You don't mean to sin, but even in your thoughts you will sin. It's unintentional most the time. Noone can be sinless
If one follows the Spirit in his thoughts and actions? That takes some practices and encouragement from one another.
If we keep saying we can't be perfect and we can't do it is denying what Paul said we can do all things in Christ.
Guess it's time to have our minds renewed by the Spirit.

That scripture does not say repented, it says He relented from doing harm to His people. Meaning He will not allow harm to come to them now because Moses pleaded for them.

The next thing is I love how some always apply the laws given to us to follow towards putting those laws on God as well.

God can do what He wants, He is above all......

The laws were put on us because we as men in the flesh make wrongful judgment calls, do not know how to love properly as commanded, and we live in a world that is very unforgiving.

There is not physical action in lust in the heart. ( If you see a woman/man and you have sexual thoughts about them, that is lust of the heart which is wrong/sin )

You know you have to think about the temptation before you act upon it?

Exo 32:14 and the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people..

According to you God sinned

And in your heart and in your mind are different

I find it shocking to see there are ppl who claim to be perfect and without sin, The scriptures say if anyone claims to be without sin the truth is not in him. Are we to totally disregard this passage? Is this not proof we cannot be perfect? I just dont understand its very suprising

I actually figured you would use that scripture but not everything in the bible is meant to be literal. Jesus said this for us to try to be perfect not actually be perfect. If you so much as look at a person with a tiny bit of judgement even just thinking negatively about their outer appearances a tiny bit you have sinned. If you ever get angry at someone and are not loving you have sinned.

We are all sinners and to say you are perfect means you lack humility and truth. I pray God will open your eyes
To bad you make judgment and don't know me.. To say anger is a sin then Jesus sinned when he made a whip and ran the people out... Do you guys pay attention to what you say? I judge no one and I don't get angry.. But what ever floats your boat.

Why do continue to try to make it sound like Jesus sinned? His anger is a righteous anger ours is not because our anger is from our own imaturity.

Anger is a sin when you do not work out that anger and let it reign in your body. We are told not to go to bed angry, this is because if we keep hatred/anger in us it leads to wrath which is wrong/sinful.

And for the record I never once judged you I merely pointed out you are not perfect. just because someoneis trying to show you your error that doesnt mean they are judging you

It says repent in the King James version but besides the point He had evil thoughts. Which you say is a sin. So now according from what you are saying we have a Sinful God who can do what ever he wants ... I beg the differ...

Maybe read that passage again, or we can just say the bible contradict itself. Its either hot or cold. Luke warm goes to the same place as the cold

Im gonna have to stop you right there. jesus was tempted but he rebuked satan there is a huge difference between being tempted and thinking of that temptation and even bigger of actually doing it.
Ur willing to go so far as to call our Lord and savoir a sinner just to discredit a fellow Christian and prove your perfect?

What I am saying is the laws apply to us because we misuse how we should be towards others.

God uses righteous anger, and jealousy because He knows our hearts and who is true and who isn't.

We do not, for we do not know where one's heart is. So we make judgment calls, are unrightfully angry or use anger in a wrong manner, and we are jealous for the wrong reasons.

Therefore what we do in the flesh lead to all wrong doing/ sinful ways. To say God / Lord Jesus sins is not understanding the anger, jealousy, and thoughts used in His situations compared to ours.

Funny I have a king James version, and mine says relent.

You know that wasn't the only time he was tempted? I never called Him a sinner.. Only according to some of yalls interpretation he would be a sinner by what some of y'all say..

I can't prove to you I'm perfect, you would have to be here with me.. I'm trying to show you that you can be perfect once you are reborn and after you renew your mind.

I like how everybody use that 1 john verse....

But in 1 john 2... He says I write this to you so that you may not sin.... So it must be possible not to sin.

Then he says but "if" you do sin... Not "when" you sin but if if if..... So must be a possibilities for you not to sin.

Yes I do, but even Paul said he still sinned. And we know by scripture that he had the Holy Spirit in him.
