I was born gay. I'm not sure why that's hard for you to accept. Is it hard to accept that you were born heterosexual? What if I said to you, "Nobody is born heterosexual?"
There is no such thing as permanently hetero or homo. I am speaking from experience.
There is no such thing as permanently anything. Our minds are constantly building new connections.
I was born hating my enemies and repaying evil for evil, I was born self seeking.
I was born worrying and being anxious about things. I was born covetous and jealous.
I was born fearing death. and on and on and on.... Of all the changes that occur in a follower of Christ, the change you are worrying about is insignificant.

The question is the same as it is for everyone else... Do you love Christ and people more than you love yourself and your sin?

If the answer is yes, then pick up your cross, deny yourself and follow. He will continue the work He started in you and spiritual maturity will soon follow. Soon you will no longer be a slave to any sin.

If the answer is no, then you will die in your sins like everyone else

It's obvious I have called your bluff. Should we bring back slavery? I mean it's throughout the Bible.
Nope.Start a thread on slavery and we'll discuss it at length and what the Bible really says about it.I'd enjoy that discussion too.But you still dodge my question. You cannot answer. And its obvious that you're trying so hard to avoid it.

Says you. Why is it that my pastor has a different opinion? Would she be called a troll in here too?
I do NOT have an opinion, I have the truth of the Word of God. If your pastor is gay or not, and she came in her for the express purpose of supporting the gay agenda, then yes, she is a troll.

This is a website designed to share, grow, learn, have fun, be encouraged, corrected, and many other things to do with serving and loving Jesus Christ.

When you are a one issue person, it leans toward trolling. Esp. when you have yet to post one thing supporting your position that being an active homosexual is in the Bible.

And if you don't believe the Bible, then my feeling is that you probably don't believe in Jesus Christ as anything more than a moral teacher.

By the way, I am a pastor, and I stick to the Bible. It has never served me wrong! And it led me to Jesus - that is what matters, and you are not responding to my questions concerning your relationship with Jesus.

Do you believe Jesus died for your sins? Are you willing to repent of your sins?

That is all I am going to respond to. I pray you come to a real knowledge of the truth of Jesus sacrifice, and his resurrection.

i as born a sorcerer. so what do you think?

shall i cast a hex? call spirits of the air?

i got an inheritance that wasn't by birthright. i sold it for a bowl of manna - i was sold, redeemed, brought out of the market and into an household. He put me in a grave, drowned me in blood, stripped of my flesh, said to my bones "
live"

guess what happened next . . ?

:)
I have no idea what you're talking about.

I've met pastors who engage in homosexual immorality that teach untruth from a pulpit. 2 Peter 2:1-2 states:

"But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned;…"

Well, I think it's time to PM a moderator and bring your brief reign of heresy and promotion of homosexual immorality at CC to an end. Au Revoir for now.

That's a loaded statement.

This is a website designed to share, grow, learn, have fun, be encouraged, corrected, and many other things to do with serving and loving Jesus Christ.
Do you think that it's possible that you could learn anything from me?

When you are a one issue person, it leans toward trolling.
I'm not a one issue person. It just happens to be a busy thread. LOL

I won't be going to your church, lol.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
don't you?
you were born with unrighteousness. me too. you call it "good" because it was in your cradle with you. not me.
can i do the same?

don't you know?
in Him, i die. in Him, i live. not i that lives, Him. it is life, and it is eternal, and it is not of myself.
you should get an idea - you should be given one!
you should lose your ideas. they die.

That sounds combative. And I'm the one being jumped on for being hostile.

Jah says:

hate evil, cling to what is good.

the book says:

the LORD is a warrior, the LORD is His name.

you sound defensive. who is your shield?

I haven't avoided anything and you know it. I've used the slavery comparison to point out the hypocrisy in here. There are slaves throughout the bible but we did away with that somehow. Conversely, homosexuality is only mentioned a couple of times but I'm being hung on the cross (no pun intended). Maybe my pastor recognizes that it's wrong to condemn homosexuals (who God created) just like it was wrong to have slaves.

Yes. You're asking me to reject myself because I'm a sinner right? So, by that logic, should you not also reject yourself?

You won't be going to my church because I believe in Jesus Christ? Because Jesus is revealed in the Bible?

Do you believe Jesus saves you or not?

God made me gay. What God makes is good. Therefore I will cling to myself, God's creation.

therefore you will die in your sin -

for '
whoever trusts in himself is a fool'

He sent a Savior to the world. do you know why?

for you.
