Would you rather me word it in a way that it takes 20 plus words to explain but the same meaning comes across?

arrogant - having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities.
moron - a stupid person

So you think that you are above people like me that are unsure of God / Jesus If you don't believe in the theory of evolution I would not call you a moron I would accept that as your own opinion

This is what I said verbatim
Thirdly if you say you are glad you don't worship a God that considers you to be a bad person, I am sorry but you are a arrogant moron infused with pride... You might say how dare a Christian judge someone, and again I would point you to read the scripture...

I never referred you to my intellect, in fact I hold myself at average at best... But I held you to your own intellect (EDIT: If you don't believe reread the first post on page two)... But I am sad to say that I thought you were intellectual enough to not take a comment out of context...

yet you tried to go for that low blow...

how can anybody know that the bible is true when it was written so long ago with many different versions all contradicted each other. It is also not the only ancient religious book that has been written so why not believe them, surely some one is wrong. How do you know that Buddhism,Islam, Hinduism or maybe one of the Greek gods (Zeus, Apollo Posidian) or maybe a Norse god (viking).

P.S. please no " you need to have faith" or "your wrong because it is/isn't in the bible" answer
Lol, The Bible doesn't contradict itself (even in different versions)
Which contradiction has you confused?

Also, you need to look at the other worldviews--Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism etc. They need to answer some basic principles of science--and frankly, they CAN'T.
Christianity is both historically accurate, and it's also SCIENTIFICALLY the most reasonable and logical. All the other religions aren't adequate when they TRY to explain where the earth came from.

How can anybody know? By looking at the facts. <333
Questions? ask away! <3

1. I do not think I have taken what you have said out of context
2. I do not see how you could sum me up us a arrogant morron infused with pride from to comments I could refer to use a narrow minded ignorant fool but I do not really know you
3. I didn't say I did not worship God what I was trying to say is that if the bible is correct as in what Gods about then I would not want to worship him at the end of the day he gave me free will. what would be the point in giving us free will is it to test and punish us if we got it all wrong. Is our lives a game to him I do not understand and I do not think you do either. You may have read every piece of scripture there is that doesn't mean you have understood it.
4. who said that i was an interlectural all the points reffering to the bible I have got off people on this forum

Lol, i've read that the Earth is round in the Bible.
In fact, the Bible was the first support for a "round earth" when people still believed in the flat earth theory a couple hundreds of years ago.
The Bible was also the first support for the Earth "hanging by nothing". Nothing is "holding" the Earth in the galaxy...
So, yes, i've read one of the two things you've mentioned, and the Bible is scientifically accurate--and it always has been! Even before scientists figured it out.

So then why do alot of christians strongly belivie that natral selection is a lie and why do they belive that the big bang is a lie when God could have created the big Bang himself we have alot of evidince to prove that these are facts are true just no evidence for what causes them to accure in the first place

Lol, i understand where you're coming from.
Let's first be more clear about this sort of stuff. XP

Natural Selection (in the form of Microevolution) is INDEED TRUE
however, when it comes down to Macroevolution (Darwinism and Evolution) it's NOT true. There is NO scientific evidence for ANY sort of "change in kind". There has only been evidence for a change in species.
(meaning...there is NO evidence whatsoever for a change--Dog to cat. Instead, Darwin only saw the change in species, etc--in the beak of the finches. The finches REMAINED FINCHES. they didn't turn into lizards, etc.)
So technically...Darwin made up all that based on a species that was adapting to circumstances. Adaptation and Evolution are TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.

Then, the Big Bang...
The Bible has NO evidence whatsoever for the Big Bang. Instead, it provides the fact that God created the world in 7 days.
Think about it. The Big Bang would have had to come from Nothing. Why would GOD create a Big Bang? If God exists (and we KNOW He does), why would HE write down in the Bible the way he created the world, and NOT FOLLOW THAT?
There is NO evidence in the Bible for a Big Bang. So....what has you confused? ^__^

Sooo.... You have failed to realize I was not judging you, but judging your words off of your own intellect... Okay then... The reasoning behind me saying you are a arrogant moron is because you fail to realize no matter how many times I point it out that you have no understanding of scripture... Let me put it this way, if you are taking a class about Shakespear and his influence on the 1900's literary culture through the works of Hamlet... And I walk in saying Shakespear did not write most of his plays, and he was a homosexual... Would that not classify me as a moron? Here I come barging into a class which I have yet to attend so I have no clue what the thesis is, and my most extensive knowledge about Shakespeare is some 6th grade rumors that we used to laugh about... Which also lead me to the arrogant part, but hopefully you can understand that by me holding that belief is arrogant in itself (I hope you realize I was using an analogy and I touched points 1 and 2 in this retort)
If the bible is correct, then you have no choice on whether or not you worship God... Because every knee will bow... That is scripture sir, which brings me back to my other point, you have yet to read the bible... You just regurgitate what you read from google... And to tell me I don't understand our purpose is also again a proof that you have yet to read scripture because our purpose is to Glorify God for ever and ever... you may laugh and say well I won't do that, and then you will point to how you are not doing it right now... And I will explain again that every knee will bow... And also ask why would He allow me to go against the whole glorifying Him right now. I would then explain the parable's and explain you are just some thorns or seed that won't grow... (Just to make clear I am not saying I am reading your mind, or that I am so intellectually superior that I can tell what you will say, I am just clarifying some basic arguments 99% of the people make)
4. who said that i was an interlectural all the points reffering to the bible I have got off people on this forum
I beg to differ because you came on with a intention to disprove the bible... Because you pointed out that there was some contradictions in the bible. So that means you have at least some minute amount of knowledge about it. Which also means you have a biased view regarding that the bible is fallible...
My words are in red...

The big bang has several components - some believe our universe came from another universe as well -

The big bang assumes stellar evolution as well - which is contrary to the order of Creation, as well as star formation etc

If you can find a good site that explains White Hole Creation theory you may find it interesting

Natural selection - how are you using it - to jump the gap into evolution - which is what Darwin did or - the natural genetic variations in the Kind level, that help Kinds adapt to the environment

The Bible does not say the Earth is flat. Some folks have taken colloquialisms such as "the ends of the earth" and "the four corners of the earth" (from Genesis and some of the books of the OT "minor" prophets) and used those things to mean something they do not. The Bible also uses the expression "gagging at gnats and swallowing camels", but the people were not really eating bugs and swallowing whole camels. :) It's just a saying, like a camel going through the eye of a needle. :)

The Bible also does not say that the earth is 10,000 years old. If you are sincerely seeking truth, you might find this interesting:
How old is the earth? - Answers in Genesis

Have you been given other so-called discrepancies? We would sincerely like to help. :)

If you are genuinely seeking truth as you say, you will find it if you seek it with your heart and not just your mind. If you want to understand things of the Spirit of God, you need to be of the Spirit of God. This is how Christians come to learn from the scriptures. Jesus told us that He would send the Holy Spirit to us who would teach us these things and help us to understand His teachings.

I would encourage you to begin reading the Bible on your own. Please do not take what others tell you it says to heart. There's a lot of junk out there.

Something to think about.... Do the people who are putting this information out there for you use the terms AD and BC when they talk about time? If they do, they are talking about the life of Christ. :)

The Bible is NOT 10,000 years old. Maybe 4000-5000 years old at most.

I am confused about what the OP wants. If you want archeology, try these links:

Archaeology and the Bible

Please Convince Me

But of course, the OP could have googled these things himself.

As far as the reliability of the Biblical text, just look at the Dead Sea Scrolls. They were written before the time of Christ. yet the almost complete version of the 66 books of Isaiah for example, are virtually identical to today, over 2000 years later. That means that God preserves his word.

I studied all the religions of the world before I became a Christian. Jesus was the only one who reached down to touch me. I knew I could never be good enough, work hard enough, meditate enough, dance, sing or do anything to make myself the type of person I knew God expected me to be.

I was a sinner saved by grace. God took away my drinking problem and it never came back. He restored my broken heart and soul. I have two university degrees which God helped and inspired me to study and get. I am a teacher, and a chaplain. I could never have done it without Christ.

I notice you probably do not have an advanced education, as evidenced by your many spelling mistakes! I do agree that you need to be a bit more humble when you come into a site where you are not a Christian, and somehow think you know more than those of us who have spent many years studying the Bible. I have read the Bible over 50 times, many versions, including ESV, NASB, HCSB, The Message, French, Greek, and some of the Old Testament in Hebrew. There are easy versions for people like the OP who does not have the education to understand the more difficult versions. Try the Good New Bible or the Living Bible. Eventually, you will understand enough to read the more literal versions which are harder.

My prayer is that instead of coming here and accusing and thinking you know more than people who can read in the original languages and find the translations to be satisfactory, that you take ANY ONE of those translations, and start reading it in the book of John. Then read Matthew, Mark and Luke. Then the rest of the New Testament. Then start on the Psalms in the Old Testament, the Narratives, and finally the prophets and the rest of the Writings.

Until your read the book you are complaining about, you really don't have any right to comment on it. I read the holy books of all the major religions of the world. I read the Bible before God saved me. I did not understand it. But the Holy Spirit helped me. I was able to understand the Bible because I met the author of the Book - Jesus Christ.

That is what you need - to meet Jesus Christ. But it won't happen until your repent of your arrogance and actually read and find out what the Bible says.

Sorry if I have missed anything. I love to talk to sincere seekers, but I doubt you are one!
