On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace tried to explain to Trump the latest favorability ratings that show Trump with a 62% unfavorable rating among women, a 76% unfavorable rating among blacks and a 79% unfavorable rating among Hispanics. Trump responded, of course, by stating he thinks he will win the Hispanic vote.

Poll: Clinton would sail to win over Trump

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton would easily defeat GOP counterpart Donald Trump in a general election matchup, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released early Monday.Clinton would cruise to a 10-point win over Trump, pollsters found, 50 to 40 percent, with the help of independent and Hispanic voters.
Clinton would also beat Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) by just 3 points, 48 to 45 percent, within the poll’s margin of error.
But she would lose to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) by 3 points and Ben Carson by 1 point in hypothetical head-to-head matchups.
Pollsters found independent voters would back Rubio over the former secretary of State by a 7-point margin. He would lose the Hispanic vote to Clinton, however, by 23 points. Rubio also takes the highest percentage of female voters among the GOP candidates, but falls short in that demographic to Clinton by 7 points.
Clinton holds a 19-point lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the new poll. Four percent of respondents backed former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
The NBC News/Wall Street Journal, conducted December 6-9, has a margin of error of 3.4 percent.

While I think Trump would have a hard time beating Clinton, this is just one Poll, and it is quite early. Neither has the Nomination YET............Both still have time to implode.

IM0, neither has a firm grasp on reality, and both believe they are "entitled." As well, for many years, they were friends, and Trump gave quite a lot of money to her over the years. Makes one wonder............well, makes me wonder.

Trump gave money to all these politicians ..he gave more to Romney and McCain and seen how stupid these establishment republicans are .... If he gave to Hillary over Obama ...I think that was smart at the time.

Its amazing how someone could look at a poll that trump wins and then try to figure out how he cant win by looking at Hispanics and women? That's insane ! They ask trump "how you going to win"? He says "im winning by 5 points" in your own poll..FOX! That you paid millions to take .... Right ...Trump is the silly one

It's silly how people are worshipping him like he's a God.. I think the guy is a hothead and one wrong look he'll send the entire military I to war. Our national mascot even doesn't like him. A bald eagle attacked him while trying to give a speech. What does that say? I mean look you even changed your picture to one of him.. Can't do that for Jesus, though?

That's stupid ...no one is worshipping him..but just defending him and his right to run for president. I hope he is a hothead and puts the fear of God into these muslim monsters that have been made bold by Obamas weakness... We need another Reagan type to make the world stable again. And the eagle did not attack him..thats such a silly lie ...you guys cant defeat him with logic or reason...just silly lies. Don't pretend to that you represent Jesus ...because you don't.

That's not entirely true. The Fox poll shows Trump is leading Clinton by 5 points. Back in June, Clinton led Trump by 17 points. The NBC / Wall Street Journal poll just out shows Clinton leading Trump by 10 points. The USA Today / Suffolk poll has Clinton leading Trump by 4 points. The CNN / ORC poll has Clinton up by 3 points. Quinnipiac has Clinton up by 6 points.

Like Trump, you can call all polls other than Fox worthless, yet those very same polls you call liberal polls, show Rubio is beating Clinton in all but Quinnipiac, where he trails her by 1 point. Carson leads Clinton in the CNN poll, the NBC poll, and the Fox poll.

The reason Trump is now doing so poorly against Clinton is that he has a 79% disapproval with Hispanic voters. That's worse than Romney had. He cannot win against Clinton being so disliked by blacks, women, and Hispanics. What he can do, and he probably will do is run as an independent to insure that both he and Rubio lose to Clinton. Maybe Hillary will thank him and make him ambassador to Mexico.

Several factors would lead me to believe a Trump victory is possible.

1. Success up to this point. It defies the laws of political physics. I don't see why he can't continue to do so.

2. Whether his large base of moderate non-voters (low information vote) actually shows up to the polls. If they do, then there is a great deal that the polls will not be able to tell us.

3. Intervening events. If there is, for example, another 9/11 style terror attack on the US, the Democrats could nominate Mickey Mouse and they would still be running the gauntlet as opposed to running for office. A unified, if reluctantly unified, Republican Party around Donald Trump showing a strong national defense message would be a huge force.

4. Read my lips- FLOHVA. Battleground states are important and occasionally hard to predict often coming down to the edge of a knife in polling. I can try and read the tea leaves for you, but even now it would be too difficult.

5. Trump is already competing for and winning moderate to liberal voters. Some Democratic states will be in play that were not beforehand.

I stress after writing this that possible is different than likely. Were the election held today, I do think Clinton would win.

But November's first Tuesday in 2016 is a long, long way off.

Detroit became the largest U.S. city ever to file for bankruptcy in 2013.

In 2004 Metro Detroit had one of the largest settlements of Middle Eastern people, including Arabs and Assyrians/Chaldeans, in the United States. As of 2007 about 300,000 people in Southeastern Michigan traced their descent from the Middle East. Dearborn's sizeable Arab community consists largely of Lebanese and many Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac who immigrated for jobs in the auto industry in the 1920s, and of more recent Yemenis and Iraqis. In 2010 four Metro Detroit counties had at least 200,000 people of Middle Eastern origin. Bobby Ghosh of TIME said that some estimates gave much larger numbers. From 1990 to 2000 the percentage of people speaking Arabic in the home increased by 90% in the Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties region, with a 106% increase in Wayne County, a 99.5% increase in Macomb County, and a 41% increase in Oakland County.
From 1990 to 2000 Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties had an increase of 16,632 people who were born in Iraq. The publication "Arab, Chaldean, and Middle Eastern Children and Families in the Tri-County Area" of the From a Child's Perspective: Detroit Metropolitan Census 2000 Fact Sheets Series states that "Arab and Chaldean representation cannot be determined" in that figure. During the same period there was an increase of 7,229 people born in Lebanon. The Iraqi community in Metro Detroit supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Meanwhile, Christians are being stoned by Muslims in America and nobody does anything about it.

It's not a lie when there's a video showing it. And I don't need to change my avatar to show my faith in Jesus, but that's neither here nor there. What is here is Trump is a human being. He's imperfect. I know that's hard for his supporters to believe, because they act like schoolgirls when thinking about him or even something like hearing he had cereal for breakfast. The guy I'm voting for, Carson, is imperfect. Every politician is imperfect. They're flawed because they're human like you and me. I see no evidence of Trump turning this country to Christian beliefs. Aren't we supposed to do ALL things for Christ? You can't say that for Trump. I'd rather have a man of faith that would seek God in these types of decisions than a guy that's so far out there in lala land.

I am sitting on the confused couch on this one...I lived under 12 presidents and voted for 8 , my heart just breaks if only we could take all the candidates and morph them into l person, sigh, JFK and Bay of Pigs scared me to death, red alert at Ft Bragg, Nixon was just spooky nervous little man, Carter is a kind soul now that he is out, Clinton is nasty bits ,Johnson had all that paperwork already filled out before Jackie even got out of her bloodied pink suit, sigh, Reagan was great till they went to soothsayers and they hid his Alzheimer, Bush seemed to kick butt , but read my lips, no more taxes, Obama has a agenda that scares the libben bejebbers out of me, dont even get me talking about Sarah Palin and the horrible turkey beheading press conf, or the I am mother bear watch me roar, but I do respect her for the kindness she has shown to her sweet son, i still am so unhappy with the shrieking harpie...she whos name can not be mentioned...a lot of dark secrets from Bengazi..oh well i feel so old this time when i vote..my heart is shrinking,,but i pray the Holy Spirit will fill me with Grace and Courage to get through the next year..

No one is claiming Trump is perfect... But the folks that don't like him are even less perfect and only seem to be able to make-up nonsense and lie against him... the kind of lies and deception that make me wonder if the old serpent himself is not behind these attacks against him? The guy is what he says he is..he is speaking truth about things that everyone else is afraid to say...he is challenging the stupid and corrupt political class ... He has proven that he can do the things that he says he can do ...he seems to have much more sense than those that attack him. He is winning and if you don't like it? Vote for Hillary or leave the country :)

The latest Fox Poll shows trump beating Hillary ... the last poll was done in December ..... It don't matter about Mexicans or women..trump wins ! how hard it that to understand ? And I promise you if the poll has him ahead by 5 points ..that means its really about 10 points.

I think you missed where I said I was voting for Carson.. As for Trump, well to be fair he really hasn't proven anything yet. Other than that he can talk. A lot. Just like all the other politicians.
