Jesus also shows where sin originates here....

Mark 7:21-23 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,[SUP]22 [/SUP]Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."

QUOTE]

In relation to your words from above in green....Jesus as talking about the need for a new heart because people need to be changed from the inside. Make the inside clean then the outside will manifest.

The believers have now a new heart in Christ created in righteousness and holiness:

First it was prophesied in the Old Testament.

Ezekiel 36:26 (NASB)
[SUP]26 [/SUP] "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone ( old man ) from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. ( new man in Christ )

Romans 2:29 (NASB)
[SUP]29[/SUP] But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

By grace we have been given a new heart that is obedient.

Romans 6:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you
became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed,

God cleaned house and moved in. God will not dwell in unrighteousness. God through the Holy Spirit is in our inner man now.

Ephesians 3:16-17 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power
through His Spirit in the inner man,

[SUP]17 [/SUP] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith
; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

God sealed us and gave us the Holy Spirit in our new hearts.

2 Corinthians 1:22 (NASB)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] who also sealed us and gave us
the Spirit in our hearts as
a pledge.

We have the Spirit of God's Son in our hearts now.

Galatians 4:6 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Because you are sons, God has sent forth
the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

God has cleansed our hearts by faith.

Acts 15:8-9 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] "And God, who knows the heart, testified to them
giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us;

[SUP]9 [/SUP] and He made no distinction between us and them,
cleansing their hearts by faith
.

We love from our hearts now as it is pure.

1 Timothy 1:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] But the goal of our instruction i
s love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

2 Timothy 2:22 (NASB)
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who
call on the Lord from a pure heart. ( this is a true grace believer in Christ..hang around them )

1 Peter 3:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

There are more but this should work to show that the believer
has a new heart in Christ.

We still have the flesh to deal with in our bodies and we are admonished to not to yield to that...but all that is a different subject.

Hebrews 7:16
[SUP]16 [/SUP]who has become a priest, not on the basis of a [SUP][a][/SUP]physical and legal requirement in the Law [concerning his ancestry as a descendant of Levi], but on the basis of the power of an indestructible and endless life.

It's a beautiful and powerful truth here. We can never do enough or be enough. The requirements of God are way to high for us. And yet He sent Jesus. The One who lives after the power of an endless life. And so our salvation is sure and will not fade. God thought this to be so important for us to know that Jesus will carry those scars forever as a testimony to His love and sacrifice for us all.

For anyone to believe it is up to their own works and good intentions to save them, realize it is a slap in the face of Jesus to do so. We want to honor the Son in our lives., not honer ourselves too. Jesus gets all the honor and glory. Because He lives., we live.

Unless of course they have an evil spirit. LOL The more they talk, the more they expose their false doctrine.
Imagine that someone has an evil spirit, and thinks that anything spiritual is good. And that person thinks that doctrine is bondage and evil, and any spiritual experience is good. What hope is there?

I don't understand the distinction.

Is there a distinction?

in the beginning was the word. and the word was God..

How much more clearer can it get?

Are you perfect?

If not, according to the law you are condemned.

So, in order for you to establish the law. You have to repent, and admit, you need help.
how does one repent their sins when there is no law to commit sins against?

Wow your beliefs are so gnostic.

Irenaeus, Against Heresies
... to [the gnostic heretics] who are called "the spiritual and perfect" [by themselves] such a course of [good] conduct is not at all necessary. For it is not conduct of any kind which leads into the Pleroma [heaven], but [it is] the seed sent forth thence [from heaven] in a feeble, immature state, and here [on earth] brought to perfection.
Again with this stuff? Can this stuff be reported. where are the mods. Is this tolerable in here I would like to know.

Since when is Irenaeus a man who wrote inspired writings that we can judge other people on?

What if being one with Christ actually means something? What if the Holy Spirit is actually in our hearts like the scriptures say?

1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

What if a person was born-again and was created in Christ in righteousness and holiness as Paul talks about in Ephesians?.

What if God wasn't lying to us when He said He would give us a heart and put a new spirit within us. What if the work of Christ in us was all that Paul and the other apostles said it was?

What if Christ's salvation is as wonderful and glorious and profound as the apostles talked about? What if the grace of God and His riches in Christ was unfathomable as Paul said?

Ephesians 3:8 (NASB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

What if..the gospel of the grace of Christ was actually true?....Some great things to ponder on
.

There is believing in ones heart and confession, I would suppose the lips move after the heart believed and then you have faith (in ones heart) in action (lips flapping)

Amen! In James 2:21, notice closely that James does not say that Abraham's work of offering up Isaac in Genesis 22 resulted in God's accounting Abraham's faith as righteous. The accounting of Abraham's faith as righteousness was made in Genesis 15:6, many years before his work of offering up Isaac recorded in Genesis 22.

The work of Abraham did not have some kind of intrinsic merit to save his soul, but it proved or manifested the genuineness of his faith. This is the sense in which Abraham was "justified by works" - shown to be righteous. James is discussing the proof of faith (says-claims to have faith but has no works/I will show you my faith by my works - James 2:14-18), not the initial act of being accounted as righteous with God (Romans 4:2-3).
Amen, he is arguing against a claimed faith, He never stated they had any faith at all, in fact, he said their faith was non existent (dead) and he asked the question we all should ask, Can that faith save him? What faith? There was no faith present, IT WAS DEAD!

I believe in every word of God, just not your twist on what is being said. You guys confess you sin, some have even confessed on here they have willfully sinned, but yet can still be saved. But now you say you cannot sin, even though you have confessed already you do sin often. So which is it?

So basically what your saying is when you do sin, it is not your "inner man" that sins, which you believe can never sin, even when your "outer man" does sin all the time. What a load of gnostic garbage you guys have been brain washed into believing and are even pushing as the truth, which is far from it. When you sin, it is not Christ who is sinning, but you!

If you are living in sin, then you are not truly "in Christ" to begin with.

Escape from reality is a proper name for that site you guys learn from. LOL!
So again are you perfect.

If not. Your no better than he is, For you admit you sin also.

So what seperates you two? Is it faith in God. Or faith in self (who is doing the work to change you?)

I dont get how the messsenger of a verse would make the verse void whether they sin or not, that seems strange to me to do, Gods word hanging on the life of the messenger (either way)

Nope

Acts 15:5-10 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP]But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

The law of circumsion was the yoke and yes that was nailed to the cross

circumcision was part of the law. If you going to keep one, your indebted to keep them all

don't try to separate it. There was no law of circumcision, Circumcision was a sign of the covenant. Not the law itself.

Wrong again. Your doctrine suggests all sin is done on the outside, thus your "inner man" is still sinless even though you still sin with your body. .
Wrong the inner man is the flesh. it can only do things which satisfy self. It must be crucified by Christ for there to be any good done

Please at least attempt to listen to what people say.

What they don't understand is that sin originates from the spirit of the inner man, heart and mind. Thus if they confess they sin often outwardly, then we know their "inner man" is not of the same Spirit as Christ. Once again, they have proven themselves and their doctrine reprobate.
once again you prove you do not even know what "they" believe.

How can you and HRFTD think you have won a battle over them when you do not even understand what they are saying..

how does one repent their sins when there is no law to commit sins against?

what does that have to do with anything

The law is to lead you to Christ, Not show you what sin is, it was bever given for that purpose. in fact, it is incapable of showing us what all sin is.. Just a few sins,, and even then, it is not complete. Jesus tried to show this in his sermon on the mount.

My point is, when the law was given, the people had to make an oath to confirm and obey every word written, Whoever broke even one commanded, was put under a curse.

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.

So unless you are perfect. the law can only condemn you Your only option then become grace through Christ.

Sometimes when scripture can't be refuted....people resort to personal attacks and are the way to skirt the issues being discussed.

It's the way it is...it doesn't bother me in the least..I find it very revealing...and encouraging too! I praise God for it!..

Every time we get to preach Christ and what He has done for us in His awesome grace, and the unfathomable riches that are found in Him..I'm a happy camper!

We just have to watch for this....
