I know what Muslims thinking about Christians they don't value Christian's or Jewish’s life. I may not be a good Christian but I’ll never go back to practice the Muslim religion of “love”
I also cannot go back to Egypt because I fear of retaliation from my own family.

Hi Zohar,

It's great that you don't want to return to Islam. I'm so sorry that you have to separate from your family. How sad that is. :( But you do need to stay safe.

Can you tell me what you think a Christian is and how you become one? From the things you've posted, it doesn't really sound like you really understand Christianity.

Of course Hitler wasn't a good Christian but he baptizes as a Roman catholic.
His parents probably had him baptized. I see no evidence that he was a Christian. Even when a person calls themselves a Christian, that doesn't make them a Christian. Some people call themselves Christians because they know that if they do, they will be accepted by others.

I agree with number one and number two. As for Christians believing that they complete the Old Testament, I've never heard that said. We consider both the Old and New Testament sacred.

The Jews were the only nation in the world that had a god that you couldn’t see; the romans couldn’t kill the Jewish god just like they did to other nation that used a statue mad of rock.
Jesus was a living organism and the romans were happy to kill him to prove that the roman’s gods were stronger than the Jewish god.
Nothing happened to the romans as the results of killing the Jewish god and they stayed in control of the area for another 600 years.

The fact that God came to earth as a human being, Jesus Christ, doesn't make God human. He is still invisible. He was only had a human body for a short period of time, and even with a human body, he was still God.

And those who killed Jesus lost their salvation, so I wouldn't say nothing happened to them.

Why they lost their salvation?
Jesus had to be killed in order for everyone that believes in him will be saved; somebody had to do the killing.

Since they killed Him it means they didn't believe in Him.

I don't think most people understand what salvation is. When we sin, our life becomes a torment. When we repent of our sin, our life becomes a joy. Those that killed Jesus were not among those who had repented of their sin. Jesus was the one who could heal them, and they had just killed him.

#1 Christians believe in God in three persons.
~ God the Father.
~ God the Son.
~ And God the Holy Spirit.

#2 Jesus was the Son of God and He is God.
God is a composite unity. When the scriptures teach that God is one (echad), the word means a composite unity. The same word for God is one is used when the Israelites went into the land of
Canaan and brought back a cluster of grapes. The grape cluster was called one (echad) grape. In Genesis when God created man and woman He said the two will be one (echad) flesh. So yes we believe that God is One and yet within His oneness we see three distinct persons.

3. Christians read and taught out of the Old Testament before the New Testament was written. Jesus taught out of the Old Testament. In fact a large part of the New Testament is the Old Testament. I haven't heard a Christian say that we complete the Old Testament.

One of the things we do say is that the Old Testament looks towards the cross and the New Testament looks back at the cross with the thought that the Old Testament has Christ concealed and the New Testament has Christ revealed.

Another thing that we believe is that the Old Testament Covenant has been replace with the New Covenant. The New Covenant is where God promises to restore fellowship and forgive sin through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah.

Jesus said we must be born again. Mankind is born of the flesh and the spirit is dead. Through the new birth, we become spiritually born anew, born of the Spirit and Jesus gives us a new heart.

Peter was asked by the Jews in Acts what they must do because they were convicted of their sin. Here's what it says.

Acts 2:37-42
Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?”

Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.”

And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Hello Brother, and Welcome to Christian chat!

Keep in mind that though this is a Christian chat site, when posting or in the chat rooms, there are many different people who visit here. Some have sound theology. Some do not. Some people have read the Scriptures and studied, and others lean more to their own ideas about what they think Christianity is. It will be important for you to read the Scriptures and ask the Lord to give you revelation and understanding, as you read. This is His book, and He is the One who illumines truth to us.

I wasn't clear from your original post, if you had committed your life to Christ. I understood that you 'converted' to Christianity, but do not know what that means to you. Can you describe what it meant/means to you that you converted to Christianity?

Blessings to you!

I committed my life to the truth. When i saw how Christians are being treated I decided to become Christian. Some of the stories in the New Testament don’t make sense and I suspect that it was the Roman influence and persecution of Christians that created those stories.
I committed my life to Christ but I also being realistic about it.

(echad) means one in Hebrew (woachad) in Arabic; It means there is only one god.
The words of god and his laws are forever and his contract with the Jews is forever also.
“Mankind is born of the flesh and the spirit is dead.”
How did it happened that the spirit died?

So it sounds like you decided to become a Christian, but... have you put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior?

Also, you mentioned that many stories in the New Testament are confusing. Can you mention one that is confusing to you, and perhaps start a thread about that particular NT story? That way, others can comment, as well.

Lastly, you wrote
“Mankind is born of the flesh and the spirit is dead.” Where does this quote come from?

I was paraphrasing Desertrose and I also asked how it happened that the spirit died.

That is an interesting thought. On the one hand you are right, but what would have happened if mankind had repented and not killed Jesus?

One thing is for sure. Jesus always spoke the truth.
