You ,sir,are ridiculous.

We know very little outside revelatory knowledge.

Tell all of us please, since there are no mysteries yet to uncover, who is the antichrist?

John told us who he was. So,since you are all knowing, tell us who he is.

I mean,all you need is a bible.

.....and not the one who wrote it.
And you sir are coming here out of pride not love. The tone in your writing with calling people ridiculous and telling people they don't talk to God proves it.

And, dreams can also simply be personal. After all, time IS running out for each of us. Some here, possibly, may not even see Christmas.
Thats a cheerful thought. I hope we have all kept our receipts for any presents we bought. Seriously though you do have a point and the older you get the sharper that point is.

What are you talking about? Talking with God is called praying. I hear people do it quite frequently.
He said"we know all from scripture"

...as if God himself only quotes the bible

IOW,he talks "to God" ,not "with God"

So I have had two dreams about the end times and I feel like I need to share them because these past few months have really shaken me and shown me the state Christianity is in and it is terrifying. So here goes...

Dream 1: I was outside on my driveway with my parents and we were looking at the stars and the moon because they were pretty. I saw this truck with a ladder pull up to our house and these people tried to get to the moon. Then the moon turned into a clock and these religious symbols burst from it and a voice said, "time is running out". (this next part is really random and I don't think it has anything to do with the end times) Then I found myself in a movie theatre watching a movie about the Bible and I was siting on the armrest of the chair and Peter comes and says, "Um could you not sit on the armrest?" and I said, "oh yeah sorry I forgot" and then I woke up.

Dream 2: I was playing dress up and my parents said, "nikki (an old friend) is here!" I looked outside and she was accross the street so I called to her. She came over and brought gifts for my parents. She brought four plants and chocolate covered pretzils. Then the sky went dark and the moon came out and my mom told me to get pictures of it and I did. Then the moon got really low in the sky. Then these boys came out in this truck that had a lift on it so they could take goofy pictures of themselves holding the moon. Then the moon started to move left and change. It became a clock and the religious symbols burst from it. The hands started to move and a voice said, "time is ticking."

So I'm not 100% sure why these dreams were so similar or even if they were different dreams because I typed one from memory and the other I found on my phone.

Point is this: Pray! Pray! Pray! Because a lot of persecution is going to come from the church itself. It's starting to happen already so please please please please please pray and yes I know I look stupid but I wil happily look stupid if it means that one person stops and seriosuly thinks about this.

Also my dreams could mean absolutly nothing or they could mean something. All I'm doing is bringing up something interesting and giving a word of warning. I don't know the right way to go but God does so ask him! Here's a challenge: Don't respond to this without praying and talking to God first.
As regards the meaning off your dreams, you need to pray through until you hear from God if they are from Him and what they mean to you personally...

As regards ALL things pretaining to the end-times, Second Coming of Christ, Great Tribulation etc, there is only ONE place to find such and that is the Scriptures and NOWHERE else, looking elsewhere will lead you FAR astray and into great error! Matt 24v4, 2Thess 2v1-3, 1Tim 4v1-2, 2Tim 3v1-9,16 (esp. v16)

You can find a few studies Here, Here and Here that should help you as regards all things pertaining to Christ's Second Coming...

Yahweh Shalom

How do you know I wouldn't accept them? I am not one to stubbornly hold to my doctrines and views and not have a learnable and teachable heart. Never assume things

He already gave you the formula:

"We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ."
Actually, you missed a part there. Verbatim, it is "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:not of works, lest any man should boast.", where that semicolon after faith has a qualifier "not of yourselves".

Otherwise you get "We are saved by Grace through faith", and that's where bad misinterpretations come from, because people think the faith does come from them.

Heretics? So talking about a topic on here makes people heretics? She came on here asking for opinions and she is getting them.

Anyone who rejects the truth that Jesus has come in the flesh.

John was shown " a man"

Didn't you claim to know your bible?

New information? Her dream clearly spoke of how time is running out that's not new that was predicted in scripture

1Corinthians 7:29 But let me say this, dear brothers and sisters: The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage
Blain, she claimed her dreams might have "biblical implications."

They don't.

What is the gift of God, Grace or Faith?

Jesus said this would happen, he prophesied that love would wax cold and it has, many new believers have been scared away from cc because of how people react in the bible discussion forum. I cannot say that all my views are correct but I don't debate to prove myself right I go into debates to learn and grow. Something I have learned from being in cc is that if we cannot debate in a mature and loving manner then we shouldn't be debating.

Genesis 1:16, God made the lesser light such as the moon and stars. The possible meaning could be. Stars are imagery of lights that shine in darkness. They also symbolize eternal promises such as when God said that Abraham's seed would be as the stars of heaven( which cannot be numbered, Gen. 15:5). Seeing stars often represents the promises of God, especially during dark or difficult times.

THE Antichrist will be the one who enters the world stage, makes a seven year covenant with Israel, breaks it after three and a half years, and declares himself to be God.

Christians will be raptured before his appearance.

If you want to debate the timing - that is for another thread.

The scriptures clearly say that time is short her dream said this thus yes her dreams do
Then they certainly didn't need any interpretations from Popeye.

We already know the time is short - because the Bible already says that. Which is my whole point. Nothing else needs to be added to the scriptures. No new "revelations" are required.

My point is simply that we cannot add to scripture. It is forbidden. We can debate what is written, but we have no right to think that any "new" information can change the picture. The canon is closed.

Each Christian should have a change in their life style, If they are truly saved. But works doesn't save a person. Can we agree on that?
So here's a hypothetical situation:

Jake has just been saved by grace. One night Jake is bored and picks up his Bible but he is soon bored with that as well. He turns on the computer and starts surfing the internet. He stumbles on to some porn sites that he had frequented as an unbeliever. Thinking to himself no, no I am saved. Saved people don't do this. He hovers his mouse over the x. But then he figures one tiney peek won't hurt and he is really bored and could use some mental stimulation so he takes one peek and that turns into an all nighter of gazing lustfully at a computer screen wrapped in steamy sex fantasies. The next morning Jake feels horrible for what he had done so he repents and tells God how sorry he is and that he will never do it again and that he will put blocks on his computer. After repenting he feels much better because he has been saved by grace.

The next night rolls around and as he is preparing to install the blocks on his computer he decides one last peek for old times sake. So he looks and he is robbed of another nights sleep.

The next day he repents again and feels better due to grace.

Today is a Saturday so he decides to have some fun with some old friends so he decides to go out and have a few beers. What's the harm if he drinks responsibly right? After all if he messes up the grace of Jesus Christ would cover him. So he heads for the bar and when he arrives his friends are there with beers in their hands. They greet him warmly and Jake soon finds himself going way beyond a few beers. The next thing he knows he is bent over the toilet puking his guts out and finds himself praying to God, asking for forgiveness and finding odd comfort in the grace of Jesus Christ.

The next day he goes to church with a pounding headache and does his best to sit through the upbeat worship music. He is grateful when the singing is done and the pastor comes up to speak. As the pastor is speaking he recalls the events of the past week and he begins to feel some conviction but the pastor says, "The Bible has countless verses that talk of the great grace of Jesus Christ. In order to recieve salvation we must recieve this wonderful gift." I want that. Please God let me have it. I will recieve it! Jake thinks.

The pastor goes on to say, "If you messed up this week take a moment and say this prayer with me, father, I am so sorry I sinned against you. I freely and wholey accept your free gift of forgiveness. Amen."

Jake repeats the verse silently in his heart and goes home feeling renewed...

That night he went back to the computer screen to look at porn secure in the grace of Jesus Christ.
