I have decided i'm going to enjoy my life without lots of rules and regulations in my life. All my life i've felt let down by God but yet i've remained loyal - until now. No more christianity, no more bible, no more going to church. I've had enough now.
I'm going to live my life my way - based on what i think is right.
That includes sex, alcohol, tattoo's etc etc.

I'm done.

just curious.
why are you informing us?

seems like if you were truly intent on turning your back on the one Creator that loves you
more than anything, you probably wouldn't give us the chance to reply to your decision by
telling us.. it doesn't make sense.

i've turned my back on God & life just got worse. trust me, there is no life without Jesus.
by giving in to your urges & forgetting the morals you were raised with, you're only going
to destroy yourself. it leads to addictions, which can't be satisfied. sin in general in insatiable.
loving God & following Jesus doesn't mean rules & regulations. that's religion.
so yeah, enjoy your life without religion, but without God?
you'll only find temporary 'satisfaction' & it won't last or fulfill you.

be well,
carlie

You never truly knew Him. You were never of Him. You never really surrendered to Hm or understood what it is to follow Him. But just know one thing.
There is nothing hidden from the creator of the universe. Christianity isn't a thing. It is a relationship with the Creator. I can tell you had no understanding since you viewed it as rules and regulations. But no one can force you to follow God. Not even God Himself. Sin will only satisfy you for a season, that is what it did for me. I haven't found the fulfillment I find in the promises of God, and the incredible accuracy of His prophecies that are being fulfilled to this day.
I will warn you though, that if you choose this path, it will lead you to eternal separation from God. And once this happens there is no point of return. There will be no time to repent then.

Hebrews 10:26-31

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

It saddens me to read what you said. You don't understand what eternal separation from God is. I wouldn't wish for anyone, even the vilest sinner to face it, but that all would repent.

Ezekiel 18:23-24
Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?
24 “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

1 John 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

1 Timothy 4

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

I did the same thing for about 8 months or so. What i ended up finding out was that there was better happiness outside of Yeshua but I never had the same purpose or eternal, peaceful happiness that God brings.

All i suggest is to be safe and careful and dont do anything youll regret :) Also if you still believe in God, dont ever lose that, keep the faith even if you dont keep the sanctification. Enjoy your life and have fun, but if you come back let me know :) cos ill have loads to tell you :p

Sorry Lad, but just believing in your mind isn't enough.

Matthew 7:13-14
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because[a] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me(To where He is going, which is with the Father for all eternity), let him deny himself(Turn away from sin entirely and give up your dreams and desires for the will of God), and take up his cross daily(Let Christ live in and through you), and follow Me(Be like Him, live for the will of the Father, follow all that He was here on earth).

John 14:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the WAY(You must walk in Him), the TRUTH(You must believe with your entire being in Him and in His word), and the LIFE(You must die to your own life to live in Him). No one comes to the Father except through Me.

You cannot go to Father unless you do what He said. PERIOD! Narrow is the road, and few ever find it.

the fallacy with your suggestion is that she publicly declared she wants nothing to do with God. didn't you read that she thinks that God has let her down? lad, she never knew God. I know your intentions are good. But sadly she never knew Him...

You are not God, you have no right to make such assumptions.

I am not God, but guess what God said?

Matthew 7:15-20

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire(Aka. hell). 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 7:21-23
New King James Version (NKJV)
I Never Knew You

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

matthew 7 obviously talking bout false prophets there.

The thing is ive been a hardcore christian and then I walked away from God and completely rejected his very existence, but then He brought me back, like He does for His lost sheep. Perhaps this chick is one of those lost sheep, or lost coins, or prodigal sons.

hmmm a practicer of iniquity can be any human being, not just prophets. so clearly goes out to everyone, not just false prophets. But have it for sure, that if she is God's He will bring her back for sure.

I apologize for Adrian, he is very judgmental and careless with scripture.

Also i see that you are a mom, saw it on your profile. Im not sure if your doing this for attention or not. I hope that is not the case.

God looks at you, the way you look at your child. If your child came to you one day and said mom, i've decided im not gonna listen to you anymore and im just gonna do whatever i want!
That would break your heart wouldn't it.
You set bounderies for your son or daughter because you dont want them to be hurt, you know whats best because your the parent.

You know where im going with this obviously.

I pray you make the right decision concerning you and your child.
