guess why He was put to death, what He was convicted of by the Sanhedrin.

In the New Testament God said where do wars come from,which He said they come from people and not Him.
Jesus while on earth displayed love,compassion,and never hurt anybody,and taught the saints to do the same,and the love that Jesus displayed while on earth is the same love that applies today.
In the Old Testament God had to protect Israel from her enemies,or they would have wiped her out,or perverted her from the truth,because Jesus was to come through the nation of Israel,and when Jesus gave spiritual salvation He no longer needs to fight in that manner for it does not matter the physical,for they cannot touch the spiritual.
God put down 1000 people to save 10,000 people,and God only went against nations who would go against Israel,and that were cruel pushing their power,and hurting people,which every time a kingdom got too cruel and against the ways of God,He would allow another kingdom to take them down.
It is not God who is cruel but people who are cruel,and God would fight and allow the fighting to put an end to their cruelty,and perversion of His truth.
The people that God went against to stop them when they expanded in power too much pushing forth with cruelty is far less than the people they would have been cruel to,and if God did not protect Israel she would of probably been wiped out.
If God had not interceded in the Old Testament to put down kingdoms that were cruel in their dealing with other people,and allow another kingdom to rule until they became the same way,and had not protected Israel,there would of been way more people that would suffer than the people God went against,and caused them to be put down by another nation or kingdom.
God puts down a 1000 to save 10,000,the odds are in God's favor for His interceding caused way less people to be hurt or killed,and protected Israel from being wiped out.
If you were walking in the park with your dad and a stranger ran up to you with a knife,and your dad put him down,would you say gee dad you are cruel.
God is not cruel,people are cruel,and the beast kingdom is coming in the future,which this kingdom will cover the whole world,and they will cut God out of the picture,and believe in no personal God,because God is giving the world 7 years to have their way and cause all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom,so God can put an end to this sin business.
God will not intercede for the 7 years for He is allowing the world to have their way,and you know what happens when people are in control with no input from God,and no intercession from God to keep mankind from being too cruel.
Chaos like a big dog for when they say Peace and safety then sudden destruction comes upon them and they shall not escape,but it is not coming from God.
The 6th trumpet happens during that time in which a third of the population of the world dies,and nuclear weapons are thrown,and along with the other chaos that happen.
All who oppose the beast kingdom shall be persecuted,and hunted,and pursued,and beaten,and whatever they do,and they will not rest,will not stop,until they get all those pesky opposers off mother earth.
Chaos like a big dog,and billions of people dead when God is out of the picture to keep at bay the beast nature of people,and their cruelty,and pushing for power,which God said at that time they will be so arrogant and self exalting.

I think its interesting that God tells us not to "murder" after sin came in to the world. Killing is one thing, murder is another if you ask me(I have killed meany bugs). Had he not flooded the earth, The earth would have ended long ago from sin and none of us today would have known Jesus died for our sins. God is working to undo sin so that we do not have to suffer anymore but because his love he wants as meany as will come, he bids come! He wishes that all be saved, Not only that by the time he is done there will be no doubt he is justified in all he did to save as meany that would choice him. But if we walk away from God and pick death over life then it is not him that kills us, it is our self's that lets go of life.
Fear of the Lord:It's a Sense of awe and respect for the power of God, especially in relation to oneself. It is considered the starting point for wisdom. A Christian does not fear God because of hell. Its the other way around, they fear him because they love him. After all a christian does not fear hell because they are saved. So the motivation is not of fear of God but because of his love and awesomeness! A simple study of the word fear in the bible will give a explanation for what fear really means.
God only protects His own. Satan is allowed to do as he will with the rest and God knows who will be His from the beginning of the individuals life. We are God's clay pots. If we are cracked, we are thrown away and yes that means some of us are worthless. It doesn't mean that He wanted to make us cracked, we just cracked under the pressure of other pots putting pressure on us because we were not strong enough to resist, due to a defect in our material(thinking). Peer stress is a dangerous thing. Not saying I am right, just thinking out loud.
