I am not a crybaby jkalyna. The way I was raised we were punished for tattling and crying. My elders were all stoic men who fought in and survived world wars and major wars. I never saw any of them cry a single time in my entire life.

One of my grandfathers (silver star, bronze star, purple heart, etc...) did tell me that the ghosts of his dead comrades visited him in his dreams and asked him "why?" He said he told them that didn't know why. That was the closest any male member of my family ever came to expressing sadness that I can remember.
no problem you know dna is something that is so exquisitely unique, and beautiful a strand. They say no two people's DNA is a like, so then we can't even compare ourselves to Christ, were all uniquely made, for a reason.

That wouldn't be good crying all the time, It would help to show emotional stability, to the women, as the women is the weaker vessel, in what ever sense that means, emotionally, I know physically, you guys lift weights and get muscles, we do the same thing or I do, just get toned, and wouldn't want to look like that anyway, so yeah, were different. REally in a complemtary way. Wo man

It's sometimes the silent quietness within that speaks in a man.

Rather than the outside strengths.

For the record, no body looking like that is coming near me.

I'm not silent. Rather, I express myself in word and deed instead of tears.

I know we women cry, but it would be better for men to cry, than to do other things, to take their pain out. I think men are more emotional, because they hide it deep with in them, like it's not good to cry, and talk about it, but I think when a man crys, he is really tender hearted, and it is hard to break a rock, though water did come forth from one once,,
I'm not emotional. I'm Not. I'm NOT. I'M NOT! Take it back. Take IT back. TAKE IT BACK!!!

Actually, I think men and women are equal on the emotions thingy. We just deal with them differently... or not.

example of men and women getting emotional:

I took your chocolate.

Woman: What?!! I'm gonna kill you!

Man: Cool, I wasn't gonna eat it anyway..it's stale..

LOL  :p
Then he's not allowed to have my chocolate because he doesn't understand IT'S STILL CHOCOLATE! LOL

lol that is really funny ladybluebird, I was at a church thing once and the wife make chicken and it was like a rock, she's still wondering why he cheated. " The way to the man's heart is through his stomach," worldly, and same with Esau, "Porridge, make him poor of receiving his father's blessing. Why men love food is another thread maybe.
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. True. That's why he does the cooking. lol

Also, I read a blurb of a study once. It said men think about sex ever three seconds. Women think about food every seven seconds. I think food is more of a woman's thing. That's why God invented raspberries and had someone figure out sweet chocolate beats using unsweetened chocolate in spicy foods. lol

The motorcycle won't start. Can't figure out why. :D
In the words of Lucy Brown (Charlie Brown's sister), "How does that make you feel?" That will cost you a nickle. :D

I'm emotional...I get all emotional when I hear a hot V8 screaming across the redline hitting 9000 rpm down a stretch before grabbing another gear.
What's a hot V8? Is it hotter than a hot V5? Is a V100 really hot? How hot is the sun comparatively in the V realm? Is a V1 cold?

And what's 9000 rpm? Is that the speed of a record player?

Gear = something that will break if I use it. (Men taught me this definition. lol)

Well, my hubby is an anomaly! He is very emotional -- much more than me! The littlest thing can set him off sometimes -- reading about someone's kindness, hearing stories from vets, a simple act of kindness. It's pretty cool that he is so in touch with his feelings and emotions.
Hubby taught me hugs are good things. I was never a hugger before he came along.

When we watch ET (the movie), we have a competition going. Who can hold off without crying the longest. Most of the time we catch the other one grabbing the tissue box at the same time. I've only made it once through THAT scene without crying. I cheated. I wandered off in my mind so I wouldn't see it. lol He's made it through without crying three times. (I didn't ask how he did it -- probably because I'm too busy choking on the lump in my throat and laughing because I am crying all at the same time.)

Thanks, but I'm not sure how to take that LOL!

I may look serious, but I'm actually very light-hearted and funny. :D
Actually, it looks like you're busy trying not to squint from the sun in your eyes, and the click went off a nanosecond too soon.

Most of my outdoor shots look like something is wrong with my eyelids. Same reason. I'm squinting. lol

I'm not that emotional, but I have an excellent memory.... and I DO get even.
Pffft! You let the cat out of the bag. I still remember the story of your dog. Nonemotional Guy doesn't pray for his dog's hearing loss.
