24"Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. 25"Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. 26"But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions."Mark11;25

David prayed imprecatory prayers.....You can still love your enemies and pray to God for God to deal with them according to his will as there is a fine line to be drawn on the sand for sure......

All his fellow demon cronies are his children..
[h=1]Acts 13:8-12King James Version (KJV)[/h]8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Many christians believe that it is a sin to pray that God destroy their enemies or in other word to kill them

I am of the view there are times when you must pray against your enemies that God will destroy them from the face of the earth or get them sick etc

What sayesth thou CC ?

It is not a sin to pray that God destroys our enemies (as long as we understand who our enemies really are).
There is a spiritual battle for our souls and without God's help we have no chance to win.

Why not.....I pray for God to bring the enemies of Israel down to the ground as ashes under the soles of their feet many times and for God to deal with the enemies of Christ and Christians according to his will all the time.......many would argue against this and disagree with me, but God seems to answer my prayers and has blessed me in many ways even though I fail him every day.........!

Could a christian use it in spiritual warfare?
Yes, I have used this to combat warfare. It's the SWORD of the SPIRIT. In fact, I will pray this outloud tonight. It's what is happening to me now. Good point! I believe a sister and I were talking about reasoning with God. Come let us talk together about the issues. 109 is an honest and open answer about how they feel. It's from the heart. I think many psalms give us an example of how people are real about their emotions and feelings. When a child speaks to His Father, this is an open and honest psalm. Then it is up to God to take vengeance.

Well said that is what I believe God takes the vengence i love this pslam

[h=1]Psalm 94 King James Version (KJV)[/h]94 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 They break in pieces thy people, O Lord, and afflict thine heritage.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

I always thought it talked about praying for your enemies. Bring them to the light of our father, not destroy them. That is not up to us to destroy as that show we have judged them and sentenced them to death. Would you like someone to pray for that for you? I pray my Father to protect me from those who would have harm done to me. This is not an eye for an eye thing. This is God is in control not us.

It's really praying against deceitful works and workers of iniquities. Evil spirits and evil people who are harming people are going against God. I believe that is what we are talking about. True believers are not the enemies of God. This is talking about God's enemies.

i know I know

[h=1]Revelation 11:3-5King James Version (KJV)[/h]3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

how long is two hundred threescore days? Is it 1,230 days? I believe the two witnesses are authorized in the last days because the evil is so great that the only way to squash it is by FIRE which the Lord gives through HIS SPIRIT to stop the wicked. Im' sorry folks, the wicked, God will not save. There are presdestined people who are hardened. There are times when God will say, "Do not pray for these people". It is in the days of Sodom and Gomorrhea, it was destroyed by fire because Lot dusted off his feet. Yes we are to love, but God does not tell us to love satan.

I also suspect that the whole world will not recognize the two witnesses because they bring the righteousness of God and that in these last days, the wickedness will be so bad that they will want to destroy GOD!!!! Therefore they will try to destroy the two witnesses instead. It says these two will be hated by all nations and that is why they are ultimately killed, BUT God will also resurrect them. I love that our GOD wins!!!
