I was banned from 'The Elder Scrolls Online' as a homophobe (despite being wholly unafraid of people who choose to engage in homosexual acts) for stating that homosexuality is not a suitable replacement for heterosexuality and listing historically documented negative impacts upon societies and civilizations that legally put homosexuality on equal footing with heterosexuality so you won't find me there anymore lol.

The Lord of the Rings Online didn't ban me for being honest but it's not as clean as ESO.

I thought War in the North was really awesome despite the buggy programming. That would have been a great program to expand but alas they did a one off with it and moved on.

Haven't played the others. Mostly I'm working and popping in and posting when I have a few free minutes. When I do play, I'm doing the farming simulator right now. If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to buy a farm and go into farming. Love that game.

I like rpg and action/adventure... so, to name a few...

- Skyrim
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Dragon Age series
- Assassin's Creed series (except Rogue)
- Kingdoms of Amalur
- War in the North
- Shadows of Mordor
- The Witcher 3

Those are the ones I like best...

Why in the world would you choose ESO as a platform to go on some triade about homosexuality? People play games for fun not to be preached by some Nord/Argonian, whatever race you played.

You're projecting a narrative at me which isn't true despite your inclusion of a question mark. I was playing the game and in the course of playing the game responded to other players who were touting homosexuality as a suitable replacement for heterosexuality.

They were on a tirade about homosexuality in chat and I responded to them (instead of reporting them to the mods for it as turning people in for free speech in games isn't something I do even though some others choose to do it as often as they possibly can) after which these homosexuals schemed together and reported me to the mods as a "homophobe" for correcting their erroneous statements regarding their immoral lifestyle and I was banned as a "homophobe" because I publicly opposed homosexuality on ESO chat when I corrected their erroneous statements.

I wrote an email to ESO appealing their decision but they informed that they their policy is to ban anyone who publicly opposes homosexuality in chat during gameplay even simply by using the word "gay" one time in a manner THEY deem derogatory (whether or not done so in reality).

I opposed homosexuals who were making false assertions about homosexuality being a suitable replacement for heterosexuality and I was banned for it by a company that is aggressively pro-homosexual. That's what happened. It's as simple as that. Don't invent false narratives that portray others in a negative light and project them at people as its a form of slander/libel.

So much for "diverse thinking" eh? One less reason for me to play The Elder Scrolls Online.

ESO is rabidly pro-homosexual and will not allow any dissension from their position or contrary positions period. They will allow diversity within that narrow band, however. For example, you may promulgate various forms of homosexuality such as transvestitism, transsexualism pre or post-op, or just straight homosexuality publicly to your heart's content without any problem whatsoever. What you may not do; however, is express a godly moral contrary position.

Totalitarianism is about diverse as the progressive left gets. Don't confuse the progressive left with older classical liberalism which actually were liberal and not totalitarian.

100 years from now, nobody will care nor remember. IF you really want to know desparately what video games everyone is playing, there is a chatroom for video games..and other related topics...however..I read the word "CHRISTIAN CHAT" when I enter this website and to be totally true.....then the topics related to "CHRISTIAN" should also be related to CHRIST and how HE would view the topic. In reality, JESUS does not promote video games at this moment. So sorry to burst your bubble.

No bubbles burst here. Just more self righteous, angry rants devoid of love or a genuine desire to see people do better. Just a demand that they follow the strict set of rules you implemented in the name of God. I mean, they're your rules. You just use God's name to justify treating others like crap.

Oh, and the site owner... the one who decides what is and is not acceptable discussions on this site, he has no problem with these topics on his site. So regardless of your opinion it's not your decision to go around barking at others like some rabid mutt what they can and can't talk about. Sorry to burst your self righteous bubble.

I've never been a video game type of person, but the closest would have to be The Sims 3 PC. A former friend introduced me to it and I was so hooked when first playing. It is a cute game, but not cute enough to waste a lot of time over.

And...I don't expect anything that I say to matter 100 years from now, let alone for it to matter by tomorrow...

That's the tragic irony behind it. A tolerant/liberal society is a society that welcomes all forms of thinking. Regardless of it being popular or unpopular. What is being pushed now is no such thing, rather a society where the popular opinion wins. Those that disagree get looked down on.

I also spend time considering how healthy it is spending the amount of time in our entertainment and devices that we spend, when life is about living with God. It is something I struggle with, too. And not just video games, but tv, radio, internet, cars, phones, any of these things that we spend time and money on, and make a daily part of our life.
And I also once played games religiously, Id get magazines, and keep up with what was coming out and save up every penny I had to make sure I could get them, and Id even go as far as to spend time not playing a game thinking about these games :p

I do think that all of these things we use as entertainment can serve as idolatry, and I have been thinking alot more on these things, too.

Okay, that being said and all, I /do/ enjoy videogames, yes :p My all time favorite game, Rune Factory :3 If youve ever played Harvest Moon, its a game thats taken from that, and turned into a fantasy adventure rpg.
Its basically a fantasy life sim, like being the hero of some fantasy story living your every day life, building a home, falling in love, getting married, making your living, and going off to fight baddies :p Its a way great game series, Im playing Rune Factory 4 for 3ds right now, a friend got it for me as a birthday gift :3

I mostly like JRPGs, and farming and life simulators, I dont really play much else :p And I mostly just play games on Nintendo consoles, though I play Playstation at times, and even had a 360 with one game I really liked for it :p

I don't like games that are too "serious".
Like, my husband plays a lot of Destiny, which has amazing graphics but it's just too serious for me.
I like games like Rayman, Sonic, Kirby, Yoshi's Island, Spyro, Child of Light, Ni no Kuni...the fun, light-hearted stuff :)
