Actually, I spent some time reading your posts on other chat sites. And then I read the ones here. In the past couple of months, you've moved away from humbly asking for help and prayer, to your recent posts about homosexuality here.
So this explains your rant?, and it explains how i'm hateful towards homosexuals?

homosexual behavior is called a besetting sin. Besetting sins are sins that have been able to enslave people on a deeper level then other sins. Many times people with a besetting sin feel shame and helpless against it's power over them. There is power in the blood of Christ Jesus and the bellief there in. A sin that is controlled by a deep stronghold in a person takes more to brake it's power over a person. Besetting sins are usually held in place by three lies of Satan that the person has come to believe.
1 I tried but can not brake free from this
2 I don't want to do this, but can't stop myself.
3 I need an answer, but can't find it.

The person has surrendered their will in this area over to the evilone. So believes he is powerless to over come it. With every attempt one uses to set themselves free a new pain can develop, because as you fight to set yourself free satan will add guilt and shame on top of what you are going through. What needs to be done is the person needs to start taking back control of their mind through prayer, Fasting and rebuking satan every time the thought come up. When you Fast you are regaining control over your will and bring Spiritual powers to help you overcome. Builed up your faith through Christian music and stories of others who have been set free. When you hear a thought in your mind that you know is not your and it is in this area of sin rebuke it right away give it no time to settle in. Keep your mind clean be mindful of the books you read and shows you watch.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Rromans 12:2

Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 1 cor 6:18
Sexual abuse or sin brings shame like nothing else can and that is why it is the hardest to overcome.

You said: "Jesus said a prostitute will make it into heaven before a righteouss man. Because a righteouss man thinks he is not guilty. A prostitute knows she is wrong."

The problem lays in the Homosexuals that refuse to admit that they are wrong, the problem is the many that BELIEVE they are righteous.

Yes we are to love the Homosexual just as we love the Adulterer, but we can't water down the word of God. BOTH are a sin.

Even in our Churches Homosexuals come and try to change our doctrines, saying that only portions of the Bible are true. We must reject these lies!

They attempt to manipulate us by saying that we are Homophobes if we don't agree with them and proclaim their lifestyle as Biblical. Just as some people voted for Barrack Obama to prove they are not racist they want us to denounce the Word of God to prove we not a homophobes . I refuse to take the bait.

Jesus was in the face of the Woman at the well as he said: ohn 4:16 Jesus told her, “Go and bring your husband.” 17-18 The woman answered, “I don’t have a husband.”

“That’s right,” Jesus replied, “you’re telling the truth. You don’t have a husband. You have already been married five times, and the man you are now living with isn’t your husband.”

He then told her to: "Go and sin no more".

1 Cor. 14:24.But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or outsider enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all,

25.the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, falling on his face, he will worship God and declare that God is really among you.

Jesus never Mollycoddled sinners. and he don't call us to do. He calls us to love them, and share his great love with them but we aren't to agree with their ways to placate them.

Think before you speak, I use to be gay, and someone pointing out my sins made me hate God. Sometimes all a person needs is a friend. I learned that simply loving my gay friends pulls them towards Christ more than me saying "being gay is a sin" because in reality, we ALL sin.

Here is a short teaching that gets into the scriptures of what homosexuality means to YHVH(GOD) but also the compassion and boldness needed to confront it. It titled 'Strange Flesh' Shalom

People wanted to stone a prostitute: John8:7 - When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
So many times I see people use this verse to try and justify sin. Jesus did judge this woman readverse 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Jesus don't want us to kill sinners (sometimes that would be suicide) but he does want us to confront them with the sin and show them that forgiveness is available. Jesus is not a doormat to be walked on though, we must turn from our ways to be truly forgiven.

I am glad God delivered you from that, I am also glad you didn't meet Jesus like the prostitute did because he might have scared you away by telling you that you are a sinner.

As Christians we ARE called to love all sinners but we do them great error if we don't confront the sin in their lives. There is absolutely NO way a person can go to Heaven if they do not accept that they are a sinner. If we invite say... people that are co-habitating out of wedlock into our Church and they come for years and no-one ever confronts them with their sin but gave them a false sense of security by keeping it on the down low we are NOT being Christ like.

I have been a friend to a Homosexual nearly two years and he attends my Church, when another of his friends confronted him about it he decided she wasn't his friend anymore. When I confronted him in love that it was wrong in God's eyes he ended our 2 year friendship also.

No one can be saved from the fires of Hell unless they repent of their sins, how long do we wait to tell them it is a sin? 1 year?, 2 years? 5 years? What if they die in that time and I never told them Jesus can forgive them of ALL their sins and he wants them in Heaven? Then it is on MY conscience and I have to answer to God for my ineptness.

Don't put the blame for initially rejecting Christ on the person who first "pointed your sins out to you". You and only you can choose to reject God, and you are the only one that can accept him.

Of course if the person said: " You sick, twisted, vile sinner you are going straight to Hell lest ye repent" Then he/she wasn't following Christ's example. If He/She said hey "James I want to tell you about Jesus that can save you from your sins like he saved me from mine" then he was absolutely Christ Like.

When I was unsaved I would have been furious if Christians had hid the fact that I was a sinner from me, I could have died and went Hell because of their Political Correctness.

What I find greatly disturbing is that so many of us are SO comfortable with confronting homosexuals in their sin, yet we dont really confront others regarding "lesser" sins. If someone cusses someone out, dresses provocatively, drinks, etc we tend to overlook it much of the time.

I was floored by this book. The overemphasis really is disturbing. I use the anecdote too often, but I just sat in awe after a church service, watching drivers honk, yell, and jockey for position in the parking lot.

I would caution you about how close you get to the friends of your old lifestyle. While you may not be trying to convert them to your new beliefs they may try to tempt you back into the old way of thinking.

1 Corinthians 15:33 ESV
Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

Psalm 1:1 ESV
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

Proverbs 6:27 ESV
Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?

Yeah, I know it is tough.

Submitting yourself to worship a Sovereign God and relinquishing all control of your life to him is not easy. Blaming others for your own weakness is however easy.

Well since this is coming from you, i'm not surprised.. I would have probably made the same decision, but a rant like yours only make it easier for me.. I'm not blaming you, i'm just saying stop ranting about people you don't know anything about, by the way, do you think what you posted here today would actually draw homosexuals to God??. NO.. It would only draw us away from God the more, and you just made a good job of that..

The issue is: we tell people to stop sinning at the wrong time. Jesus never said "Change your ways before you ask for forgiveness." But he DID say "I forgive you, now go and sin no more." 99% percent of homosexuals have been told it's a sin, one more person shoving it down their throat WILL not help... I have bright so many homosexuals to Christ just by being their friend. If they ask, I will not sugarcoat the truth. But me bringing it up saying "you're going to Hell" isn't necessarly the right thing to do.

I'm also not saying homosexuals go to Heaven.. I know you have to repent, but as I said, I KNOW what it's like to be told by everyone you're going to Hell. Some people need a friend more than they need a preacher.

I agree here however, just never point out a particular sin though. Which is where so many Christians go wrong.
