God is with you right now....I hate the invisible thing with a passion and wish we could see eye to eye like Adam and Eve did walking with God in the garden....Why oh why did they disobey?

Direction....first pray about what and where God wants you to be church wise and then get the local phone directory and start visiting churches for a while praying that God will direct you to where He would have you end up. I would make sure the church teaches and preaches salvation through Jesus and are active in spreading the gospel/good news that Jesus Saves.

Pray God helps you find the job that He wants you in and then beat the internet to death as it seems you must apply online these days....I personally am not too fond of this as no one sees a real person so impersonal to me but they didn't ask my opinion it's just the way things are in today's world....I pray you will find what you are seeking

Just know that God does love you and He is a big enough God to take your yelling at Him....I remember I was angry at Him one time walking across a parking lot to my car saying I'm not talking to You....and I heard a little chuckle in my head with a question.....What are you doing now? Yep, even though I was mad I was still talking to Him and best part was He was listening.
I appreciate your story and can relate. The problem with me is that I've drifted so far away from God that it's almost like I'm not saved. It sure isn't like the old days when I first heard about Christ 24 years ago.
I feel like I need Him to make a real loving gesture toward me to know where I stand with Him, otherwise I feel like I've been tossed overboard and given up on. I've probably given God plenty of reasons to toss me aside.

Rest in Jesus, have faith and, at the right time, He will help you finding the right church for you and a job.

I´ll pray for you.

God bless!

Thanks. Funny how those who acted like they wanted to engage in a conversation with me just made their one comment and then clammed up. Just like at real church!

Brother, every one here want to help you. :) I do pray that you find a good church because it´s very important. I had some problems also in the past about churches but the Lord showed me a very good one and how it´s important to live with our brothers and sisters in Jesus. Praise the Lord!

I´ll be here for you, dear brother. You may pm me every time you want.

God bless you!

Your attitude runs counter to modern Christianity, which dictates a TV-show mentality to human relations (i.e. - If something can't be resolved in 22 minutes, count most Christians out).

"Obey Me more and you will be guided more"
This is what God answered me when I asked Him for direction and guidance. It means do what He had already told you to do, and do not stress about what He did not yet tell you to. God does not give laundry lists of things to do... contrary to my expectations. Really took me a while to understand that. There is peace in His guidance.
It might be that God wants you to draw closer to Him now, and that He esteems that this is what you need to be healed and strengthened, rather than listening to a man at the pulpit? I believe with all my heart that you will be provided with guidance. It looks to me like God is not answering you immediately on purpose, is a direction in itself - He wants to cause you to spend more time alone with Him and seeking Him. You're doing exactly what God wants you to be doing.

I dunno..... After 2 months it looks like you are the one who forgot. Musta not mean't that much after all, eh?
How could I forget? I'm the one with the issue. I guess you expected me to stay online all the time, eh?
Nice sarcasm, though. You suddenly swoop in with a silly one-liner, having said nothing prior.
Funny how the world so thoroughly infects the church.

If you have nothing constructive for me, stay out of it.

Thanks for the constructive (unlike the Jerry Seinfeld wannabes here) advice. You may have a point.
By the way, what flag is that?

No I won't..... You criticize those who posted only one time they're praying for you, yet you didn't bother to keep up with this Op for 2 months!

Before you judge them, go look in the mirror & confront your own hypocrisy.

Does anyone else smell a troll?

Yeah, I smell one. YOU.
Your entire purpose in this thread (and a few others I've seen) is to denigrate. Get a life.
The reason I haven't kept up with this is because I wasn't here! I don't live online, like you apparently do.
With your God-like omniscience, didn't you know I wasn't here?
Quit being a jerk and grow up. Oh, and here's a mirror for YOU.

The Wanderer, never mind. I know how it is to be seeking direction, and no need to take notice or be upset w/ distractions. I understand how it is to have tinitis for i did recently too and it recurred. One thing others advised who had is to mask it w/ white noise to at least make it bearable like recording of rain or the beach, but that of course doesnt stop it. Others suggest green grasses like barley and wheat for faster healing (other ailments too), but the best and most you can do is hold on to your faith. Faith in the Healer. If only we'd look only unto Him and not see the waves around us.

Hi folks. Without getting too personal, I need help with a couple of things.
Firstly, I need God to show me a good church to become a part of. I've been wandering for too long and I need the spiritual support and structure a good church can provide. I'm constantly falling into sin.
Secondly, I need God to show me what career path to embark upon. I've been out of work now for over a year.

Please pray for these things and ask God to show me, beyond the shadow of a doubt, which way to go on both these issues. I really need an unambiguous direction from Christ so that I can't make a mistake in the flesh and mess things up worse by going the wrong way, while thinking maybe it was God's direction when I first embark upon it.
Wanderer, have YOU asked God to show the right church to go to, and what career path you should take? You seem awfully angry at the ones who have posted here. Try setting aside that anger, and better yet, ask God to take this anger away from you. Ask him to speak to your heart in an unmistakable voice so that you know it's truly him. Then set aside some quiet time to pray and listen for his voice. He won't lead you astray, just listen and he will tell you. :)

Lord, please help Wanderer find the best church that you would have him join. Help him quiet down and listen for your voice. Take the anger and frustrtion he has away from him, and bind the one who set it upon him. Help him find a great job doing what he likes. Touch him with your love, bless him with your mercy. Lay your hand upon him and guide him onto the path you have laid out for him. In Jesus' name, amen.

Wanderer, SoulWeaver has just come back to this site, after a lengthy abscence. You can't fault her for not answering right off the bat..

You apparently didn't follow the course of events. I asked SoulWeaver what flag that was on his/her profile. He/she came back and liked the next comment without answering me. How long does it take to say what flag it is?
