It blows my mind that people sell God short on His glory.
And how people disregard God's warnings is mind blowing as well. Our Lord punishes the wicked no matter how many people try to deny it.

God wil redeem His creations. He created nothing for the purpose of death.

The Bible says He keeps track of every sparrow that falls

Why? I think because He will redeem them, too.

Is anything to hard for God?????

He loves life not death.
Well said...I have not read the whole thread but the very last words in Jonah were to do with animals being in the city which is one of the reasons God said to spare Nineveh.

Jonah 4:11 (NASB)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] "Should I not have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know the difference between their right and left hand,
as well as many animals?"

Will animals live after death?

What are your opinions and/or biblical verses you want to share about this topic?

Animals do not have an eternal spirit - thus, they do not continue on after physical death.

God says He is trying to gather all things into Christ. All things means all things. It doesn't mean everything except animals. I don't mean to sound rude, but what I am referring to is scriptural and what you are referring to is a long held man made opinion that is in error.

The reader is informed that it is the spirit (ruah) in man that provides understanding of God…

But it is a spirit in man giving them understanding, even the breath of the Almighty.(Job 32.8)

Contrasted to this, are animals which have no understanding of God (i.e. no spirit)…

Be not like the horse, like the mule, with no understanding; with bit and bridle his gear to be held in, that they do not come near you.(Psalm 32.9)

Psalm 49 brings these two concepts together...

It states that both animals and humanity perish (Psalm 49.10, 12, 14, 20) - but ONLY humanity, with understanding of God, can be redeemed (Psalm 49.15).

Since animals have no understanding of God, then they cannot possibly have redemption, and they are forever in the grave as their final resting place.

Simple Biblical Truth...

Actually the snake was satan in animal form, so God actually punished satan and not the snake itself. :)
But God made the snake to crawl on it's belly for what it'd done. Evidently it had legs or wings before that.

Christ says wisdom is justified by her children. I stand by what I wrote because it is the truth.

Whatever makes you happy...
What if I told you that just by the things you have been writing I can tell you still have sin in your heart? Would you want to deny it and try to win an argue meant with me or would you say " what if he is right and repent?" We probably will soon see. As someone who professes Christ I am only trying to help and if people never learn to accept rebuke, how can they expect to ever learn? No one ever made a 100 on every assignment in school.

We are all major league sinners.

Then again...what does that have to do with animals not going to Heaven?

You need to be more concerned with being in the presence of your Creator, than that of your pet...

I don't know why people always try to argue with me on here for speaking the truth. Look the truth is I was trying to say that God is trying to gather all things into Christ and that just because Christ took the form of Abraham's seed doesn't mean that only humans are the only ones allowed to have eternal life because of it. I'm pretty sure I can try to explain this and still be in the presence of my Creator.

Scripture also states that we won't remember this earthly life when we are in Heaven...so, really....why are you wasting your time hoping that your pets are going to be waiting with open paws for you...?

Silly....

May the Lord rebuke you. That's all I'm going to say.

All that matters when you die, is being with The Triune Creator God of the Universe.

Period.

You dishonor God when you bring other mortal creatures into the picture as competition.

Our God is a jealous God.
