Duhhhh,, i thought everybody was evil with the exception of Jesus and Marines... You post is nothing more than an intended insult towards me. I think your undestanding sucks,,, I think all parties here KNOW that only God is NOT Evil... So,, you should quit speculating as to what knowledge another person has... Nobody said that anybody other than Jesus is not evil.
You balked at the notion the marines could possible be evil, and mocked it. I think you might want to apologize, and not to me.

I've learned real quick,, that all the litle reputation marks mean nothing.
Pretty much.

Just because someone has several, doesn't mean anything other than they are still evil.. So,, take your comment that says " when you understand that, you will understand more about the gospel than you do now." and stick it you know where.
Please notice the big bold letter.

The marines are evil, as are you, as are zone, as are rick, as are I. When you understand that, you will understand more about the Gospel than you seem to have thus far.

What does it say about people who find issue with the simple statement "Jesus wants to save Palestinians?"

If it had said Jesus wants to save Americans, or Canadians, or Australians, there wouldn't be such a strong reaction.

I think the presence of such a reaction, indicates something very dark within some Christians.

The statement that Jesus wants to save Palestinians shouldn't provoke these types of dark feelings such as are being expressed in this thread.

Then what was the intention of the statement?

I think the subtext of some of the responses in this thread, is that some Christians are hostile to the concept of Palestinians being loved by and saved by Jesus. If people are comfy with this concept, then why such a strong negative reaction to it? The answer to that question is that some aren't comfortable with the idea. And if Christians aren't happy/joyful with this idea, then they don't have the same desires and heart as Jesus.

Michael served his country to the point of his life.
He fought for his country.
Cannot even the simplest semblance of grace be shown to him?
Is it asking too much to reason, and not accuse?

Is it a hard thing to understand?
That someone engaged in life and death warfare would have strong views?
I've noticed he's been on the site a much shorter time than the rest of us.
So why pile on?
What purpose does it serve?
W.W.J.D.?

If one is wrong I think Jesus would convey why it is wrong with love.....the opposite of what has been done here.

I think unknowingly, Christians have turned Palestinians, and Arabs into some lower class of people, just like the Jews did to Samaritans. This has created a hostility to the mere reality that Jesus wants them saved and included in the family of God too.

I respect the fact that he has the courage, and other items necessary to serve in that capacity. I know, that I myself though a relatively healthy young lad would not last through boot camp.

It is the nationalism that purposes to make the Gospel serve national interests, rather than God's glory that bothers me.

"If one is wrong here?"
Everyone was wrong here!
This was a friggin' disgrace!
The Shia's and the Sunni's had more peace than what went on here!
This was a bloodbath in the Name of Christ.
We need to show each other more grace, because if we don't it WILL be required of us.
We think this is fun? Wait until all of our words will be required of us.

We need to step back and reevaluate how we deal with each other, - (because it will be required of us).

You asked WWJD and I replied, I didn't say "if one is wrong here"
anyway I agree with you, it was a disgrace..

I don't think this thread was about land...I think it was about salvation, to the Jew first then gentile. And Still waters is right... they have a right to Gods blessings just as we do.
Because of Abrahams faith many nations are blessed, Jew and gentile alike.

there you go statin the obvious.
Your post seemed ambiguous to me whether you were referring to saved or unsaved Palestinians. If saved, of course they are a new creation in Christ...all things have become new. If you were referring to unsaved Palestinians in your OP then obviously I wouldn't agree.

You're not big on monergism I see.
I'm kind of half way to being a Calvinist. Like George Whitfield, the great evangelist that help start the Great Awakening in Britain and the British Colonies (Read USA) and who was a Calvinist, I still see the need to preach the gospel. Because like it or not, it is in the Bible, and hyper-Calvinist do not have the last say.

"For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. [SUP]13 [/SUP]For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[SUP]14 [/SUP]How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? [SUP]15 [/SUP]And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” [SUP]16 [/SUP]But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” [SUP]17 [/SUP]So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." Romans 10:12-17

Which does bring us back to the topic of this thread. We do need to take the gospel to the Palestinians, as well as the Jews. Because there is no Plan B for the Jews!

I do believe God is in control, just to clarify!

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

I have no freedom, apart from that which Christ has won, and the father given through the spirits regeneration.

Romans 6:5-7
5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
you have the freedom to preach the Gospel without incrimination unlike most Muslim ruled countries.

This may be true to an extent but the backlash need not be antisemitism either.
