Off topic and you refused to answer a simple question, thus making everything you post a joke.

I answered all the questions you need to know

But hey, if you think you can get stoned and drunk and be right with God go right ahead.

We can have an experiment and see where you end up!

I'm fully aware of what doctors and scientists say. How can a person not know? It's been blasted in the media for decades. On every pack of cigarettes and advertisement everywhere.

But that's NOT the question now is it?

Is it a sin that separates a person from a relationship with God?

My answer was based in scriptures....not the AMA or Irish Doctors association.

When the bread for "...give us this day our daily bread" needs to be gluten-free, organic, vegan, and non-GMO....it's time to cut back on the nonsense.

Tobacco and vaping are not stupefying concoctions. Coffee is not either...nor is tea. (Iced or hot)

Jesus said something about all of this....many times in many ways.

Jesus drank wine and they called him a drunk....maybe you should relax your eye brows a bit. (Wine is intoxicating)

Everyone dies of something at some point in time. A smoker might get smacked by a bus or truck or shot by terrorists...was it the Tobacco that killed them?

But that's NOT the question now is it?

Knowingly doing things that damage the body is sinful behavior, so it is part of the answer to the question.

Everyone dies of something at some point in time.

Christians should not be sick when they go.

They should live a long life (70+ years) and go when God is ready for them to go.

At which time the Lord simply removes their spirit.

One does not have to be sick to go home.

So...
Got any tattoos?
Pierced ears?
Listen to music too loudly?
Eat junk food?
Over eat at Thanksgiving?
Skip leg day at the gym?
Read too much?

It's legalism...it's holding others to a level that you are unwilling to hold yourself to.
Jesus was quite specific about doing this.
Matthew 7:1-2
¹Do not judge, or you will be judged. ²For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Luke 6
³⁷Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. ³⁸Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you

Wrong again buddy! Christians should engage in clean living if they love the Lord because that's how Jesus rolls!

Those claiming legalism are the ones most often involved in watching kiddie porn, or stepping out on their wives or some other dastardly deeds.

God knows what you been doing!

Ummmm....
Nope....don't do anything like that. I'm rather boring in many ways. I take care of my house, go to church on Wednesdays and Sundays and cook dinners for friends and family. (Recovering chef)

Ive had the same new years resolution that I can't seem to keep of needing to drink more alcoholic beverages....I keep failing miserably at it....too busy with what I got going on. Between my family and my wife's family and friends....don't have time for any shenanigans. Nor do I want to...I enjoy my rich and full life the way it currently is. I don't even play the lottery for fear God will make me win the fool thing.

I just think that we have enough of our own sins and others trying to entice us with serious sins without browbeating stupid things like tobacco use or skipping leg day at the gym.

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.
That isn't to license sin...but even if the practice of using tobacco is not wise it isn't mind altering, intoxicating, or anything else....it certainly doesn't keep someone from knowing God. Kinda like tattoos...people get them for odd reasons....but they are not going to keep someone from a relationship with God.

God loves people with tattoos, warts and tobacco addiction. Maybe it's time to stop being the angry brother in the prodigal son story and join in the party....because there isn't another one being thrown later.

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

There's no condemnation for those that walk after the spirit and not the flesh.

There's no excuse before the Lord to not know what His Word says.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Those that are carnally minded are walking in death (separation from the Lord)

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Just remember....
I warned you all I could....tried to get you to stop...you refused and doubled down.

Unfortunately I know the consequences of your actions....it is not going to be pleasant.

I'm abiding in Christ following the whole counsel of God unlike others peddling the fake security in sin gospel

Thanks for the chuckle though. Your post is hilarious and comes from a blind mind void of understanding.

Those peddling false doctrine are the ones that have open doors to the devil in their lives that are going to get whacked.

We'll see where the false teachers peddling the false doctrine end up. They won't be going north when they croak

This could be such an entertaining fight if y'all would put some effort in it.

So far y'all have both been just snapping off rote lines.

If you two could dig deep, I could sell tickets to this scrap. But so far it's a straight snooze. Nobody gonna want to watch a fight where both contestants are just sleepwalking through it.

Arguing with the mental midgets among us that follow reformed theology just makes these little fellas angry.

I've had these little weirdos curse me and claim bad things will happen to me for exposing their false doctrine and my life just keeps getting better and better because the Lord wants their fake gospel exposed.

The spirits they are being led by don't have the power to overcome the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. It's quite funny when they start trying to curse people like they are witches and warlocks.

I'm trying to warn you because it's going to suck to be you one day when you figure it out.

Peter once thought that mixing in a bit of legalism with what Jesus taught him was a great idea....until Paul had to straighten him out.
And it really sucked to be Peter that day I assure you. Had my own issues with it once upon a time...but God cured me of it. It was anything but pleasant.

Do you want to reach the lost or argue theology with others?
Can't do both....got to have focus to do either. And it takes time to prepare. What do you want to do?

I love conservative churches....oh believe me on that one. I'm as conservative as they come. No rainbow flag anywhere near the church I attend. Not even on a dashboard in the parking lot.

But the math you propose doesn't math.

I don't follow false doctrine so it's a blessing to walk in the Truth of what God's Word actually teaches!

Those teaching reformed theology to people are actually leading them to hell.

Ya'll must be keeping it all under cover.

The osas doctrines espoused by reformed theology churches leads people to believe they still go to Heaven is if they live in sin so most just keep their freaky stuff in the closet.

Reformed theology is fuzzy devil math :poop:

I don't preach reformed doctrine or Calvinism. Nothing at all like that. In fact I teach hermeneutics that clearly demonstrate Calvinism and Arminianism both are wrong. And in John's Gospel there's a major story that addresses this very theology repackaged and repurposed. (Just saying) Every Calvinist glosses this story....never looking closely at it.

And the whole lgbtq agenda is aimed at bringing more space between God and man so that they will never seek God. There are scriptures that prohibit the preaching of the Gospel to these sort.

None of these things are going to be allowed at any church I attend.

Care to try and slander me again?

I'm not who you are thinking I am whatsoever.

Speaking earlier as one that embraces reformed theology did not help your cause.

If you were going to recommend a preacher to someone new in the Lord
wanting to learn more about Christianity, WHO would you recommend to them?

I do not and have not ever embraced reformed theology. The only way the subject for me has come up is discussing the history of the English translation of scriptures. That's just history....I don't necessarily like all that has happened but I can't change it. Besides God was in control and was working towards his own aims for his own purposes. And was largely successful in spite of man's efforts to thwart his plans.

Depends upon where they live. I got friends everywhere and they have friends even further covering the globe.

If they live near me I'd take them with me on Sunday. I got a nice welcoming church where the pastor teaches and preaches an evangelistic sermon every Sunday. Then we have a Sunday School class immediately following where we do more. (None of which is calvinistic in nature)
Wednesday nights another Men's group study addressing men's issues. (Not as enthralled with that one but I like the guys I meet there but again, not calvinistic)

You should not make false accusations

Using talking points that liberals use leads others to believe they are liberals.

Using talking points that reformed theology uses leads others to believe they follow reformed theology

You can grasp the concept right?

Besides, I'm running across a lot of folk that claim they do not follow reformed theology but actually embrace certain tenants that come from reformed theology.

Kinda like when someone says they aren't a calvinist and then tells others they believe a few things calvinists teach all while claiming they are not calvinists.

This is all due to the majority of churches having corrupted with false doctrine as God's Word tells us will happen in the end times.
