Paul prayed three times for God to take something away from Him But God said:
2co 12:9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
so we all look at things wrong from time to time. I believe this is your problem instead Of God not answering your prayers. Like if you can't find anything in your life to give God glory for, then why should God give you anything else. if you can't be thankful for the things God has blessed you with, why should God increase your blessing now. I mean to say what the h-ll have I done to deserve all this, what have you done that you think God should answer your prayer. God always answers prayer, it may not always be the answer we want , sometime it is yes , sometimes no, and then sometimes it is wait or maybe one day, the faith is that when we pray we believe that God has heard that prayer, and that He is able to answer that prayer. so if we pray believeing that God has heard it, then we wait on the Lord to answer on His time and with His answer, If we keep praying about the same thing over and over then that is saying well God must have not heard my prayer so I must pray and keep praying until He does, this is the wrong way to show our faith in him hearing our prayers. I believe you have already determined that God will not answer your prayer, a famous preacher ( I believe it was)wigglesworth, had a father in a wheel chair, and he would tell people not to feel sorry for him or to even pray for him Because he would say that God had healed him already and one day he was walking away from that wheelchair, it was 12 years later but he walked away from the wheelchair. My daughter died at 19, I could have said God why are you so mean, that you would take away my beloved daughter at such an young age. But I chose to praise him that he blessed me with a daughter, even though it was for only 19 years, He didn't have to bless me with any children, but I still have two here with us that I can love. now I can't say that I know what you are going through, But I can say that I have had mine own burdens to bear, and it depends on how we look at these affictions or burdens, it depends on if we see them as blessing or as cursings that may help determine how long we suffering with them. and I know that the way we look at them determines HOW MUCH we suffer from Them. Is God a mean God because he allowed you to have mental problems or is He a good God because He loved you enough to die for you that you might one day have that better life, and that could very well be while you are in this present life as well as maybe til you lay this life down and enter into the new life with Him,
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
