Trying to state all of the attributes of God will take a long time because there are so many of God. However, I feel that God is indescribable because he is everything. Every gift he has given us to use for his purpose he is seen right there. When you wake up in the morning and look out the window, God is a part of that beauty that is seen. When you see a beautiful baby God is a part of that baby. I wish that I could be more specific, but God is seen everywhere in everything we see in our eyes. He is loving and is unchangeable and I love the fact that when I am hurting he is right there comforting me and protecting me.
I agree... Its important to remember that the bible assigns some negative divine attributes too. Some of God's characteristics are hate, anger, fury, vengeance, wrath, judgement, righteous indignation, etc. So God's emotions aren't all lovey-dovey towards those who tick him off and reject him. God's patience and mercy have limitations...jmo

God is love. But love is not God. 1+1=2 so 2=1+1. God is love is grammar. It is not a mathematical statement.
Galahad is brave. Brave is not Galahad. (But I am) Love is a subset of God.
God is Almighty. But only according to truth. In other words, God cannot sin. Period. Galahad cannot jump to the moon. Not part of my nature. (Yes, I am created.) God cannot sin. If He could, He would not be God. We serve a God who is Holy, Right, Love, and Almighty. In all that, He can do no wrong.

Anyway, attributes of God I am most thankful for involve His absolute holiness: Holy, Holy, Holy. The Lord is not dishonest, is not capricious, is not unjust, is not emotionally driven, does not "bend in the wind." He is Holy God, truly worthy of all praise and glory, just for who He is, something we can all be thankful for, that He is not, for instance, Allah. Praise His Holy name Jesus, thankful this is the case, that we have a loving God that is worthy, in all things and all ways.
yahweh is totally, completely, absolutely perfect in every way --- nothing 'negative' even in HIS wrath (except to the ungodly ones who suffer HIS wrath). HIS wrath is perfect, just and righteous.

God is sooo powerful He can destroy all evil in a second! Yet He is sooo loving and gentle he can create the frailty... Of a butterflies wing with distinct colors and design of a Master of all artists! 
And He loves sooo strong...He tolerates us, flaws and all. Praise You God! You love me deeply...and I am Yours!
