Is a practicing homosexual living a godly Christ like life? So how can you support salvation to the ungodly if the scriptures plainly say the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God, and servants of sin abide not in the house forever, and under grace sin shall not have dominion over you?

Your doctrine is false because it is contrary to the words of God and the doctrine of Jesus Christ in so many ways. :)
If you understood the righteousness that comes from being a new creation in Christ - that has been created in righteousness and holiness. - you would understand what the gospel is all about. Christ is our true righteousness!

Of course no works of the flesh is living a godly lifestyle - just like malice and slandering of others in the body of Christ is not living a godly lifestyle.

The one practicing homosexuality is in the same boat as the one with malice and slander and outbursts of anger, those that cause strife and division - all works of the flesh. The self-righteous that say they never sin in the flesh are in the very same boat as the practicing homosexual too.

not that you are going to hell because you are sinning. Or that because they were sinning - that they are not born of God.
Again you are trying to justify ongoing sin and rebellion. This is totally false doctrine!

Notice your own words above in red are a direct contradiction to the words of God--->>>>
1 John 5:18

[SUP]18 [/SUP]We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

How about an alcoholic? Thats listed right there along with your favorite sin of homosexuality. Can God save an alcoholic? Can a Christian fall prey to alcoholism and God still save them?

This belies ignorance...it is the SPIRIT THAT IS BORN AGAIN AND DOES NOT SIN.....bound in a dead body of sin that is not subject unto the LAW OF GOD neither indeed can be!

Have you ever sinned? If so you are not born of God according to your religion.

You do not understand what 1 John 5:18 is saying yet because you are trying to establish and maintain your own righteousness.

This is a much better translation of 1 John 5:18. Jesus is the Savior and He is the One who keeps us - we don't save or "keep ourselves". That is the basis of the works-based false gospel.

1 John 5:18 (NASB)
[SUP]18 [/SUP] We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Here is John again - in your religion you must never have sinned in the flesh or you are not born of God. You don't understand the new creation in Christ or the gospel of the grace of Christ yet.

1 John 3:9 (KJV)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

These 2 verses in 1 John clearly show that no one can sin that is born of God. Some translators have interpretated this by saying "does not habitually sin" because they didn't know what to do with it because they know everyone still sins in the flesh in some areas - well except for those that say they never sin in the flesh...:rolleyes:

Maybe this verse will help to shed some light on this. Sin is confined to the flesh and does not go into the spirit of the new man in Christ.

Romans 8:10 (NASB)
[SUP]10 [/SUP] If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

You defenders of iniquity bunch up together now, because it makes it easier to bind the tares when they get all bunched up together. :)

Heres some of that word of God that you must have missed....

"For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’ The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”" Matt. 11:18-19

No one is defending iniquity - we are defending the faith - fighting the good fight of faith in Christ and all that He has done. He is our Savior and our righteousness. We preach Him and in the preaching and teaching of Christ comes life and liberty to walk free of outward sinning - like homosexuality and the malice and slandering that others do against the body of Christ...selah

It is only the gospel of the grace of Christ that bring the power for salvation and the grace needed to live. - not our own works of righteousness.

We fix our hope completely on the grace that comes with the revelation of Christ and His work for us.

1 Peter 1:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Lord spoke about those who backslide. So if people do not ask for forgiveness for it they will be judged.

There is no "whippings" when you stand before God & receive Judgement. You will have to give an account for what you did. God does not let unrepented sins just slide by when judgement is being given. If you happen to die while you're in your sin I hope you don't expect to still enter his kingdom,

I see it more clearly now than ever, it is impossible to lose our salvation. There is nothing more secure, absolute nothing! Jesus tasted death for every man and God saw the travail of his soul and was satisfied; Sin's debt has been paid and Man cannot set it aside. Puny Man in his pride and wanting to do something that he might boast put salvation in his hands and makes it like him changeable.

Christians that are in Christ now - born-again and sealed by the Holy Spirit - are in the kingdom of God right now. We have already entered. We will never be "more in the kingdom" then we are right now because we are in Christ.

Colossians 3:1-3 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

[SUP]2 [/SUP] Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which isby faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Righteousness:

[h=1]G1343[/h]δικαιοσύνη
dikaiosunē
dik-ah-yos-oo'-nay
From G1342; equity (of character or act); specifically (Christian) justification: - righteousness.

[h=1]G1342[/h]δίκαιος
dikaios
dik'-ah-yos
From G1349; equitable (in character or act); by implication innocent, holy (absolutely or relatively): - just, meet, right (-eous).

Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Those who are justified, declared innocent- righteousness is imputed by faith.

The righteousness of the law:

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

rightousness:

[h=1]G1345[/h]δικαίωμα
dikaiōma
dik-ah'-yo-mah
From G1344; an equitable deed; by implication a statute or decision: - judgment, justification, ordinance, righteousness.

Walk in the Spirit. Are we flesh or are we spirit? If we have died with Christ, and resurrected in Him by His life, (the Spirit of Christ piercing our heart with the light of revelation of Jesus) then empowered with dunamis power of the baptism of Holy Spirit....we walk in the Spirit....no longer fulfilling the desires of flesh.

is this you?

Sin, the nature of sin has no power over us any longer.

But, it's a process. A process of renewing our mind to believing His Word.

I have a big argument with our English interpretation. If one can study, it would be most helpful to our growth.

Oh, and I see you caught my reference to Enoch though I didn't mention his name. Kudos! We have something greater. They walked together. We can walk as one.

This too reeks of ignorance...shakes head while thinking of numerous scriptures that contradicts the above blindness!
