Yeshua will come...........Wait, He already DID come. If He lives in you, and you're a part of His Kingdom, then He's already "returned" That's the only "return" we need to worry about. The only "return" we need to be focused on and teaching is His "return" in the lost. If the Body spent more time focusing about the God of the here and now, instead of the God who is to come, I think the Kingdom would be built a lot sooner.

EVERY generation has thought that He would come during their life. So far, every generation has been wrong. What makes us think we are any different?

Heh, I would argue since His Promise still holds He still with us.

But I know what you mean regarding those prophecies. Eh I am of the opinion we not as far along as people think. The Great Earthquake come first I think. Then again since His Promise is The Resurrection and Salvation I suppose we shall seem Him in our life regardless, even our ancient forefathers. That's His Promise. It holds true. He proved it on the cross and resurrection.

So every other saint that has come before you (including the disciples) and believed that Yeshua was coming back was wrong, and you are right?

i hope I'm misunderstanding you, otherwise that appears very arrogant and prideful.

interestingly though it doesn't say the year! I don't know if we can or can't predict it, but I do think we COULD have. I had a class on the year of jubilee in the old testament and he was very convincing with the scripture he used that Jesus would return on the Year of Jubilee, granted no one knows when that year is now. So in that aspect I think it is quite possible we could have guessed the year, I wouldn't say for sure we can now. I do not know I just find it interesting it doesn't say year. Good bible study can focus on what the bible leaves out as well as the words in it, like in this case.

With the track record of human predictions, I wouldn't even hold any credibility on the year either. Just look at Herold camping.

I'm not saying I will believe anyone who tells me the year because you are right, human's have been off A LOT on years when it comes to their predictions on scripture. I do think that it was possible to predict the year if we kept the year of jubilee. (not saying we should have, just saying if we did I think we could have predicted the year) That and I think that it is possible for someone to end up guessing the year right because the bible doesn't say year. I probably won't believe them but I think it is possible for it to happen. I have no 100% proof it can, but I don't think there is 100% proof it can't. Realize I am purely talking years here not exact date.
