IMO, it would be more appropriate to stab SATAN with a pitchfork.. lol

Dear Santa,
Could I have a pitchfork for Christmas? I promise not to stab you with it.)

(And, I had to check three times to make sure I wrote "Santa," not "Satan." lol)

Well, you're both kind of bald, so it's difficult to tell.. LOL JK

Actually, he has more hair than his pawpaw now. The pic was taken the last part of July.

This was the last picture we had taken together. Now I wish there had been more. Much more.

I've seen miri posted that pic before. She looks fragile but I think she is tougher than she looks. You look really tough. But they say looks are deceiving. You must have some fragile bones too. :)
Most people are afraid of big people. Good thing. I was 20 when my 10 year old brother and I had our last fight. It was even, so I knew never to fight him anymore. lol Big people aren't usually as strong as their size suggests.

But petite people? (Yes, Miri, I'm talking about you.) I know to fear them. They tend to be more fierce. Audacious. Bold. And knowing Miri, I know better than to take her on. She's got a four-pack. I've got fluff! lol

I'm going to spend a few days trying to figure out how jammies can go on in a better way.

I know!

Really? What was going on in our mind to think we can ever see enough of the other to last a lifetime?

We have a his and her desktop. (He has his. I have mine.) And on the desktop is the photo that we're enjoying at the moment. All last year, when he was gone, I had to go on his computer to pick songs or print out the grocery list. And all I saw was an Eagles schedule that became much more than it was supposed to be. (Half of it became "Games he missed.") We have never agreed on which photo strikes us as the best photo. Except now. Both of us have that photo of us in the park, because that's a moment we spent together recently, after giving up hiding who we had become.

Most of my old photos with him in them were by accident. I was trying to take a picture of the teddy bears in front of the Cape May lighthouse, but caught him on the other side of the picture. When I saw it, I kept it, but cropped the other half for the teddy bear blog. He looks so tired in that picture. I thought he was depressed because he was in his 50's and couldn't find a job. He thought he was dying of cancer, but didn't tell me that until he learned what was wrong.

This picture was taken 5-6 months before we learned he had Hepatitis C.

If I've learned anything, folks! Do not hide who you are by avoiding taking pictures. You have no idea how much they can mean to your loved ones later!

Fluff lol. I don't believe that for a minute. You are a strong lady, lugging stuff all over the place.
Kicking medical staff butts, a black belt in disguise.

Did you see the Americanism i used there. (In the U.K. it would be bottom. :D).

pinned back. :)
