I am not a Mormon, but i do have to ask, what makes the bible any more accurate then the book of Mormon? Is it because the bible is older? Because Joseph Smith hard a hard time getting across to people what he may or may not have seen? Personally I think both books have a good message, and both have written mistakes and inaccuracies in them.
The Jesus of Christianity compared to the Jesus of Mormonism <----- (click on that) Here, this is written in a Christian view, but take a look at it...

Can you tell me what kind of inaccuracies you found in the Bible?

I could go into it, but I think that is going off topic. Especially when you could just google it.

But my question stands, what is different between the bible and the Book of Mormon.

Not attacking here, just pointing out some things to think about.

I have read both books, and I totally agree that they are different. But who is to say which one is right? They are both books that say they are true. I know the bible says it is the true word of God. But what kind of logic is that. What I say is the truth because I said it is the truth....

Did you read the link I gave you? the Book of Mormon has been changed 4,000 times since 1830. The Bible hasn't been changed. Maybe has been put into different translations (and some of them I don't like at all because of the way they word things...like The Message Bible and NIV Bible...those are stupid...), but overall, the Bible has not changed.

All the stuff I found was taken out of context. Having just individual verses or even three verses at a time can tread as taking things out of context. You seriously have to take in the Bible as a whole.

Question...did you web search bible inaccuracies? Unless you were out to prove Christianity wrong, you wouldn't be reading every single line trying to look for a contradiction.

That would be a valid argument, if it were true. There really is alot of research you can do in this area and be surprised by. But the bible has been changed, several times.

"First Council of Nicaea (325)
First Council of Constantinople (381)
Council of Ephesus (431)
Second Council of Ephesus (449)
Council of Chalcedon (451) repudiated
Second Council of Constantinople (553)
Third Council of Constantinople (680-681)
Quinisext Council, also called Council in Trullo [2] (692)
Second Council of Nicaea (787)
First Council of the Lateran (1123)
Fourth Council of the Lateran (1215)
Second Council of Lyon (1274)
First Council of the Vatican (1870; officially, 1870-1960)

At each of these ecumenical councils (not all of the councils, incidentally), there were definitive changes in the content and interpretation of scripture, including the addition of some books/passages and the removal of others and whether or not Jesus was THE son of God or just A son of God....

Then of course there are parts that were dramatically altered WITHOUT a council for personal gain. One great example of this was Henry VIII, who, in a break from the Catholic Church, "tweaked" the contents of the Bible to allow himself to divorce his current wife.

And then there were the couple hundred years of doctrinal changes occurring as a war between the pope in Spain and the Pope in Italy vied for control of Catholicsm (Italy won) in 1534-1549"

No I didn't initially do a search for them myself. I majored in religious studies in michigan for 2 years and went to seminary school in Minnesota for a year. In both places, religious historical inaccuracies were studied areas.

I've chatted with Mormons many times, and I've even gotten some to admit to being polytheist, even though they don't call it polytheism. I've got screen shots if someone wants the, just PM me.

I'm assuming it's a secular college?

The man in the Video is right and he had the TRUTH on his side. The man was insensed when he said something about Joseph Smith.
Joseph Smith was not a prophet. I am not attacking the people of the LDS church I am sure they are some good wonderful people, yet they get really offended when you disagree about Joseph Smith. The book of Mormon is not scripture and they claim it is. Guys im sorry Christ is not comming back in Missouri. Joseph Smith is infalable to them yet he had 37 wives. And that man was right why do I need to read the Book of Mormon, if you have the God the Word in your heart. And poligamy was outlawed by the LDS chuch because it was the only way Utah Territory could obtain entry into the Union. I see that show Sister Wives and they act as though they are living a Godly existence and take offence when they are told the truth. I am no one to Judge anyone nor throw stones, but I know the truth through Jesus Christ. I just pray for them as people who need to Come to the Father through Jesus Christ our lord....and not through Joseph Smith. This is my humble opinion.

I feel bad for those mormons and bad for that man who thought that slamming them in the face with scripture was the loving thing to do. We are called to love above all else. This is not to say that we can't speak truth, but this was not truth in love. I am a Christian. I love God. I believe in salvation only through the atoning blood of Jesus. I am in no way mormon, but I do understand them more than most do.
I was raised in town of about 4,000 people. In that same town, there were 3 huge (400-1000 people) mormon churches. You could say the mormon church has a serious stronghold there. My mother becam a mormon at 16 and is now Christian. She was baptized for about 35 dead family members. She went through many of the rights. She was on the inside. My father is currently on the inside. I once asked him why he was mormon and he said the mormon church was the only church he walked in and felt like family. It's sad, but the mormon church has a serious hand up the Christian church on how they take care of their people.
I once invited some missionaries to my dorm because I wanted to hear from the mouth of the horse what they believe, but even they didn't truly know. They knew how to defend their faith to the average person, but when you bring up the controversy many of the are stuck. Unfortunately, the girls ended up crying out of frustration from trying to convince us. I was not proud that they were crying.
Mormons are people just as we are. They are deceived just as we once were. They are lost just as we once were. Why do we slap them around with the bible and laugh when they shudder. It's a shame that so many Christians have come to this. If your conversation is gonna escalate like this conversation did, then walk away. All this man did was take "truth" and speak it with a spirit that made it false. He took scriptures and slapped these boys around like they were evil. They weren't evil, they are deceived.

Not sure what either of those are

Bethal is a Christian university, Luther is a seminary school. I studied pharmacology at Ferris.

I studied at a few other places while i was in the military, but those were the long ones.

the black dude did nothing wrong here.
He told them the facts, and they got mad, because the truth was to close for comfort..and:
‎"Because I will give you such words and wisdom that none of your enemies will be able to refute or contradict what you say." -Luke 21:15
I have Mormon friends though, and I invited them to my church, my one Mormon friend (Josh) KNOWS the power of the true living God, but his church threatened to excommunicate him if he went back. Seems to me like they know they're wrong. They're scared of the truth.
