They are people and still my brothers and sisters. If they believe Jesus is their Savior what is the problem? God makes the call not us as He looks at the heart. If there is adjusting or conviction that needs to be made that is the Holy Spirits job...Mine is to love them or any other person on this planet no matter what they call themselves....Even folks who live down under....lol
Hey! This is kind of radical. You mean you think as Christians, we should actually act the way Jesus did? Shocking!!!!!

Thank my Lord for people like you, Dar.

When the man said he was not proselytizing, simply asking to talk about some scriptures, should WE start preaching at him.... as if that will do anything but confirm many people's negative opinions of us?
Ofcourse, we shouldn't immediately assume mormons come here to proselytize,
and apparently they don't like to be preached AT either.

(No need to be overly pc either.)

There are radically different beliefs between Christians and Mormons, but I still love them. Jehovah's Witnesses too.

Yeah, there's NOTHING like two decent young guys in shirt and tie
coming to your door wanting to discuss the 'bible' with you

(in a charming american accent.)

(Unlike the JW's who don't really know how to dress well,
and tend to not take care of themselves.)

James 1:19

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

This is a good scripture all Christians should follow by, yet some skip all three and go straight to wrath by jumping on another before letting the person really speak. Then in other situations they skip these also by quickly belittling, demeaning, and condemning others. Paul and Jesus both say do not judge;

1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

The letters of James and Peter are for Christians . Christians believe their sins are forgiven and are saved forever - you dont believe Christ saved you

Put scripture in context Kenneth!

1Co 4:1 ¶ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
7 ¶ For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

1Co 4:18 Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

1Co 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Nice misuse of scripture there in 1 Corinthians.
The scripture does not give us all the right to judge others, it is saying that by believing you have the right you put yourself to shame (verse 5). For it says there is not one wise man among us that has the right to judge another.
It states that we were all once in same boat of being enmity to God, so we have no right to judge another that is walking that way now. We are to help them instead by through love show them the truth in scriptures.
Nowhere does the bible give us the right to start jumping on a man before he even is spreading a false doctrine, or trying to push his ways on others which he has not done yet to deserve the badgering of his faith and the wanting to just send him away immediately like a few of you are doing.
Like I said and I will post this question again;

Do you not realize that the reason why he came here might be because it was by God leading him here to seek out and hear the truth ?

No misuse of scripture...we are clearly suppose to reject those who bring false doctrine and we are not suppose to receive them as sincere believers in Christ. If this fellow was here just to learn or whatever, he would not have Identified himself as a "Mormon" ....

2Jo 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 ¶ If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

I'm sure you're the only one here who thinks 'Satan is cute.'

The fact that i can see the "cuteness " of Satan ( 2 Cor 11:14 ) and you CANT , is probably because you lack discernment and knowledge
