nice, but what if people turn the T.V off for the commercial messages, it'll be to late, but yes we cry, and they lie. Then they make us cry some more, so yes you are right, but if we see through the lies, we don't cry. Is this a poem, need to sleep, last post for now
I don't think men lie in general. One of the traits I admire about men is they just tell it like it is directly.

Most people, men and women, will tell something two or three different ways, to keep from lying about it.

I personally think emotions and how one shares, reflects, etc. depends on what they have lived through in their life. As I age I find that I tend to hold almost all emotion regarding myself from every one. I feel it's basically because everyone relies on me to help them through the struggles and turmoil and that there is no one there for me to lean on. Therefore I am the strength that holds every one and everything together. The last man I dated was highly emotional. His feelings would be hurt over everything, he would think the world was always against him. I could not hang with it, I felt if it was a life or death situation I'd have to protect his wimpy butt. I like a man to be able to share, be emotional and strong.
You need chocolate... or raspberries, or whatever kind of food you think it's the best thing in the world to enjoy. And then enjoy it. Truly, truly enjoy it. All by your lonesome, so you are free to express emotions.

Free up your face. Emotions are okay to express most of the time. The good ones included. It's okay not to be so strong as to feel convicted that a good food drool, a good hearty laugh or a good "does it get any better than this" moment can't be shown. It's also okay to cry, have hissy fits, and stomp your feet if you got to. (Just don't stomp feet if you have a car like my first car. Nothing between me and the road but the carpet. lol) If it's too embarrassing to do in front of anyone, then I go to my room and get it out. (Last time I got caught in a hissy fit was when hubby came home from work early one day. "No, honey." I have no idea how that chair got on the other side of the room." Granted, telling that whopper got me out of the hissy fit into a good laugh from the embarrassment of the hissy fit. Also the last time I threw a chair. lol Just a small chair. Don't worry. I can't throw my recliner. lol)

If you like a man willing to show emotions, then be a woman willing to show emotions. Be what you want others to be around you, but be yourself. The only thing wrong (and it's not like that was a small thing) with the last guy you dated was his melodrama, not his emotions.

You really need some raspberries or chocolate. (I salivate even when I think about them. lol) You need some joy, so you can seriously get into the joy.

Heya :) I'm learning things from the word of the Lord. What do ya guys think about Joseph's loud wailing for his brothers, that betrayed him, that everyone heard, in the bottom verses? He could of held it in, even as being a great Govenor and having status, he didn't have to do that, but you know what I feel, that most of the men in the bible mentioned here, and Jesus wept, and they were used in a great way. It takes a lot of emotional strength to be Gentle, because of the storms of life, that could make you hard, and unfeeling. To push back those waves, and still be kept on the rock of our savior, in his peace, and in his fruits, which gentleness is, you need to be strong. These men all were greatly used by the Lord, and yet they all cried.

Sometimes I think, as the scriptures say, cry unto the Lord with thy whole heart, could also be doing this in prayers, with or without tears.
It says so in many places, I cried unto the Lord and he heard me, and delivered me out of a horrible pit.
Does it make you feel feminine to cry unto the Lord, these men of God were not intimidated what other's thought, they must of been abased, and not proud, tender, and not calloused.

Just saying, as the word is our bread, lets partake :)

Genesis 50:1 Joseph threw himself upon his father and wept over him and kissed him.

I've only seen little children do that. Sometimes men also to their loved ones, it is a deep language that doesn't have words, but it is felt deep within us, and I think it is a language in it's own.

Genesis 29:11 Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud.

Jacob married Leah Rachel's sister, because when he tricked his dying father, it came back on him, being tricked that he was marrying Rachel, they had those long veils, u know, and I quess there was no kiss after the I do's. But he soon found out. He had to work 7 or more years bribed by his father in law to get Rachel. He cried, even after this length of time, he wasn't calloused, or bitter, he must of knew that what he did, came back to him, and was sorry, as he wept.

Oh ok. It could of been macho man, hey bro. how has it been, neck hug, shake hands, oh o.k. but their was, REAL emotion. Some real HOT STUFF coming out of these guys, maybe Joseph, maybe because he was next to the youngest, after his brother Benjamin, and the older you get the more hardened from life, and calloused. Joseph was tender hearted.

See here it is saying his younger brother Benjamin also wept. Be careful the callous could cover the crying, and praying, being sensitive to the Spirit of the Lord. { The Holy Spirit}

  • 1 Samuel 20:41 After the boy had gone, David got up from the south side of the stone and bowed down before Jonathan three times, with his face to the ground. Then they kissed each other and wept together – but David wept the most.
1 Samuel 24:16 When David finished saying this, Saul asked, “Is that your voice, David my son?” And he wept aloud.
1 Samuel 30:4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep.
2 Samuel 1:12 They mourned and wept and fasted till evening for Saul and his son Jonathan, and for the army of the Lord and the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword.
2 Samuel 3:16 Her husband, however, went with her, weeping behind her all the way to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, “Go back home!” So he went back.
2 Samuel 3:32 They buried Abner in Hebron, and the king wept aloud at Abner’s tomb. All the people wept also.
2 Samuel 12:21 His servants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!”
2 Samuel 12:22 He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’
2 Samuel 13:36 As he finished speaking, the king’s sons came in, wailing loudly. The king, too, and all his servants wept very bitterly.
2 Samuel 15:30 But David continued up the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went; his head was covered and he was barefoot. All the people with him covered their heads too and were weeping as they went up.
2 Samuel 18:33 The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept. As he went, he said: “O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you – O Absalom, my son, my son!”
2 Samuel 19:1 Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”

This is at not not even noticed, like something put on notice, do not look, read, or fully understand. There is a reason why crying is something that the HOly Spirit wanted to incorporate into the divinely inspired word of God. Here it is saying, they even wept, till exhaustion, the servants, and everyone. It is a language, back then, when the miracles of Elijah, and all the Old testament Phrophets, and the New Testament Miracles, it is not hard to cry, at the sight of someone receiving their healing, or being delivered from demons, and set free to be in their right mind. TODAY; many times people think a person could be emotionally unstable, if they are engaged in a conversation with someone, and feel they want to express themselves fully, and cry, or try to show how urgent a situation is; they automatically consider this person, in need of psychotherapy. REad these scripture's posted, someone could say, these people are all wacked, cry at the drop of a hat, and exhaust themselves, praying, till the cows come home. I tend to be emotional at times, and feel if I want to cry, in public, I will do so, regardless of what someone thinks, eventually, I believe in the future, there will come a time, that praying out loud even by yourself, will make someone appear, deranged, or psychotic, detached from reality, in fact there could be no more truth, to this, than being in the center, of reality, praying to a living God, who is not dead. WE as believers know this, but it is becoming more prevalent, and obvious, that wearing religious things, T shirts, with Jesus, is propaganda to the unbelievers, it means nothing and is outlawed. John the Baptist, cried with a loud voice, repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. It very clear says, that were not to be luke warm believers, neither, in the word, or in the wickedness of the world. However I tend not to pray outside aloud. There's a reason for this also, Jesus said, when you pray, go in secret, in your closet, as do it personally.

Coming from a penticostal background, it was not unusual for a father who's son was in intensive care, to kneel on the pew, or ground in the church, and wail, out loud, unto the Lord. It is a family thing, that all pray, and all cry at times.
It is a language that is close to the heart of God, whether it is verbal, loud, or within quiet, reserved, and unspoken, it is still a cry, that the Lord will listen.

Galations 4:6

I love this because it says it very powerfully, cry unto our Father God Abba in hebrew, how much more powerful could this saying be, because the Spirit of his Son Jesus Christ is with in us, we have the right to cry unto the Father.

It means nothing to put a piece of paper into the basket, without rendering your heart.
The heart gets hard and dry at times, doesn't it say,
Break up the fallow ground, so it will be soft soil, good soil, and ready for planting, the seeds of Faith, so you will grow, rooted, and grounded strong.

Of all the murders, and criminal activities, how many have stood before the Judge, and wept in repentance, it's the opposite they plead not guilty.Hard cold and calloused, hearts, not tender broken in sorrow remorsed, and repentive
There is a difference, between Jesus Christ's spirit living with us, within
then those who do not have him.

When I cry, I feel closer to the FAther, then ever, because it is a one on one, discussion, that he listens to, Psalm 91; call unto me and I will deliver you, and sustain you. The bible verse that says, " The Lord God has our tears in a bottle." I believe those tears are poured out upon those who are inflicting the pain, upon those who believer in Jesus Christ, and one day, those tears will be multiplied like a tsunami wave of destruction upon them, for our tears, are the elements of those huge waves, that destroyed Pharaoh, and all his armies, I know in my spirit when I call upon the Father, and cry, I know he is gathering those tears in preparation of the wave to wipe out the enemies from amongst us. :)

The more I think about it, I like the idea that God has mingled all our tears together. The Psalm does refer to God’s “bottle” in the singular. And if He has collected every tear in that bottle, then mingled with our own are the tears of Jesus. In John 11, the apostle records this event: “Jesus wept.” John 11:35.
[h=4]In this passage, Jesus weeps when He learns of the death of Lazarus.[/h]When they see Him weeping, the people say “See how he loved him!”John 11:36. But I don’t think Jesus was weeping because Lazarus was dead – He knew He was going to raise Lazarus from the dead. Rather, I think He wept because of the compassion He felt for humanity as we weep over our own tragedies and losses. It is us that He loved so much that it brought Him to tears.
This is copied from a website; but beautifully put.

Those who do not know Jesus as savior, do not know that
He is very near to the broken hearted; it is his responsibility
and his loving care, to heal us, for he said;
"I've come to heal the broken hearted, and bind up their wounds."
He does fight for us, he will keep his word.
Though friends break their vows, and
loyalty to you,
Jesus said, "I am a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."
He is loyal, was, is and said,
I will never leave you nor
FORSAKE YOU.
HE HAS our back, covered with his love, because he once felt that
pain on his back.
