Please present proof that this occurs in Europe and USA where they have the highest conversion rates.
Don't be silly...........you know I was speaking tongue in cheek for the most part...........however, you would have to be completely out of touch with reality that they routinely imprison or kill any who do not convert to Islam IN THE COUNTRIES/TERRITORIES THEY CONTROL.

NOTE: Your comment I quoted DID NOT limit the idea to the USA. Just saying......

Ok. Did not get that from your words.

Just the same, conversions are volitional and there is talk that Islam will be the majority religion in the next few decades. As for the countries you mention it is only the crazed radicals who compel others to convert via violence. Still they do not even begin to approach the violence committed by Hindus which are tolerated by the West.

Only the crazed radical Muslims, eh? I think you'll find that it's actually the vast majority of Muslims in the non-Western countries. Also, the violence committed by Hindus (while terrible) is negligible compared to that committed by Muslims in the present day. Let's go back even 500 years and find that India was invaded by the Muslims, who killed upwards of 120 million Indians! Hinduism is an evil, evil religion, but Islam has them beat in the mass violence stakes.

The numbers are disputed by historians. But none question that Queen Victoria killed millions of Indians as well. She was a Christian.

No, actually the numbers are rarely disputed. This kind of information just isn't released to the public at large. After all, Islam is a religion of peace (sorry, I can't even type that with a straight face). There's no doubt that under Queen Victoria's orders millions of Indians were killed. The difference is that the Muslims' actions were consistent with their religion and Queen Victoria's actions were inconsistent with her religion.

That's just nonsense. The 20th century saw more murder than the rest of history combined eg. Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Chairman Mao etc. And all of these were dictators of atheist countries/states.

Hitler was raised a Catholic. Stalin was raised in the Orthodox church. Pol Pot was a paranoid mysticist and Mao was Confucian. Atheism didn't make these people commit their crimes. How can it anyway? Atheism is not a moral philosophy. It demands nothing of anyone. It doesn't ask you to murder a hundred thousand Amalekites.

Do you know what the definition of religion is though? A relgion is, in the Oxford English, a system of continued ritual or reverence toward a supreme leader, deity or being, such systems usually demanding obedience, lip service, adoration and/or worship, especially as a means of achieving spiritual or material improvement.

What was Stalinism if not a forced system of reverence for a supreme leader where citizens were forced to pay lip service, to obey, and to show adorarion for Stalin, as a means of achieving material improvement (as contrast to capitalism)?

What was Nazi Germany if not the same, except the suprem leader in the equation was Hitler? Not to mention he fact Hitler had a highly delusional, genocidal superiority complex where Germans were concerned: he believed that those Deutschlandtrend descended from the Norse were Übermenschen. Superhumans.

Atheism contributed nothing to these genocides: Stalin's genocide was abot maintaining control, Hitler's genocide was about his belief that the Jews were subhuman and that Germany should rule the world. But Christianity? And Islam? These religions directly contributed to the Crusades (mandated by God, according to the Catholic church), to the Inquisitions (which were about torturing and murdering heretics) to the genocide of Native Americans (God's new chosen land), to the genocides of many African and Middle Eastern dictators. (Allah's will). I can think of no time in history where someone killed someone else for atheism. This is even reflected in prison populations. Most prisoners are religious. Atheists are highly unlikely to commit crimes.

It's a stone cold fact that the enforcement of some ideal is the single biggest cause of genocide in history. It's all about people forcing their beliefs or their crazy delusional ideas on other people. It's what Hitler did, it's what Stalin did, it's what the Popes have done, it's what the British and Columbus the Murdering Pirate did to the Native Americans. The list goes on. These people weren't murdered for atheism. Almost all of them were murdered for non-compliance with a despotic, tyrannical idea.

Doesn't mean it was Christians doing the killing though, does it?

Throughout History, man has used God's name to justify their vile deeds. Does not mean it was God's will does it?

Throughout History, some have used the names of their gods to do the same.......

As I said,I cant speak for Europe but here in the USA they haven't clue one about what being a real Muslim is about. Muslims women here have freedoms they would never have in their own countries. Those converting from the US have a soft core version of the "religion". Not the slightest clue. They wouldn't be "converting" if they did. But according to Pew Research says that Christianity is the biggest religion and they expect it to continue to be so for the next four decades.

Hitler made great use of the "replacement theology" that the Jews are "Christ killers". The Catholic church taught it and most Protestant churches. Therefore he could kill the Jews and look like a Christian doing it. But thats another story...

"Those converting from the US have a soft core version of the relgion". I agree with that to a degree. Religious tests are open to interpretatio, all of them. I also think the same can be said of Christianity. See the stonings and lynchigs carried out by Christians in Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa. See the Catholic church's many historical abuses. See the Salem witch trials. As for Islam, see Eastern extemism. Suicide bombing.

Interpretation.

Quote "Hitler was raised a Catholic. Stalin was raised in the Orthodox church."

You can sit in a garage all day and call yourself a Maserati, doesn't make it true. Being "raised" anything means nothing. If you go against what the Word says your wrong. Hitler knew enough about the Catholics to manipulate. We dont agree with Catholic beliefs here. Their doctrine is false.

Quote " It doesn't ask you to murder a hundred thousand Amalekites.

The Amalekites picked off weak and older people, the defenseless. They ambused the Israelites. They were known for plundering and murdering.

Deut. "Remember what Amalek did to you along the way when you came out from Egypt, 18how he met you along the way and attacked among you all the stragglers at your rear when you were faint and weary;and he did not fear God.

Quote "But Christianity? And Islam? These religions directly contributed to the Crusades (mandated by God, according to the Catholic church), to the Inquisitions (which were about torturing and murdering heretics) "

Catholics were the reason behind the Crusades, not Christians. It wasn't mandated by God it was mandated by the pope, who Catholics believe is Christs rep. on earth. Christians dont believe that. The Inquisition was also the Catholic church. As far as Islam, its always been spread by the sword, they have murdered millions.

Quote "
I can think of no time in history where someone killed someone else for atheism."

Well Id have to see stats to back that up,rather than just your opinion. I think you may be slightly biased.

Quote "
Most prisoners are religious. Atheists are highly unlikely to commit crimes."

Unbiased stats? That is highly unlikely. Prisoners suddenly seem to become religious AFTER they have been put in prison.

Quote "These people weren't murdered for atheism. Almost all of them were murdered for non-compliance with a despotic, tyrannical idea."

Possibly, but Im not sure the facts bare that out,or the stats.

Also known as "supersessionism". And yes, it is a "Christian" ideology not subscribed to by many if not most Christians.

Its not a Christian ideology,it is anti-semetic and false doctrine. And it is not subscribed to by most Christians. After the Holocaust both the Catholic and Protestant churches recanted this teaching and apologized to the Jews. Yes, some still teach this false doctrine but it is indeed false and against Gods Word.

For someone who claims to be Christian, you don't seem to have a problem presenting only one half of the story.

You will note that I use quotation marks in the word Christian. And yes it is used to "justify" attacks upon Jews. While the churches did recant after the war they should have done so before the atrocities took place.

Alan Watts referenced these among other examples and he was historically accurate. What other "half" would you like to see discussed?
