It is a proven fact that scientists can look at the chromosomes of a baby that is born with both parts and determine by genetics what they were suppose to be born as. Instead of letting the genetics decide the choice is left up to the parents.

Please explain what a hermaphrodite is then? he physical anomaly that someone born with both sexual organs (ie penis and vagina). Who is to say that someone who is gay could not be born with a mental anomaly to causes them to be attracted to the same sex?
That seems rather speculative at this point. It would have no effect on biblical views of sexuality though.

No where in the bible does it say children are sinners. I can not agree with you. Jesus would not tell us to be like the little children if they were sinners or born in sin. he died to wash away our sins so why would he live and tell us to be what he gave up his life for?
Actually, the bible is quote clear on this subject.

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.
Romans 5:18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for ALL MEN, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.
Ephesians 2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
Genesis 8:21 And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
Psalm 14:2-3 The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.
Job 15:14 What is man, that he can be pure? Or he who is born of a woman, that he can be righteous?
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
Also, you had mentioned that Jesus was born and didn't have sin. That is true, but you forgot he was not born of man's seed. He was born of a woman to become incarnate, but Mary was a virgin. He was fully God, fully man.

Your logic doesn't seem possible. At what point do babies become evil and haters of God as Romans chapter 1 supports?

Note: I'm not trying to be ugly or rude, just questioning. :)

Are Children Born In Sin?
Many religious groups teach as a cardinal doctrine that children are born is sin, totally depraved, as wicked as can be. John Calvin started with the premise that sin is inherited from Adam, and upon this foundation he built the entire system we know as Calvinism. Is this premise true? Is it the cast that the child you hold in your arms is a wicked, grievous sinner whose heart is as black as coal because of sin? If this premise is not true, then many religious beliefs and practices crumble to the ground along with their foundation. What does the Bible say?
Let us first notice some passages that are used to support the idea that children are born in sin. Many will point to Psalm 51:5 for support of this doctrine. However, a reading from a reliable translation (KJV, ASV, NKJV) will show that it was David’s mother (10 generations earlier) who was in sin, not David. Consider also the illegitimate child that David conceived with Bathsheba. The child died only seven days after he was born (II Sam. 13:18). Yet, David found comfort in knowing he would one day see his son again (13:23). If this child were born in sin, then David found comfort in knowing he would be in hell one day with his infant son! What kind of comfort would that be?
Another passage used to support this doctrine is Romans 3:23. This passage reads, “all have sinned.” Does this mean that every individual in the world has sinned? Sin is a transgression of God’s law (I Jn. 3:4), a working of unrighteousness (I Jn. 5:17). What law does a newborn infant transgress, or what unrighteous act does a newborn commit in being born that would warrant the label of a wicked, grievous sinner? Sin requires something to be done which is out of harmony with God’s will! An examination of the context of Romans 3 shows that Paul is attempting to show the Jews that they were no better than the Gentiles. All (both Jew and Gentile) have sinned.
All who have the knowledge of right and wrong, and who know the repercussions of their wrong-doing realize that there have been times when they have done things that God would not want them to do. All who are accountable for their actions before God find themselves under the condemnation of sin. However, there are individuals whom God does not consider accountable. Among this number would be those who have mental disabilities which make it impossible for them to determine right from wrong. Also included in this number would be infants and young children. To condemn one would be to condemn the other.
The Bible truth is that children are born free from sin. It is only after individuals transgress God’s law, even though he/she knows that one should not, that an individual stands as a sinner before God. Lord willing, we will examine some Bible passages that show that it is not possible for a child to inherit the sin of Adam. The Bible shows children to be pure and innocent. Those that advocate that children are born in sin say that a child inherits sin from his parents, and that ultimately from Adam. However, a reading of Ezekiel 18, particularly verse 20, destroys this idea. The word of God clearly states that the son shall not bear the iniquity (sin) of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. Ezekiel was given these words from God because Israel was misusing an old proverb to shun their personal responsibility for their own actions. The proverb is this: “The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge” (18:2). In an attempt to justify their wicked actions, the children of Israel twisted this proverb to place the blame upon their forefathers. Now, it is true that the things we do now may have a significant impact upon others long after we are dead (Consider those who through drug use have passed on deadly diseases to their offspring.). However, the Lord rebuked the Israelites for their attempt to blame their sinful actions upon their forefathers. The words of the Lord as recorded in Ezekiel 18:20 strike at the very heart of this wicked thought. The truth of the matter is that man is responsible for his own actions.
Another passage we need to note is Matthew 18:1-6. In this discourse, Jesus dealt with the character of those who would enter the kingdom. Notice the words of Jesus: “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Mt.18:3). If it is true that babies and young children are nothing more than wicked, grievous sinners, then all who desire to enter the kingdom must become such. Is this the make-up of the kingdom of God? Certainly not, for wicked, grievous sinners will not be allowed into the eternal abode of the faithful (Rev.21:8, 27). The fact remains that we must become as little children if we are to enter into the kingdom of heaven. What does this mean? Jesus used the child to show the characteristics of the child of God. Little children manifest a simple, loving trust. They are humble, and so quick to forgive. They are innocent, and obedient. These attributes which so fittingly characterize a little child must be present in the lives of those who wish to enter the kingdom of heaven. If little babies are totally depraved, then this object lesson offered by our Lord makes no sense.
Many other passages could be offered to show the Bible truth that children are born pure and innocent, but I believe these will suffice. The damnable doctrine that man is born totally depraved is just another futile attempt on man’s part to place blame for his actions elsewhere. The Bible truth is that we are responsible for our own actions, and one day we will answer for the sins we have committed, not the sins of someone else. -Patrick Morrison

Are We Born Sinners?
By Jon W. Quinn

It is a fundamental part of Calvinism, and therefore found in the official doctrines and histories of most Protestant churches. But not only that, it is also an integral part of Catholicism. One Catholic theologian put it this way; he said, “...all men except Jesus and His blessed mother are born subject to death and deprived of grace...”
The Protestant reformers, including Luther and Calvin, included the idea in their creeds as well. For this reason, Catholic and many Protestant denominations practice infant baptism. At least originally, the practice began as a way to save the infant from spiritual and everlasting condemnation due to the sins he or she inherited from their parents at birth.
Essentially, this doctrine holds that sin is inherited; that a child is lost in sin at birth and a child is totally depraved at birth. When it is pointed out that Jesus was born of Mary, it is explained that Jesus did not inherit sin because Mary was sinless (this in spite of the fact that the Bible plainly tells of Mary offering her sin offerings according to the Law; (see Luke 2:22-24 and Leviticus 5:7-13). When asked how it was that Mary was born without inheriting sin, the answer is that Mary, herself, was “immaculately conceived.” The Scriptures nowhere teach anything like this at all.
The doctrine that we are born in sin is a false doctrine, pure and simple. It contradicts plain Bible passages concerning the nature of sin and the definition of sin. We see this in the teaching of God's prophet Ezekiel, for example. The Spirit inspired Ezekiel to teach;. "The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.” (Ezekiel 18:20). The creeds of men say the son does bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, but the word of God says he does not. The choice is ours as to which to believe.

Passages Used By Those Who Believe We Are Born In Sin
There must be some defense that is offered from the Bible to advance such teaching. Of course, even Satan will misuse Scripture to his own ends. The question is, “Does the Bible teach that we are born in sin” not “Can I force the doctrine into a passage?” Let's take a brief look at the best defenses of the doctrine that are offered. If there is any merit to it at all, this is where we will find it.
1) (Psalm 51:5) “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.” This is from a Psalm of David after his sin with Bathsheba. It deals with the sin of an adult, and shows the repentance of an adult (vs. 10-13). David does not say he was a “sinner baby” but rather that his mother conceived him in sin. Read it again and see! David was born into a sinful world. Sin was all around him from birth, so he was 'brought forth in iniquity.” The Jewish writers who wrote of this Psalm say the same thing.; David is saying that he was born into a sinful environment.
2) (Psalm 58:3) “The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.” First, note that if these people were born astray then they could not “go astray from birth.” Infants are born into a sinful world with their eyes and ears wide open. They are so inquisitive, beginning to learn immediately through taste, touch, sound, sight and smell. They are watching, and they see evil all around them constantly from birth. They may not know it is evil yet, but it is there and it does influence them. The clincher is this: the ones going astray speak lies, so the going astray has to be accomplished, at the very least, only after the person has learned to speak!
3) (Ephesians 2:3) “Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.” What made these people “children of wrath”? Was it something they inherited or something they had done? Verses 1 and 2 help us to answer that question. “And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world...” They were “by nature” what they were. “Nature” here does not refer to constitutional character but rather to habit... sin became natural, or we sometimes say, “second nature” to them by their long and diligent practice of it.

Passages Which Contradict The Concept of Being Born in Sin
1) (Matthew 18:3) "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Jesus said we must become converted and like little children. He would not tell us to do this if children were truly born totally depraved. If they were born as totally depraved that would mean that there is nothing in them that is not depraved and therefore we should not become like children in any sense. But Jesus said there was something in children that we need to take as our example (their humility). This passage shows that children are not born totally depraved (see also Psalm 106:36-39).
2) (Hebrews 12:9) “Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?” Here, God is referred to as the “Father of spirits.” While we inherit our physical attributes from our physical parents, our inner person, our spirit, we get from God. Our spirit is created 'in His image.” If we are born totally depraved, then we are depraved in body and spirit. If that is the case, then we inherit our sinful, depraved spirits from God! But in God there is no evil, and therefore none to pass on to us.
3) (2 Timothy 3:13) “But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” If we were born totally depraved, then we could not get worse.
4) (Luke 8:15) “...these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.” If total depravity is true, then there is no such thing as “good and honest” hearts.

One final point. God defines sin for us. It is not something inherited, nor does He define it as something we are born with. Lord, what is sin? God answers: “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.” (1 John 3:4). Sin is not something we are born with; it is something we do. When we break God's law, we sin. The good news is that the gospel of Christ is the power of God to take away our sins.

Are Children Born Sinners?
By Aaron Beard
While scrolling through the religious channels on television one can often find "infant baptism services." There are so many denominations who teach that an infant needs to be baptized because they are born in sin. This idea is often referred to as "Total Inherited Depravity." It is the very first tenant of Calvinism, a doctrine that affects almost every denomination in some form or another. The doctrine of "Total Inherited Depravity" put simply states that the sins of Adam are passed from generation to generation. It states that a child is born a sinner apart from any actions of his own.
This idea was systemized by the followers of a man named John Calvin. He rose up in 1536 in opposition to the Roman Catholic Church, being disgusted by "salvation by works". The concept that children are born in sin, however, is much older than John Calvin. It was an idea that was even prominent among the children of Israel! God comes to Ezekiel and says, "What do you mean when you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, "The fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge?" (Ezek. 18:2). The Lord continues by saying, "As I live, says the Lord God, you shall no longer use this proverb in Israel." (verse 3). It is already evident that God was displeased with the children of Israel for going along with this idea.
In the remainder of Ezekiel 18, the Lord expounds upon why this proverb is false and should not be uttered. The Lord said, "... the soul that sins shall die. But if a man is just and does what is lawful and right... if he has walked in My statutes and kept My judgments faithfully--He is just; he shall surely live!" (verses 4,5,9). God sets forth here that one stands condemned to die not because of his physical birth, but rather due to his disobedience to His will. In verses 10-14, the Lord says that if the righteous father has a son who goes against His will, then the son "shall surely die, his blood shall be upon him." Next, God says that if that wicked son has a son who "has executed My judgments, and walked in My statutes--He shall not die for the iniquity of his father; he shall surely live!" (verse 17). A child is not responsible for the sins of his father, nor is a father responsible for the sins of his son. Each one is responsible for his own actions.
If children are born in sin, then why would the scriptures use children to symbolize Christians so often? It seems like the scriptures would do the opposite! What is found throughout the New Testament is the idea that Christians are like "little children." 1 John 5:2 says, "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments." This description of Christians is used repeatedly in God's word. Jesus even used it Himself when he said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." (Mark 10:14-15). Little children are not born in sin, but rather are innocent and pure before God.
How then is the spiritual death that was brought into this world by Adam passed upon all men? Paul makes the answer to this clear by saying, "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned..." (Romans 5:12). Spiritual death does not pass upon men through birth, but is rather passed upon men through sin. Man does not stand condemned before God because of Adam's sins but because of his own sins.
The Lord sums it all up by saying, "The soul that sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself." (Ex. 18:20). How much plainer could the Lord say that a child is not born in sin?

Which the bible still condemns sexual immorality, including homosexuality. Having physically malformed genitals is unfortunate, but it is a result of a fallen world.

Please explain what a hermaphrodite is then? he physical anomaly that someone born with both sexual organs (ie penis and vagina). Who is to say that someone who is gay could not be born with a mental anomaly to causes them to be attracted to the same sex?
most parents chose a sex and have the other removed and hormonal treatment begun at birth. God is Spirit we are called to be children of God not children of FLESH.

Matthew 5:30
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

The Question was If homosexuality a sin a person who is a hermaphrodite can choose to marry a dude or a woman.. but U cant consider it immorality as its with one person woman or man doesnt matter... but that person becomes homo-sexual and straight at the same time... So y would Bible or God condemn someone who was born in a deformed way? according to ur exposition of the Bible if homo-sexuality a sin then God is kinda not doing justice over here. God is just. So y would he condemn a hermaphrodite who has no fault. That person didn choose to be born that way..

Too much to address at once, so I'll let these others do it. That, and I have a quiz I must do soon and can't spend much time typing paragraphs right now.

A hermaphrodite is a person who possesses the sexual organs of both male and female. The Bible does not address hermaphroditism. Therefore, it is difficult to ascertain doctrinally the Lord's position about them. Nevertheless, what are we to make of hermaphrodites?

God's intention of the genders is that those born males act like males and those born females act like females. But, in rare instances there are babies born with the sexual organs of both sexes. Why is this? First of all, sin is in the world and it sometimes takes its tolls on our bodies resulting in various deformities. Nevertheless, in the case of hermaphroditism, the identity of the individual is still intended by God to be one or the other. After all, God would not make someone in contradiction to His created order and purpose. This means the hermaphrodite, thought physically ambiguous, does possess an identity of one or the other. It would seem best, then, to let the hermaphrodite grow and decide with which gender to side since he/she would know his/her own identity internally. If surgery is elected to make the decision permanent by altering the body to represent one or the other gender, then that seems like a reasonable choice to make

Second, it appears that most, if not all, hermaphrodites have a definite side they take as they develop since there is an internal genetic (XX, XY) dominance even though there is an external ambiguity. It is the internal genetic dominance that determines male and female -- even though sometimes mutations occur that leave both sexual organs. In some cases, there are hermaphrodites who are distinctly male in appearance yet have female sexual organs. There are also those who appear decidedly feminine in physical appearance yet possess male sexual organs. Either way, the genetic dominance is the gender and the person will manifest that dominance as he or she matures.

What about hermaphrodites? | Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry <--- click

After the Flood, human life spans grew progressively shorter, indicating a change in the environment which resulted in damage to the human genetic structure. This also explains why incest was necessary for the population of the earth in Genesis, but was forbidden later in the laws of Leviticus (verses 18:6-18). Now, thousands of years later as sin continues to permeate the world, the human race has been bombarded with every kind of sickness, disease, disorder and birth defect we can imagine.

Babies are not born with physical disorders to punish their parents in any way. Although God created the earth perfectly, it soon brought destruction upon itself with the onset of human sin (Romans 5:12). Before the Flood in Genesis chapter 7 that wiped out almost all living things on the earth, people had the potential to live for several hundred years.

What does the Bible say about hermaphrodites? <--- click

No where in the bible does it say children are sinners. I can not agree with you. Jesus would not tell us to be like the little children if they were sinners or born in sin. he died to wash away our sins so why would he live and tell us to be what he gave up his life for?
Everyone was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. But sin is not imputed where there is no law. Anyone who knows to do good and does not do it is a transgressor of the law. God is just and he will not impute sin to a child who does not know the difference between good and evil. In the same way he will not impute sin to someone who has a brain dysfunction that will not allow them to choose between good and evil. God tries the reigns of the heart, he knows the truth.

A pastor came up to me while I was at work, I don't know if he was testing me or not, so I will not say he is guilty, he is a pastor, he is judged by God. However, he said tried to compare a justification of sin with people in the special Olympics. I said, yeah that is the special Olympics, but we are not in the special Olympics. So God will know how to deal with each person individually.

I don't think people who are born strait can say if people are born gay or not. only a gay person would know. I know that alot of gay people wish they were strait, and alot of gay people end up committing suicide from being persecuted. there shouldn't be anything sinful about having gay feeling you can't control, it would only be sinful if you acted on the feelings.

what is the difference between the SPIRIT and the FLESH?

When is one born of the Flesh and when is one born of the Spirit?

Whose children will you be? Satan/flesh or God's/ spirit.

For they are at war people. chose your side. All God's children should stand united not cutting up pieces of each other and devouring their hearts and spirits and self esteem with our cutting words.

Therefore, Here is a sword. which side do YOU fall on? (rhetorical question between you and God but if you want you can answer it)
Pray for GRACE for we can not walk the path of righteousness alone, we NEED the guidance of the HOLY Spirit.

Galatians 5
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Indeed that may be true but it seems we have both stated our cases and yet have not come to an agreement. Since we both think we are right i'd rather not spend time debating with you over and over using the same scriptures that i already have. It is pointless to argue with a brick wall. so i hope you have a great day!
