T
GEN 3:2
"The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”"
OK ... so whenever we think of Adam and Eve and their disobedience we remember that they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But, personally, I always forget that they were commanded not to touch it either.
I think there must have been something for us to learn by that, and would be interested in hearing what scriptures, if any, the Holy Spirit brings to you on the subject.
Is this kin to what Jesus said about adultery...MATT 5:28 "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart."
And also ... what were all the sins involved in that one disobedience? I think covetry of God's throne ... and maybe adultery too .... anything else?
