The question Should we follow the Law? was a little bit tricky for me in that- I don't believe we should follow the law, but that we should follow God/Jesus/Holy Spirit and if we follow them then it should come naturally that we would want to obey God's law or the law of faith as some call it but we would be obeying out of love.

In following Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to live in your life you would automatically want to obey God's law and I am talking about the 10 Commandments. However, we are un-capable to do it on our own it has to be done with indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help us.

I believe God's law is still valuable in showing us what sin is and that we accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross and then God no longer sees the wrongs we have committed but the perfect record of Jesus life stand and covers our lives.

Yes, I believe there is importance and that God's law still stands, but Jesus fulfilled the penalty for us on the cross. I hope this makes sense to you.
Thanks for your intake, but it doesnt make sense for Jesus to die for our sins when he himself cleansed peoples sins while Alive...
No sacrifice needed there.
You kept mentioning how god doesnt see our sins no more because jesus died for our sins and all that information,,, I wish people would realize this was not taught till wayyy after jesus died..

When i hear jesus speak in his quotes in the bible, i take it as if i was there with him. And he is not telling me he will die for our sins

Ok thank you Hizikyah, but i honestly your only believe jesus is god because you want to..

Put your faith aside for a second and read what is actually said..

Sit at my right hand.. Does that make him god? No. to take someone besides god as god is gods worst sin. You dont remember in the OT when it was said god is a jealous god?

Ok, he is going to God, and over 1000 times the bible said god is ONE, even jesus said the father is the only true god. So how does jesus going to to the father mean that He is god? It only means what is being said, he was going to god lol..
Jesus said "I and the Father are One".John 10:30

Why do you write with so little characters?

Anyway, if you refer to the bibles of the Jehovah's Witnesses or the "bibles" of the mormons - which are the main gross corruptions of the Bible I can think of, than you should not take those guys seriously.

The verse from 1 John 5:7 actually has those words added, and not deleted.
My question to you is the following: For christians, do you think that only the Bible is the word of God?

I'm sorry but you said you study the Quran, the Torah and the New Testament. If you study the New Testament and the early christianity than you should want to know better than "some people say".

You say "nothing wrong with islam". Is Mohamad dead or alive? What about Jesus Christ?
Well i dont know what point your trying to bring our right now, but yes ive studied as much as i could and will continue studying.

Muhammed is believed to be dead but so is moses.. i dont see your point. Today i just learned that Jesus will be the one to come on judgement day to take the believers to heaven in Islam... So thats what im going to do more research on

Isayah 53, "Who has believed our report? To whom is the arm of Yahweh יהוה revealed? For He will grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by Yahweh יהוה , and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and Yahweh יהוה has laid on Him the iniquity o us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut of from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; but He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet His bruises; (willful sacrifice), pleased Yahweh יהוה ; for He was put to much grief. Now He has brought the offering for sin. He will see His seed, He will prolong days, and the pleasure of Yahweh יהוה will succeed in His hands. He will see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied; by His knowledge My righteous Servant will justify many, for He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the plunder with the strong; because He poured out His soul to death, and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

Mattithyah 27:45-54, "Then from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Yahshua cried out with a loud voice, saying: Yli! Yli! lamah ozabatniy?! which means: My Strength! My Strength! Why have You forsaken Me?! Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said; This Man calls for Yliyah. Then immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with vinegar; sour wine, put it on a reed, and gave it to Him to drink. The rest said; Leave Him alone! Let us see if Yliyah will come to save Him. Yahshua, when He had cried out again with a loud voice, yielded up His Spirit. And behold, the veil of the Most Holy Place was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, And minds were opened, and many congregations of saints who were called of Yahweh יהוה arose. And those whose minds were opened came out after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many. When the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Yahshua, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying; Truly this was the Son of Yahweh יהוה !"

Psalm 22, My Strength! My Strength! Yahweh יהוה ! Yahweh יהוה ! Why have You forsaken Me? O why are You so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning? O Yahweh יהוה I cry in the daytime and at night; I am not silent but You do not hear. But You are holy, Who have the praises of Israyl. Our fathers trusted You; they trusted You, and You delivered them. They cried to You, and were delivered; they trusted in You, and were not ashamed. But I am a worm, and no man, but despised! I am scorned by men and despised by the people. Those who see Me laugh, they shoot their lips, they shake their heads, saying: He trusted on Yahweh יהוה ! Let Him save Him! Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him! But You took Me from My mother's womb, Yahweh יהוה ! You made Me trust in You, even from My mother's breast. I was cast upon You from My birth; from My mother's womb, You are My Strength. Be not far from Me, for trouble is near, and there are none to help but You. Many bulls have surrounded Me; bulls of Bashan have compassed and beset Me; They gape on Me with their mouths, as ravening and roaring lions. I am poured out like water, and all My strength has left Me. My heart is like wax; it has melted within Me. My strength is dried up like a pottery sherd, and My tongue cleaves to My jaws. You have brought Me to the dust of death. For dogs and the assembly of the wicked have compassed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, and for My tallit they cast lots. But You, O Yahweh יהוה , be not far from Me! O My Strength, make haste to help Me! Deliver Me from the sword, and My precious life from the power of the dog; the assembly of the wicked. Save Me from the lion's mouth, and from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me, Yahweh יהוה ! All praise is Yours! I will declare Your Name to My brothers! In the midst of the congregation I will give You praise! You who reverence Yahweh יהוה , praise Him! Glorify Him, Yaaqob's seed! Reverence Him, all you offspring of Israyl! For Yahweh יהוה has not despised, He has not abhorred the affliction of the Afflicted, nor has He hid His face from Me; for when I cried to Yahweh יהוה , He heard! My praise shall be of You, O Yahweh יהוה , in the great congregation! I will pay My vows before those who reverence You! The poor shall eat and they shall be satisfied. HalleluYahweh יהוה ! Those who seek Yahweh יהוה , may they live forever! All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to Yahweh יהוה ! All the families of the Gentiles will bow down before Him; For the kingdom is Yahweh יהוה 's, and He rules over the nations! All the rich and powerful upon the earth shall eat and worship; all they that go down to the dust of the earth shall bow before Him; for Yahweh יהוה will restore them to life. A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to Yahweh יהוה as a generation. They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has done this!"

1 Timothy 2:5, "For One is Yahweh; and One Mediator between Yahweh and men: the Man, Yahshua Messiah."

1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

Isayah 59:15-21, "Yes, truth is suppressed; and he who departs from evil is accounted as mad. Yahweh saw this, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. But He saw no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him, and His own righteousness, it sustained Him. For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, with a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and He wrapped Himself with zeal like a tallit. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay--fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; to the islands; nations, He will repay recompense. So they will reverence the Name of Yahweh from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun; when our enemies will come in like a flood, the Spirit of Yahweh will lift up a standard against them; The Redeemer will depart from Zion for those of Yaaqob who repent of their sins! declares Yahweh. As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Yahweh: My Spirit which is upon you, namely My Words which I have put in your mouth; they will not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed's seed, says Yahweh: from this time and forevermore."

Isayah 54:8-17, "With a little wrath, I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you: says Yahweh your Redeemer. For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have vowed that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I vowed that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains will depart and the hills be removed; but My kindness will not depart from you, nor will My covenant of peace be removed, says Yahweh, Who has mercy on you. O you afflicted, tossed with tempest and not comforted. Behold, I will lay your stones with turquoise, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your windows of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones. All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and great will be the peace of your children. In righteousness you will be established. You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear from terror; for it will not come near you. Behold, they will surely assemble, but it is not from Me. Whoever assembles against you will fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame, and forges an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster; devastator, to destroy. No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment, you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness is from Me, says Yahweh."

Christians don't believe that the Holy Trinity is polytheism. If you grew up in a catholic house, you should at least know that much.

It is not fair to talk about christianity going from islamic or jewish premises. I believe you less and less that you grew up a christian. Too many things that you ignore.
I never once said that... I already KNOW christians still say god is one... But technically by saying he is three and separate than that does not make sense to say. especially when jesus says and makes a complete distinguish between him and god.

And sorry but i honestly dont care what you believe or dont believe

Sorry but i have to disagree :/ The law will only cause you less sin!!
I dont drink alcohol, why? Because its bad for you.
But see god warned us 3000 years ago not to drink alcohol, Jesus says why he came it was to save the black sheep from being non believers. Nothing about the law, only thing he mentioned about the law was that not one dot of the law will be abolished.

But its confusing because i know god doesnt want us stoning infidels like the OT says.. i dont get it

Matt.5:17~"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

The law was given to establish the fact that humanity sins and is contrary to God...the law as a schoolmaster takes us by the hand and points us to Christ...The righteousness of the LAW is found in Christ and the perfect faith of Christ....Christ is the end of the LAW for those who actually believe...They are redeemed, saved, justified by the perfect faith of Christ when they believe into the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus an the condemnation that is found by the law no longer hangs over their head as they have been rendered legally innocent....In Christ we have been set free from the bondage of sin and can now serve God in the newness of the spirit as opposed to the letter of the law......

There are many arguments on both sides of the isle and that stems from religion, erroneous views, ignorance of scripture, a rejection of truth etc. and as long as men are in fallen sinful bodies with a limited view there will always be some division on the truth and the doctrines found therein.....
Sadly due to you and those who agree with you, who are still as 'shortsighted' infants of the written Scripture and not continuing with the words of JESUS of the New Testament, in order to 'perceive' sound doctrine knowledge of the whole Testament, by only the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT and still remain as babes in CHRIST, sticking to only 'milk' all these years in growth.

You and those in your likeness are the 'culprits', of all division and 'vain' debates and proud braggers of their 'partial faith'.

This is based on your 'shortsighted' testimony of the Scripture, like a 'broken record', on and on about 'milk'.

And so these that you boldly testify to us, that your gospel gives you an excuse that you may boldly continue in your imperfection and sin, without any practices guided by a LAW and that enables you to preach and quote Scriptures taken out of context from the New Testament to justify GOD's Grace and Truth.

No wonder, that is why unbelievers mock our Gospel to be corrupted, especially done by CHRIST's disciples, because of preachers like you. They are saying the same thing, that how convenient the Gospel (in the surface) seems to be, that one can be forgiven of their sins unconditionally. Their GOD say that it is okay to sin again and again and their GOD will forgive them again and again. And they can still go to Heaven.

What a corrupted and false gospel of the OSAS group to even preach?

As the Apostles declared about such ignorant ones that;

"These that have gone ahead of us, will soon be 'shipwrecked'."

Please quote from the Scripture what is the HOLY SPIRIT's sent duty to Help us?

Then we will all know how the HOLY SPIRIT Help from within us. Anywhere it is written that HE will practice GOD's LAW from within us, without us doing anything?

The Jews who practice the Law of Moses and the Gentiles who practice naturally the Law written in their hearts and the Law imparted by their forefathers and also did what was pleasing to their sight, are under the Law of bondage, because due to carnal/flesh and it's fruits are weak to accomplish GOD's Law actual requirements and are automatically ruled by sin and death.

As it is written in Romans of New Testament, a declaration to the Jews and Gentiles alike to repent, that;

"All have sinned and fallen short of My Glory."

JESUS of Nazareth did not live like others, naturally according to the corruption of the carnal/flesh and it's fruits. But HE lived in thinking according to the works of the HOLY SPIRIT and HIS bodily spirit was always obedient to GOD's every Word, that also proceeded out of HIS mouth to the 'lost' and together in one heart, mind, soul and strength, do only HIS will, which HE(JESUS) was sent for to 'accomplish' here on earth.

So JESUS 'accomplished' GOD's Law actual requirements as living the spirit-man that carnal/flesh-man, Jews or Gentiles were in their 'weakness' unable to, or even unable perceive too.

So the ones, the Jews first and then the Gentiles, who were and are born again with CHRIST, not only of water but also the HOLY SPIRIT, actually buried their carnal/flesh and it's fruits desire full lives and have become a new creature. When they at first the Jews who perform this baptism with John the Baptist and CHRIST and after discovering CHRIST as their Redeemer, even declared by John the Baptist himself, followed HIM to a mount.

There in the mount, JESUS sat and declared the sermon and on and on until the book of Revelation, which is also one of 'The Kingdom of GOD is at hand', HIS words/teachings given to, 'everyone then who hears these words and does/practice them are like wise builders', rooted in the established written New Testament, 'as salt and light for the world' who are able to stand the test of times, 'Tribulations' and 'Persecutions'.

These are all given as the New Covenant, GOD makes with HIS 'called out'(sanctified) and 'newly redeemed'(new creation) citizens of Heaven, and as 'The Way, The Truth and The Life, The Only Way To The FATHER, Is By ME'.

That is also the 'Law of CHRIST' of the New Covenant, from JESUS our LORD and from the beginning HE has 'placed servants in charge of them, to see to it that all of them are 'done' and 'labored' in the SPIRIT and as spirit-man.

In departure, 'HE has left for a far away country to be crown as KING of kings' and one day promised, HE will return.

In HIS New Testament, HE gave GOD's Law to the citizens of the 'New Jerusalem of Sarah', the Heavenly descendants of Abraham. In them consists of Laws, given for Law 'abiding' faithful citizens, HIS 'commandments', 'rules' and 'instructions' and also prophecies to 'stay watch' and 'be alert'.

HE gave all of them and sum them up, by declaring the same two commandments to HIS disciples, saying;

1. "Love thy GOD with all your heart, mind, soul and strength."

2. "Love thy neighbor."

Isn't the given Law of CHRIST, HE called us to practice/do and grow as the spirit-man by forsaking carnality/fleshly fruits of second death, fulfills this Two Commandments?

As it is written;

"My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. ................................."

Please do a thorough check in the New Testament and a 'check list' about the HOLY SPIRIT's duty for us.

"HE only speaks what CHRIST and the Apostles of CHRIST spoke and have spoken."

'As a reminder' and 'a stir up of memory', not to be deceived and remain faithful and practice and practice and practice and become perfect.

When carnality/fleshly fruits remain also in practices and mixed with the SPIRIT's, isn't there a war going on in a believer that stops them from doing what they want to do (Galatians chapter 5)?

Aren't they 'hostile' to GOD, unable to fulfill the New Covenant in us?

As a 'reality check' of calling ourselves as believers and faithful to CHRIST and who honor HIM, have we crucified the 'flesh' with it's 'passions' and 'desires'?

CHRIST words is witnessing our lives of 'hypocrisy' and 'lawlessness', even in this forum.

We are declaring here day to day, as witnesses taught according to the written and established Holy Scriptures and as unworthy servants in service only to HIS 'learning and practicing lambs and sheep', a 'HOLY' and 'RIGHTEOUS' and a 'CONSUMING FIRE' GOD to face one day.

Not to Pharisees who boldly remain and brag in the 'flesh and it's passions and desires', mixed with the given gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT and are also witnessing as 'babes in CHRIST',still drinking 'milk'.

In the 'flesh-man', we are Pharisees and in the 'spirit-man' we are infants, still drinking 'milk'.

Please read 'the sower and the seeds' in the Gospel of Luke, and note the 'third' ground that the message of GOD fell. They are those who got choked with the world, lived to the necessities and pleasures that the world provided and 'their fruit never ripen'.

Also about those so close to them, in the book of Revelation, to one of the church, the LORD declared as 'lukewarm' and;

"I will spit you out."

"I wish you were either 'hot' or 'cold' and not 'lukewarm'."

Twelve years old, already JESUS was about HIS Heavenly FATHER's 'business', and amazing 'grown ups'.

As it is written in the final, in order to 'wake up from our sleep', that;

"Do not put to test the LORD thy GOD."

Also three times in the book of Hebrews, is written that;

"If you hear GOD's voice today, do not be heart-harden, or you will never enter HIS place of rest."

Please ignore 'me' and realize your 'self' with the 'words' of CHRIST, who we will all be facing and are answerable individually, on judgement day. i hope we make peace with him now before we perish with the world unrepented or unrepentant.

JESUS said to the carnal/flesh Pharisees that day and as a reminder to those who remain in carnal/flesh 'passions' and 'desires' Pharisees today;

"Since you claim to 'see', you will die with your sins unforgiven."

Exactly.. and by saying Jesus is god i might be going against what god said, "not to have any gods before him"
who introduced you to god. you cant believe in one(god) without the other,(jesus)
what is a new covenant saying, all the non christian jews never believed in jesus, yet the believers in jesus were the one that took the bible forward. in a new testament.

6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth. (did they have a map to ware these remotest part were) etc
and
The Ascension
9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.11 They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."

dose it say, what jesus done when he went back to heaven, or to wait,. atc

70 ad was done by the romans. (at a guess would you think that they(romans) were saying follow the full law now. with no temple of stone)

jesus and john (b) ministry started with repent with your voice, (not take an animal to the temple) do you need a temple of stone to repent with your voice.
yet did the jewish people listen.

yet did the one that sent them already tell them this via the prophets, and by the spoken words of jesus and john (b), and his apostles etc

history never lied but proved,some never listened or understood etc (or words to the gist of this meaning.)

Did you read what the church fathers had to say about the matter or you only read opinions of Mohamed? Mohamed formed his opinions by looking shallowly at the christian expression of faith. He also did not read the church fathers.

And sorry but i honestly dont care what you believe or dont believe
That's nice. Thank you.

If you read the New Testament with and open mind, you'll see that there is a trinitarian understanding of God.

The church fathers talked and thought in a continuum, not in a vacuum. So, if christianity believes in the Holy Trinity is because the very first christians also approached God like this. It is true that the very first christians did not understand the Holy Trinity like us and they did not look at Jesus like at the "second person of the Trinity". But they did understood very well that by accepting Jesus Christ they accept God Himself and that by rejecting Jesus Christ they reject God. Also, the pharisees knew that Jesus Christ said and did what only the temple could do (why only the temple? because the temple was the dwelling place of God). So, if Jesus Christ purposely acted like He was the temple, it means that He implied that God dwells in Him.

Jesus Christ forgave sins, said that salvation entered in the house of Zaccheus (Jesus referred to himself as being salvation), He implied that just because one is sitting in His presence that person is sanctified no matter that the person did not respect the dietary law (remember when the pharisees and the disciples of John asked Jesus why don't His disciples fast?).

I could go on but I want to see a little effort and good will from your part too.

For your ignorance information, the lambs and sheep of GOD, will listen to HIS voice and not mine, according to the New Covenant.

i forgive you in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST, and please 'grow up' in unworthiness and undeservingness and in humble and humility, to the HOLY SPIRIT and body spiritual, sound doctrine knowledge of the New Covenant, that GOD made with us through CHRIST.

JESUS and the Apostles did not stop speaking to the church, in 'reminder' and 'stir up of memory' of the given New Covenant, until they had leave their body from this world.

If you 'see' these things being spoken are done again in 'vain', than you are 'shortsighted'.

i am sorry to say these things, but i am saying only out of love, according to the New Covenant.

You do not have to answer to me but to GOD, who had made through CHRIST this same written Covenant with you.

Thank you and be blessed in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

How come you don't see my point? I asked you is Jesus Christ dead or alive? I wait for an answer.
Thats not a question anyone can just ask, answers will only be answered by faith. we dont have proof of anything..

I believe he is alive.. Thats what most books have claimed.
