It is possible, i live it. i do nothing at all to displease my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. i do not knowingly and/or willingly obey satan in anything at all. When i am tempted i immediately read the Bible or go into prayer for Jesus to help me. i stay away from anything that might cause me or tempt me to sin against Him. i have given up my life because He gave up His life for me. i no longer do what i want to do, i do what He wants me to do. i will have plenty of time to do what i want to do when i get to Heaven, but right now, i am His servant, i do as He wants me to do. He leads me not into temptation.

It is Jesus in me, which gives me the Strength and the Power to not sin against Him. i love Him more than the sin. Those who continue to live in sin, love the sin more then Jesus, because if they loved Jesus more then the sin, they would find some way to cease from doing that sin, would they not?

God told me one day, this is what He said word for Word "There is no sin that you do, that you can't cease from" This statement from Him, made me run from God for many years. i was not willing to cease from sinning, i wanted to believe in easy Christianity, where i can continue to live in sins, and still think i am going to Heaven. How is that the narrow and difficult path that leads to Life Everlasting? Its not. The narrow and difficult path is getting sin our of your life, getting rid of that sin that so easily besets you. this is the Struggle, this is why it is extremely hard to walk the narrow path, this is why only a very few will find it. Few as in one in maybe a hundred thousand.

What if Jesus told you to "Go and Sin No More" This generation would not believe Him. If prophets were to live today, and they do, and they teach to Go and Sin No More, see how fast they are mocked and not believed to be a prophet at all, not because they teach things that are contrary to the Word of God, but because they teach things that are contrary to what men teach in the last days, making excuses for their sinning instead of ceasing from them, How will they escape the wrath of God?

^i^
DD if i recall....you claim to be a prophet to whom God has revealed specifically new revelation.

Perfection in this life is impossible. Have you met anyone perfect?
It is so sad to me that you resist God's truth, and continue in your sin
I never heard anyone say that we are righteous of ourselves. However if you continue in sin you are not righteous at all, but bound for Hell, unless you repent
"If we confess our sins (REPENT OF THEM) He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."
What part of 'all' don't you understand, sinfree? :)
Covered ! By the precious blood of Jesus. Born of God, one does NOT sin, ever. So, stick that in your judgmental truth box and let it wrestle around in there a bit, gonna be kind of like Jacob wrestling with an 'Angel,', I'll warn you, sinfreed ;)

Wow guys! I guess this goes to show that you can study the Bible for hours on end, for years on end but that if you don't read God's Word in context and with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can pull any false teaching you want out of your glutinous maximus.

That does not happen unless you wash your robe and make them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14 "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

I am concerned for you that you do not understand how that is done. What you describe is but an empty meaningless claim to love God and his Son.

Your faith is worthless without works to justify it as James has well told you. But so also did Christ.

Faith is what saves but faith must also produce the works which prove it is real in your heart motivated by genuine love of God which has such power in you that it compels good works of you and protects from evil works. Ponder James words. Paul even tells you this over and over again. Every New Testament writer tells you this.

I'm sorry but that's wishful thinking.

Actually it is exactly what God says through the Apostle John in His Word

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God does not sin

Wow, there you have it, those who are born again do not sin, per God Himself

This is the straightest talk in the Bible of how God makes a person sinfree, sinless, holy, walk in His statutes. And He will be these people's GOD!

Ezekiel 36:25 to 27.
Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Spotless clean by God Himself.... WOW! And to KEEP THIS CLEAN HE CHANGES THE INSIDE OF THIS CLEAN VESSEL.

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
If God change the heart, the stony heart is GONE, and ALL THE SIN WITH IT... It has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAW. The New Spirit knows how to live a sinfree life, a life in Truth and Spirit. A life God refer to as GODLY and PERFECT. I will not dare calling such a person a sinner....

Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Not only is this vessel clean and filled with GOD'S Spirit and heart, but it will now ONLY LIVE TO SERVE GOD.

If you cannot see the difference God makes to His Children here in this text, I feel realy sorry for you. It is as clear as daylight, as GODLIGHT, that God makes people perfect for HIMSELF!!!

1Ki_8:46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

2Ch_6:36 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;

Ecc_7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

1 John 5:16-18 is about eternal life. Verse 16 tells us quite clearly that we can sin and that there is a sin unto death, by which he means blasphemy. John then goes on to say all unrighteousness (immorality) is sin but whoever is born again (v18) shall inherit eternal life. Our unrighteousness which is sin, is blotted out as though it never happened (justification).

We do sin but it is not counted against us and we are sanctified (set apart and made holy). Even though we are sinners and continue to sin we are saved by the grace of God from eternal damnation and will enter into His presence in Glory.

Like David we might still sin, but it is Christ within us who cleanses us from all sin.

Clearly these perfectionist are preaching what they have been taught and have not studied the word for himself. That is a huge problem among Christians. Before the king james, people had to rely on what the priest told them. Sadly today we are still doing that. In fact in the last church of revelation, Jesus is on the outside knocking trying to get in and appeals to the individual.

Perfection, yeah right. Where does the prodigal son fit. Where does Romans 7 fit. where does most of the word fit. Paul said I turned him over to Satan that his soul MIGHT be saved.

I would agree with that conditionally. It is not quite all that black and white. And you can take it to the bank when I tell that I have not relied on any man to teach me. I have in fact been hated by many a man for refusing to go along with their college educated non-sense which is but a worldly way of passing on the illusion by a carnal diploma of knowing something that only God's holy spirit coupled to one's personal dedication to studying the scriptures can cause to be so.

For anyone to say that perfection of spirit is not achievable in this lifetime is both a twisting of scripture and a mockery of faith.

Readers beware, they are preaching another Jesus and not the one of the bible. We are saved by the work of the cross and by that only if we place our faith in it. If we take our faith off of that, then we are once again controlled by sin and are in danger of losing our salvation. We can be sanctified, but only if our faith is firmly in the cross which allows the Holy Spirit to work in us producing good fruit. There is no other way. You are not perfect by any means and I tell you the truth. Your flesh will always rise against the spirit. We must stay focused on the cross. I know many preachers hardly talk about it any more, but it is the foundation of Christianity. Most will say try harder, read more, pray more. The only victory over sin is the blood of Jesus. Not forty days of purpose, not a 21 Daniel fast, Not going through some other fad that churches constantly come up with. If you want to find God and get closer to Him. It will be on your knees and study of His word.

This new theology that we can sin and not be sinners is just plain confusing. Jesus said,

Joh 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Joh 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

According to Jesus those who sin are slaves to sin.

I don't know about you but I have found Jesus to be more powerful and able to free me from sin. It is by his power in us that this is done. When we have His seed in us we will be born again and sin not.

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

If we are born of God we do what? We don't sin why? Because its Jesus seed living in us. Not of our works but His works in us.

1Pe 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Peter said that if we suffer in the flesh as Christ suffered in the flesh then we will cease from sin. That means stop sinning.

These scriptures are plain, instead of arguing and twisting scripture to try and say something else. your time would be better spent searching the scripture to see how you can have this wonderful freedom in Christ. Ill give you a hint. Resurrection must be proceeded by death.

Blessings.

Gotime, do you completely understand the perfection that God requires. No sin can enter his presence, not one. That is why we must rely on the cross. The cross is the only thing the Father sees, if our faith is in it. We sin daily whether we know it or not. We are not ruled by sin. But our flesh daily confronts us. When we see a beautiful girl or buy a lottery ticket or we hold back from giving. We need the cross and the cross will sanctify us, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone should use extreme prudence in posting about the salvation of others, and I believe I speak for all when I say, "Especially mine!"
