You are the guy at the back of church who sits by themselves and everyone avoids because of there massive definition of who is in the kingdom and who is not, and how this preacher is ok and that one not.

I am a church deacon. And I actually lead church services on a 4 man rotation where I teach the word.

I am not afraid to answer questions, I answer them all and have since I have been here. You people come in here thinking your Gods gift, You spout your propaganda, Are questioned, Get mad because people have the NERVE to question you. Then after being asked the same question over and over, and start to be called out for not responding to the question, you divert to making attacks on a persons character, and everything else.

I been here for almost 4 years. Your not the first to do this, you will not be the last. But I have to laugh that it keeps happening over and over and over...

You are right again, I should not have assumed after 20+ years in the church you have no come across one on the basic tools used. You live and learn.

I now understand where we differ. You have no communion with the Lord, or infilling of the Holy Spirit, or experience of teaching, guidance, conviction, growth, transformation with the Lord. So which word has God laid on your heart today?

He spoke to me about you. How convinced you are on your mission, and how lost you are in picking victims. Do you realise your ministry is one of condemnation, of judgementalism and sin.

I would like all who will to read just how this person understood what was being posted about my mother's heroic effort to have a healthy child in spit of her then poverty. Read and understand just why trying to reach some folks is a dialog with the deaf............

I know of a woman who weighed over 200 pounds while carrying her fifth child. She was 5'2". She was poor, and had a poor man's diet of lots of beans, food cooked in lard, and more. Poor people tend to be overweight dut to the need to consume more in order to obtain nutrients. Never the less, her baby was born with rickets, which was overcome by diet, mainly drinking pet condensed mild for many years. I was the baby, and my mother did all she could to asure I would be born as healthy a possible. Was my mother sinning? She did "overeat" in order to obtain nutrients for herself and her child.

It is not good to be glib about even hypothetical situations if you ae not fully appraised of all the contributing factors. And please, do not bring up the gluttony angle again, because YES, my mother over ate, and it probably saved my life.

So you're excusing her sin because she is your mother. Your stripes are on full display, hypocrite. How about not bringing someone into the world when you don't have the financial means or an environment that is conducive to healthy living for the child?

Now I don't actually adhere to the tenets of the above words I just posted, but they are food for thought.

But one tenet I do hold to is, that people who always condemn others for their sins, always seem to have a rationalizing excuse regarding their own sins. Funny how that works, isn't it?

By your words you are vindicated and by your words you are condemned. Your own words condemn you once again. Adding to someone else's post in order to twist the truth and push an agenda; an agenda that is contrary to the full and complete saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Why should it matter to others, what a person's weight is caused by? I mean, it's not anyone else's business, and I think it's rude to ponder on it or ask them about it: "excuse me but why are you so fat?" Obesity is caused by a multitude of things, yet most commonly, some people see an obese person and say "wow she must really shovel in the food." I've actually heard people say that before and it's disgusting. :/

As I was not being rude in my response, and Utah is the one who brought up the obesity issue.

I answered him and even came to him stating how we are to be careful of labeling people, as I mentioned the same as you that obesity is caused by multiple things and not just gluttony. As for sin no sin is acceptable in the eyes of God all deliberate unrepented sinful actions lead the same direction !!!

I am not God. I cannot say who is or is not called. I am called merely to spread the seed, and water it. It is God who gives the growth and God who does the calling. I bow to His will and His grace.

Can I lose my salvation? Yes. But why would I? Jesus is eternal, the King of Kings, the conquerer of death, the giver of life, love, the truth, the definer of the heart of man. No where else can I find such wisdom and victory, under no other banner is written, I rose from the dead, believe in me to gain eternal life.

So what is purpose of your question. The Lord of Hosts would question you today why your pursue His people as if they are an enemy? Which side do you really stand on, or are you too afraid to really let Him have sovereignty over your life?

You doubt, yet He died for you, he went to the cross in front of some of the most evil, sinful people the world could dredge up and He said nothing.

I bow, I lay prostate before His holiness, His grace, I am a man undone, nothing and no one can compare to who and what He is, the creator of the universe become a man, and to walk with us and to finally humble himself to a murderers death.
He changed my life, has been my Lord through thick and thin and to Him I give all the honour, Amen.

To wipe out legalism in the church, because it has caused so many people to walk away from God. or not even Give God a second look (please note. Legalism is different from obedience, they are not the same)

There are a number of people here who copy and paste posts/blogs from other sources, and it is true they do not get a lot of attention, probably in part because the sources are sometimes seen as heretical. One or two people used to get attention because they never gave the sources they were plagiarizing from, until they started giving the source. Now they are largely ignored.

This is completely true as even when sources are given they still get ignored because of how a person was brought up in their teachings if they counter what they have been told.

I have multiple times posted direct quotes form 2nd and 3rd Century Apostles and leaders of the early church beginnings that clearly showed that OSAS or eternal security was not taught in the first 3 centuries.

I was accused of using Catholic doctrine which is a false understanding as the Catholic church did not start tell the 4th century. Then doctrines such as those came out starting in the 4th century from Augustine on, and so did other defiling of the word of God including that of adding new meanings and usages to the original Greek.

I know this doesn't go over well with some on here and I am sorry for that, but God's truth has to be shown over what man considers truth !!!

That's mainly what I was referring to. Personal studies with only scriptures. I've seen some really great studies that covered every single verse on the subject, just kind of disappear without much notice.

Those are always the best and most edifying kinds of posts. IMO

Perhaps a better tactic for OPs would be to post a few Scriptures, just enough to get people's attention and get the conversation going, before adding more relevant to the topic. That would certainly work better for me

You have just placed a person who is walking enmity to God as saved by this response, as the bible is very clear on where deliberate sinful actions that are not repented of lead and it is not salvation through Christ.

The Word of God says that people who continue to live like this are trampling the Son of God underfoot, and they will stand before God and face His judgment and a fiery indignation. (Hebrews 10)

Grace does not excuse sinful behavior, and Apostle Jude clearly says those who take the grace of God to allow lewdness (sinful behavior) are marked for condemnation. (Jude 1:4)

The epistle of Jude needs to be read more often by believers !!!
