The fleshly promises yes as in Abraham's seeds .But they have no thing to do with the spiritual "seed", Christ . Christ said dead flesh without the spirit essence of life profits for nada, It cannot enter heaven so it returns to the lifeless, spiritless dust is was taken from .

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

A clear distinction between the things of God and those of men must be made . If not the antichists moves in.

Christ said if he had a mind to he could raise up many lively stones to make up the spirutl house of God . Not the fleshly house of Abraham.

Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham "to our father" : for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

The born again Jew as inward has our father in heaven "to our father"

Christ informed us to call no man father on earth for one is in heaven .(not seen the eternal.)

I would ask is it to hard to think not.

its what happened with the Jew they usurped the authority of our father in heaven giving it to the flesh or Abraham

God knows who physical Isreal is. That's all that matters right?

You can not even PROVE who spiritual Isreal is. Many claim it, does not make them one. Many claim to have FAITH. but have no faith at all (saving faith)

If the church was BEFORE Israel was chosen, How could they replace her? For her election must still stand as spoken.

All I'm asking for is an explanation of who Israel 1 and Israel 2 are. Are you not able to give the answer? If not that's ok, just say you don't understand the verse and I'm fine with that.

So again:

1. To some Abraham's children was promised something.
2. Unbelieving Jews are not the children of Abraham.

3. Why do you believe unbelieving Jews should inherit something promised to Abraham and his children.

Please, notice again, I am not talking about anything specific. Everything is general. Try to respond accordingly. Do not respond about salvation or land. It does not matter. My question is general.

The church is the election NOT flesh Israel. Abraham was the church - the church is the election - is the children of the promise. All of the Old Testament saints ARE part of the CHURCH... they are the elect, not flesh Israel.

I've never seen anybody on this thread show a verse that shows any promises given to flesh Israel that didn't require them to KEEP EVERY SINGLE COMMANDMENT.

The promises to Abraham were to HIM and his seed CHRIST. Flesh Israel has nothing to do with these promises.

"No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

When they came to arrest Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane and after Peter cut off the earth of the high priest's servant, he said:

"Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

He indeed could have stopped it at any time. But thank God that he didn't, for we would all still be in our sins and without salvation.

By that logic I guess you think Judas was just fulfilling his God given duty in betraying Christ. God used him just like he used the Jews... any wicked Christ hating group could have done the job, but God used the Christ hating Jews. Does that mean the Jews didn't kill Christ.
