

The Spirit is not that weak. Search your heart if Christ is written on it to resist sexual immorality is not a hardship but an understanding that there is no way to do it.

If you're into this girl and if she's into you, there should be nothing standing in the way of you two being together. If you didn't think God would punish you if you were to go out with her, would you go out with her? If the answer is yes then go be happy with this girl. There is NOTHING wrong with this situation whatsoever.
If you know you would be happy if you two got together, why are you even asking for advice. Live the way you want. Not by any other plan. Love comes in all forms and none of it should be discriminated.

darling vegehead .... there is somthing wrong with it acording to the bible which was written by God. God says that homosexuality is wrong. the desires that she is haveing are being shaped by the "fleash" and influenced and suported by the devil. but God wants to start her back on track.... thats all ima say

well sweetheart, according to the bible there is something wrong with it and that was written a loooong time ago. but none of us really know what God thinks about this. He didn't exactly write the Bible.

Actually we do know what God thinks about it, and God did write the Bible, and whether he wrote the Bible a "looooong" time ago or yesterday doesn't make any difference since truth isn't effected by time.

The disciples were inspired by God when they wrote the bible, by the Holy Spirit. That is also why the bible is seen as God's Word. It is written by human hands, yes. But the words are all inspired by God. :)

Also, God created man and woman to being together; not woman to be with woman, nor man to be with man. It isn't normal when a man is with another man, nor when a woman is with another woman. If this would have been the case, how would all the earth have been filled up in the first place? If only a man and a woman can create a child when getting together, but they are not meant to being together forever?

Also, many facts as darwinism, phylosophy, facts about the earth being 'round etc are also written a very very long time ago. Should we just boicott everything they learn in school 'cause of this not being written in the modern era? I still see a lot teached at the schools nowadays, they don't seem to change this kinda facts. So saying the bible is written a looooong time ago, doesn't proves nor helps much. There is a lot of facts from older times that people still read and teach about today, also about Norse Mythology, Vikings, Middle Age, etc.... This is also things that happened a looooong time ago. ;)

accuallly we all know becuz the bible is 1. Gods word to us he says to follow what is in it.
2. he did write the bible but through ppl... but i see ppl are already saying that so ima be quite lol

Regardless of your own personal beliefs, you do realize that this forum is a Christian one, right? Therefore, all things on this forum revolve around the Bible. And seeing as the original poster of this thread was speaking of her current situation compared to what God wants in her life indicates that she wants a Bible-based perspective.

I am sure the community of CC welcomes you and all others of any belief, but to be disrespectful and make statements claiming the Bible is invalid because it was written a long time ago is spreading deceit WITHIN a Christian online community and should be dealt with accordingly.

It's disrespectful to point out that someone is saying the Bible is invalid because of it's age and informing them that this is a Christian site?

sorry, im just trying to learn. i wasnt saying the the bible was invalid. i was saying that times have changed a lot. and io kow this is a christian site. but there are different kinds of christians

All Christians go by what the Bible says. Homosexuality is wrong because the bible says it is and to women cant have children. So obviously its wrong all together.
