I would recommend you switch to my bank, but mine is a local bank with only a few branch offices. I can't imagine my bank pulling something like that.


In local news, I'm going to boil four dozen eggs and put them in a jar for pickling. And I'm gonna make some guacamole... if I have any avocados left uneaten after peeling them. I kinda like to eat avocado.

I loooooove my credit union. Haven't had a single issue with them. My parents (years before mom passed away) had been with them for a while. Since they left Chase and went to them, they never complained once about banking again.

Sooooo two days until my sister gets married.

Today, I got my hair cut and I found the style that I'm going to do. I should have gotten that and a few other things figured out earlier but I never did it. Anywho. I'm going to have kind of a french braid with some curls. I wish I could show you guys what I'm talking about. But I liked it.

Then, when I got that done I went home, and we had a cookout with the family and bridal party. Man...that was a little stressful. So many people I didn't know...my social anxiety and introverted brain just started screaming, "RETREAT! REEETREEEAAATTTT!!!" So I did. Then I decided that was rude and went back out just in time for everyone to start leaving. Woops...


Lord help. Not sure how the heck I'm gonna get through these next few days

Oh my gosh. Yes. Please just make this a thing. I don't wanna be lonely and a hermit, but there are times I wanna be left alone. This week being one of them....and it's baaaaaad. SO BAD.


I have imagined an introverted party...where everyone either played video games or read a book, but nobody had to feel an obligation to socialize. And there would be food. Oh yes. So much food. I mean I don't mind socializing sometimes, but I wanna be able to draw back without people asking WHY or appearing rude. THIS would be so much better. Or maybe it just sounds better in theory than it actually would be in practice.

I think my brain is fried, I should just go to sleep.

Saw that display today myself; dropped in to buy a couple gift cards for my students. (If you ever want to know how God strengthens us to withstand temptation, go into a McDonald's and leave without buying fries.) A couple years ago, they were including minifig ponies and bots in the meals, and now they've upgraded to full-sized pony figs. Impressive, but I won't be going after this set, since they look to be the same as the off-the-shelf versions...which I already have. ^_^

The Transformers look bigger than the last run, too, but I only buy from the Generations line. These figs look to be from the current cartoon (which makes sense, since they're marketed at kids, not nostalgic adults ^_^ ).

Each day, I near the end of my teenage years. It's weird to think that. As I near the end of them...all I can say is, wow. I was stupid. So....stupid. And that's probably what I'm going to think of my 18 year old self two years from now. Wow....I was stupid. Actually I'm feeling a little bit of that right now. Wow...I'm stupid. Not in an intellectual manner...but overall as a person. And when it comes to making life-decisions. And when it comes to how I seem to judge people. Or just how I treat people. I could do so much better...I mean, people call me sweet all the time...but man. There's those times where I'm about as sweet as a bitter herb.

I don't try to condemn myself, and if the devil is trying to then well he can beat it. But regardless, it still rings true...

You're not stupid, Lil. You are far from it! What you are is what smart people are... careful. Being too careful can cause one to make mistakes too..

But don't equate bad decision-making with being stupid. Many incorrect decisions were carefully thought over but ended up not being the right one... stupidity is making decisions without thinking them through.

None of us are perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. Its not how poorly you judged, but how hard you tried to do what's right that makes you a better person. You're not stupid, Lil.. you're just human.

By the way, has anyone else noticed you can play Nibbles on youtube now? If your video is buffering, with the circle of dots in the center of the screen, hit any arrow key and the dots will take off in a line. Change which way the line goes to hit (eat) the glowing stationary dot.

Dunno how long they've been doing that.
