Tell me how Matt, Mk, and Lk, define the last days.
Mark 13:
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory
This is the part that is easy to see. You have the subject of Christ return here..
Acts 1:11
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Mark 13:
1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
( note that the west wall of the temple still stands to this very day .The wall also gos down into the foundation underground. They are massive stones. )
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
They are asking Him to tell them, about when is the end of the world and His return.
They are then taught seven, signs , that would consumate then end of the age & Christ return to this earth . In verse 19 Christ tells us of the significance these events:
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. ( A roman general Titus did not fulfill this )
When you get into the Seven events Christ teaches, it starts to then come together ;God's plan for these end days. You can even aline, the seven signs you watch for, to come to pass: They aline with the seven seals written of in the Book of Revelation also. From top to bottom.
