No list would be complete without Chick (a young woman) and Bread ($$) :)
And how about Old Man or Old Lady? LOL. They could be any age ;)
Don't you ever want to talk together again?
We had such a friendship even two months ago.
We talked of love, as we should.

Between the message of love from all our music,
and the message of True Love from Jesus and The Word,
are you just never even going to be friends,
never communicate with each other again at all?

Will someone answer, am I the worst, most deplorable
person to ever walk the face of the earth?

How can so much love be talked about,
how can two people have been friends,
and there's just absolutely nothing,
when one has tried over and over to get
some kind of communication, and the other
just continues to treat the one as if he is
the most hated ogre ever, all the while songs of love
and hope continually are being posted.
How can this be? I keep trying to understand
how this message of love can be true, when
all I keep being given is hate. How can this be?

Seeing Richard Harris singing earlier made me think of 4 dark days too long ago when the steady drum beat led a cadence of a horse drawn caisson trailed by the handsome "riderless horse" stallion taking our President to his grave. Our Camelot had become but a dream, merrily merrily. Then a few years later I was a junior in hs and took a girl to see the movie Camelot and as I thought back over it, that February night with a girl named Karen was my camelot and but a dream as well. This final scene still inspires me to this day, tho I don't know why.

I was listening to a lot of this music last year at this time.
It all started with this song... oh, how I remember this song! :)
Jimmy Webb wrtoe this song, and nobody would sing it
until Richard Harris wanted to launch a musical career...
After Richard made it famous a few people did it, including
Glen Campbell, and disco diva Donna Summer.

Oh yeah, remember this too and people reading Kahil Gibran.

Someone mentioned the Avengers TV show. Some others we had here were The Prisoner (I am not a number!) Adam Adamant and The Fugitive. They were very popular and went on for weeks. I have the DVDs of The Prisoner and Adam Adamant the acting in that one was awful LOL

The song that I mostly remember hearing on the radio by Paul Revere and the Raiders when I was a kid was Cherokee Nation.

For sure, the Beach Boys are awesome. Used to remember listening to that song and wondering what it would be like to have omeone to sleep with at night, nothing sexual, just being close to someone.
