Did youall notice that we lost Zavok?
How the world was made and hot and cold did not have any thing to do with his need.
What we believe did not have any thing to do with his need.
He needed to see that God is not a thing, but like us, with feelings too. That He loves Zavok, as much as He loves us.
I pray for this lost and confused soul, who has been blinded by the devil to see God as something less than human.

All I can say is, atheists, whether they believe in Evolution or not, are not married to the theory or clinging to it in a desperate death grip. They can see that Christians who advocate for Creationism or Intelligent Design (it doesn't matter which idea) cannot let go of it - not even a little bit - without their whole faith and doctrine crashing down around them.
We always like to think that the parable of the wise man building his house on a rock is the Christian who has a literal belief in the word and God; and the fool as the nonbelievers. I think the fool describes the mentally rigid man who build his entire faith system on one idea and when it is placed into question, scrambles to stop the cards from falling.
Atheists simply love to poke at these houses of cards and watch them sway and collapse.
The key to solid faith and mental health is:
Emotional regulation
The ability to suspend your disbelief
Flexibility - cognitive, emotional, and behavioral
Increasing your tolerance for feeling negative emotions
Determining your responsibilities from others

Well you judge Him without meeting Him, and you believe He is judging you, but only because someone who does not know has told you. I am not judging you. Can I talk to you without you judging me? We cannot talk without some place where we can see that we are not judging each other. I don't care what you do or who or what you are, if you want to talk about God, then let's talk, without any judgment.
Many years ago someone told me that when you become angry at God, you are more real and honest before him than many others .
Tell God of your feeling and thoughts, tell him what you think.
Then read the bible to see what his answers are.
Dare yourself to discover what God Our Father has to say to you through Jesus and the word.
Dare to discover what the Love of Jesus is truelly about.

No, the only thing I would expect to happen is that you might see things a little differently, maybe a little more openly, not so shut off.
I was a pretty hard case at one time. Drugs, booze, women, fast cars, (well, I still like fast cars,) anything and everything which would make me feel better, or even just occupy me for a while, and keep my mind off of what was really bothering me. "Why!"
