True is true.

(and now I want to see the person who does not agree)

I do not know if you can see me or not. I am the guy way in the back waving his hands.

What is true for one is not always true for another. Truth (as in the Word of God) is truth. True is not always true. Perspective comes into play. Even some scientific/mathematical trues are being questioned all the time.

Just did not want you to feel like you were being ignored.

Having a heart of unforgiveness causes God to release tormentors on us.

Oh dear no no no. Jesus took all our sins and their punishments, curses, guilt and paid for each and every one of them when He died on the cross. He even said "it is finished" No more sacrifices for sins no more payments can be made nor should anyone TRY to pay for their own sin by getting punished.

Don't you see how that diminishes what Christ Jesus did on the cross? God accepted Jesus sacrifice 100% in 100% payment for each and every sin. When we accepted Jesus as our Savior He enacted a transaction that paid our sin debt IN FULL.

The only torments we will have are the natural ones that come from a unforgiving heart. Bitterness taking root., distorting truth and a clear vision of God's grace. God did not make us to be able to carry bitterness and it will eat the human heart up in many ways. Natural consequences come from doing wrong. For instance, if you lie, it goes against the truth and distorts the lives of self and others. No one will trust you or hire you or want to be around you. Even the unsaved steer clear of liars. No one wants to be around a liar.

People who lie or can't forgive are self focused and self motivated. They are not good to be around. They will let you fall if it means they save their own skins. No one wants to be around a self focused self absorbed person.

Many other examples about doing wrong bringing the natural consequences along with them. But we cannot blame God for bringing any punishments down on us since His Son took them all for us already.

this one thing.
I don't know what "this one thing" is yet.

Is there any one fact that we all agree on?
I think we can find common ground and build on it.
There are many different denominations because there are many different beliefs and views of truth and lots of reasons for their different views.

Subjective true is not true, but opinion. So when something is true, it must not be subjective :)

Yes, the differing beliefs can be solely based on the ways each of us interpret the Bible itself leave alone anything else. This is why we should each read God's word in it's entirety. Bible study with others can also be beneficial because it throws up things that could have bypassed us and opens new insights.

It is also why Sunday School and even Sunday Morning Sermons are important. We learn when we hear the Word of God, or when we read the Word of God.

I hope you'll forgive me for saying this, but I say what I believe to be the most obvious things, yet someone always seems to disagree.
I disagree. I believe you just think they are disagreeing with you, when in reality, they are of one accord with you. Maybe you were just disagreeable that day? Disagreements are nothing other than validations turned upside down.......uh, er, no, wait...........that's frowns and smiles I think.

Thank you, you're so kind. ;)

I know, but when you sees likes before, and after, and yours sits unliked, well, it makes me think I need a breath mint or something.:(

Thanks. As I recently stated, some of us have no life, and need validation from our computers. It's the 'I need to get out more, but there's no where to go and no one to go with' syndrome my life has become.

You have been VALIDATED!

The one thing, is, HE IS! JESUS IS! That's all there is to it.

Jesus said "“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."" Jesus is!

When He said it was finished He meant He fulfilled the old law and nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2:14).

His efforts are not a free-for-all. Only those who are IN Christ will be saved. And a person who was in Christ, but went back to sinning willfully, is no longer in Christ, and no longer has the benefits of Christ's sacrifice! This is what the bible says. "IF we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins!" Hebrews 10:26

There are many different denominations because there are many different beliefs and views of truth and lots of reasons for their different views.
Whether or not a thing is believed is no criteria for determining whether or not the thing is true.

Read that again.

In other words, just because people do believe something or don't believe something does not change the fact of it being true or not true.

If something is true, it is true in and of itself, it's not made true by, or dependent on, anyone believing it.

(I'll be honest, though, I sometimes wonder when a MAN says let God be true and EVERY MAN a liar, lol.)

I'm like, well, you're a man so what you just said is......wait.....say that again???!!!!! Lol. Lord thank you for the ability to laugh at myself.

And other people. ;) And thank you, Lord Jesus, for being True, and The Truth!

God is jealous over us,
He will destroy iniquity and idols
- likewise to love Him
is to hate lies and to hate wickedness.

Jesus was created by God in Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
