donald trump's new 'evangelical religious advisory board' met to kiss his ring today...

but a picture is worth a thousand words...

jerry-falwell-trump-playboy.jpg

that's jerry falwell, jr and becki falwell posing with donald trump in front of his personal shrine to himself and his fame...with a playboy magazine cover seen over becki falwell's left shoulder...

the picture says it all...trump's outreaches to 'evangelicals' are not about 'religious advisory'...they are about seducing 'evangelicals' to look the other way and let this godless sham go on...and in the process utterly compromising their witness and making a mockery of the christianity they profess...

everyone...this is what apostasy looks like...

Falwell's early endorsement of Trump and handling of Liberty University board members afterward was shameful and unbecoming of a President of the world's largest Christian school.

It has to be noted that most of the voting students broke for Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz on primary day. Most polled Liberty alumni did not have a favorable view of Donald Trump.

I do not expect Trump to be a Christian.

If that was the #1 requirement, then Jimmy Carter would probably be the only one to ever qualify.

And we KNOW how that turned out.

I expect my president to have my country's best interest at heart, and to revere/respect the Constitution.

Liberty College? Oh please.
Liberty University’s current provost, Ron Godwin, was appointed by Rev. Sun Myung Moon to take his teachings and use them to revive and resurrect American Christianity. Moon knew Godwin intimately, and repeatedly praised him publicly for his usefulness in taking the Moonie message to the American Christian church.

i don't expect political candidates to be christians either...

i -do- however expect professing 'christians' who are in positions of church leadership to know better than to be complicit in the whitewashing of someone so starkly amoral and deceptive...

Frightening when you realize that this is a reflection of the "church". Resorting to the worlds methods and departing from preaching the truth of Gods word.

You say that you don't expect them to be christians but then you argue against Trump from a religious perspective. Trump is coming at our problems against globalism and for the American people...for the middle class. The world is stealing from us, stealing our jobs and our wealth. The politicians are getting rich by making us poor. Trump wants to bring the middle class up, the politicians want to keep obeying their globalist masters to the detriment of working Americans. The choice is simple and I hope you pull your head out.

excerpts from an article by michael farris...chairman of the home school legal defense association...

I attended the very first meeting of the Moral Majority held in Indianapolis in February of 1980. I was the Washington state director of the MM and have been a leader of the "Christian right" ever since.

[...]

This meeting marks the end of the Christian Right.

The premise of the meeting in 1980 was that only candidates that reflected a biblical worldview and good character would gain our support.

Today, a candidate whose worldview is greed and whose god is his appetites (Philippians 3) is being tacitly endorsed by this throng.

[...]

In 1980 I believed that Christians could dramatically influence politics. Today, we see politics fully influencing a thousand Christian leaders.

I say good riddance. The Christian wing of the conservative movement has been in need of a dramatic overhaul for decades. As has the entire conservative movement for that matter.

Francis Schaeffer was right on so many levels. If only he had more interaction with Russell Kirk before they both climbed to the heavenly realms.

It worked. You won me over, using scripture. I tend to get caught up in wanting to win and not paying attention to God's word. Thanks for using the correct method to make your point.

Except she has no proof that Trump is any of those things. Doesn't the bible also say not to bare false witness?

What, no idol cross hanging from their necks or one on the wall along with the playboy?

Exodus 20:4
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

The context is the local Church. Is Trump a member of your Church? :)
