I want to tell you a story, in order to make a point...

The story is imaginary, and set at some point in the future.

There is a white family - a man, his wife, his son, and his daughter - walking out-and-about town. All of the sudden, the little girl shouts with the sound of amazement:

"Daddy, Mommy, Look! It's a black man!"

The man says:

"Yes, honey - it is. Let me tell you about black people, bacause this is something you really ought to know."

The daughter says:

"Tell me Daddy! Tell me!"

He continues:

"Black people are a very special group of people. All of them are honest, hard-working, kind, gentle, generous, giving, loving, helpful, wonderful people. They are trustworthy to the highest degree; they would never do anything to hurt you. They would rather die first. You can be sure that you will be always be safe with them. That's right. Any time you happen to cross paths with a black person, you can know that you have a friend who will always look out for you, take care of you, and help you in any way they can."

The daughter says:

"Really?"

He continues:

"Yes, honey. We don't really understand why, but they are all that way. There seems to be some kind of 'code of honor' built into their culture. They follow it religiously. For over 50 years now, there has never been a case anywhere in the country of a black person killing someone, raping someone, stealing from someone -- these things just simply do not happen. They value more than anything else - helping out their fellow man. And, it does not matter if you are white, black, green, purple, young, old, rich, or poor. They are always ready to lend a helping hand. They are never lazy. They are never selfish. It is just amazing how they can do so much for society, because they care so much about people - all people - everywhere."

The daughter says:

"Wooooowwwww."

Now -- what is the point of this story?

It is this:

If black people - as a "race" of people - want white people - as a "race" of people - to RESPECT them - as a "race" of people - then they are going to have to "produce" - a "race" of people - like the ones illustrated in the story.

Why?

Because THAT is the kind of people that white people RESPECT.

And...

That is the ONLY kind of people that white people RESPECT.

If you think about it --- if you are human -- isn't it true that that is the only kind of people you [ really ] respect?

Why do we not all try to be the kind of person that is really the only kind of person that anyone respects?

Black people must educate black people to be the kind of people illustrated in the story.

Black people must require black people to be the kind of people illustrated in the story.

Now -- it should be obvious that no person - or "race" of people", for that matter - can be expected to be "absolutely perfect"; the exaggeration in the story was, in part, to make a point about what all people should be like.

And, by no means am I saying that all white people live daily according to all of the good characteristics mentioned in the story - far from it. I will not even claim that my daily life continually exhibits every single one of those characteristics.

And, of course -- there are indeed black people in the world who are honest, kind, etc.

I have met some of them.

And, I know that there are black parents out there who are trying to teach their kids to be honest, kind, etc. -- just like there are white parents out there who are trying to teach their kids to be honest, kind, etc.

However, for whatever reason - when it comes to the 'group' as a whole -- the reality seems to be vastly different.

Why is that?

Perhaps, for any and all groups ( white people included ), the following statement stands as a 'prime directive':

"You must get your own house in order first..."

So then, for every group:

Does your 'culture' need an "upgrade" of its 'code of honor'...???

:)
brilliant propaganda speech.

Thankfully I can't relate to this topic. Blessed to be a Canadian! My step mom is Filipina, a best friend of mine is Aboriginal and one of the coolest ladies I ever met has dark skin and is from Haiti.

If people cannot be truly honest with themselves, then it becomes [ virtually ] hopeless...

( They are too "self-absorbed" to be able to care enough about others. )

:)
True, and honest for the haves and the have nots.
Not just the have nots.

How about we worry about what is a"Correct perspective." Instead of a random white mans perspective is. The correct perspective to have is not one that is biased based on personal prejudices and stereotypes. The correct perspective would tell their daughter something like this.
Ill even turn it to a poem
Black people are evil. But white people are too. You cant judge a whole race though based on the actions of a few. Skin color does not matter. The heart is what counts.
Skin heads might not like it. But dang it. Jesus do.
Its some black people that hate white people. Its some white people that hate black people. But Jesus loves all people. If they are His good sheeple.

Sorry that was a corny poem. but it is true. I don't care what your parents taught you. Stop living a life judgning people from old racial stereotypes that existed ever since the slaves got freed. And start judging people based on other things rather than their skin color. Truth is white folk aint no better than black folk as a whole. Every group has their flaws no matter what their skin color is. And even if white people committed less crimes, which they don't. Remember, whites had a head start. Black folks in America just got freed from slavery about a hundred years ago. Then they had to deal with Jim Crow and some more stuff. Still recovering from that crap and the recovery would be a lot easier if white people would let go of fake stereotypes and false prejudices their mammy and pappy taught them when they were younger.

This is the internet... don't jump to conclusion.

1. We don't really know if Gary is a man... who knows?

2. We don't really know if he's white... or for that matter, if he's even an earth-man... who knows?

3. We don't really know if he's random... he's here a lot, but there could be a thousand people in his house using his computer... who knows who we're really talking to?

4. We don't even know if this is really his perspective... this could all just be the result of his artificial brain wired into google.

I'm not necessarily saying Gary is a borg-like multiplex of female aliens wired into the matrix...

I'm just saying we can't be certain.

Good stuff. Now go tell it to Al and Jessie, and Eric, and Barry, and the rest of the Democrats whose every third word is racially charged to perpetuate division.

I was referring to what dude quoted a few posts above. Didn't read the other stuff I came to this thread too late to read all that stuff.
You were talking about Dude?

Ohhhhh.

To be honest, he's much more likely to be an alien than Gary.

Human nature is human nature.

All ethnic groups, and nations, push for power, but when they do not have the power, they say about the ones who do,you are oppressive, and cruel, but if they had the power they would push it too.

Since the Roman Empire were the last ones to get the power they could retain it,because after the others fell, starting with Egypt to Greece, they could never rise again, but they were all pushing for power.

It does not make sense for people to not like a whole ethnic group,or the vast majority of them, because of what some did.

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.

Human nature is human nature, and all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,and God said what makes you to differ from another person, but on this earth people accuse, all the while excuse themselves, all the while their ethnic group acts the same, for human nature is human nature, and how can the ethnic groups point their finger at other ethnic groups, all the while there own ethnic group is doing terrible things.

All ethnic groups, and nations, push for power, but when they do not have the power, they say to the ones that do,they are oppressive and cruel, but if they had the power they would push it too.

How can a whole ethnic group be blamed for what a few do,but that is human nature to accuse, and excuse, which really seems they do not like the ethnic group no matter how they act, because this world is based on arrogance.

Common sense says all white people cannot be blamed for slavery,or any injustices, for God said the father shall not bear the sins of the son,and the son shall not bear the sins of the father, for each person will bear their own sins, and a lot had ancestors that had nothing to with it,and what about the whites that came to America after slavery, are they blamed too,and not all blacks can be blamed for what some of them do.

But that is human nature, you are mad at a few,you are mad at them all,a few do wrong, you hate them all.

Perhaps you would have done better to start at post #1 and read the whole thread...???

If you did that, you just might gain a better perspective... ;)

I'm not necessarily saying Gary is a borg-like multiplex of female aliens wired into the matrix...

I'm just saying we can't be certain.
Imagine the scenario within which he discovers that I was actually a black man who is thoroughly disgusted with and embarrassed over the general attitudes and disposition of "his race" as a whole - towards white folks, black folks, and - well - everybody else...

"Wouldn't that just completely blow his mind...?"

Should we compile a list of all of the black folks who have made public statements pleading with "their people" - saying - "we have to do better than this"...???

--- and, saying it with the exact same intent behind the story in post #24?

Would that be helpful?

:)

Totally off topic..... THIS is why I don't care for the KJV.... every time I read an archaic word like that, I'm thinking.... now, which shooo are they talking about... is it footwear...
shoe.png

or the old shoo fly....

shoofly.png

or, a really big shew....

ed sullivan.png

or, perhaps, Elizabeth...

elizabeth shue.png

There are simply too many shoooz out there.... having another one is just too much confusion....

That's why I left this thread you started. You aren't honest! You've blamed it (whatever "it" is) on everything from big cities to the Illuminati while acting as if it isn't you. Well, it isn't the big cities or the Illuminati, that's for sure! And whenever you point your fingers at "they," remember four other fingers are pointed back at you.

Hmmm, so I have recently tried a dating site again and my top match whom is my top match by a pretty healthy margin compared to the competition is how I shall say extremely racially minded, and she is also very racial on the topic of dating. This made me think of this topic. Now for me personally I really don't care about a woman's race when it comes to a potential partner, and I find many non-white women to be very physically attractive. My only reservations on dating someone from another race is my mother pretty much has made clear there are certain races where it is off limits for me to date and I would rather not displease her like Esau did to Rebekah.

So for single white people; what are your personal perspectives on mixed race dating/marriage? Or if you are all ready a married white person; what would your opinion be on your children dating or marrying someone of another race?
