What? The sky is not green....everyone knows that the sky is blue.

You are a false teacher, a heretic, a lover of sinning, a hater of God's word, demonic, delusional, a non-believer in the words of Jesus...etc....

Right on, B.

And on a side note, numerically today's date is 3/16.

May Jesus' teaching found in John 3:16 flow through everyone's heart so that may we give thanks to God and rejoice!

Sinful nature

The sinful nature is driven by loneliness and hurt.
The hurt is things that upset us from the day we are born and the knowledge that
we are alone and not understood.

This creates in us a desire to fight and get what we can while we can before
someone takes it away. We justify sins because of the pain we have within.

With Christ and the cross declaring we are both loved and forgiven, if we open
up and acknowledge the pain within, God can heal us and make us whole, can
come into our lives and emotions and make us a new creation, welling up with
living water from His spirit, where not only are our hurts healed we can bear
others pain and the hurts they inflict on us because of their own pain and
loneliness. This is our cross, carried daily into a world of lost sinners, desiring
to be loved and understood, yet hurting and taking as they go along.

With Christ and us in communion on the throne of our hearts, we are a new
creation, a new dynamic of love and appreciation.
Hmmm ... where to start (?) ... because believe it or not, I do understand what you're expressing here. But I also believe that our faith walk reaches beyond the realm of understanding what causes our hurt, pain and subsequent emotions. What you speak of addresses the "reasons" for our emotional hurt, pain and loneliness. But I think you minimize the sinful nature of our flesh in trying to come to terms with our "cure". Case in point ... If one were never hurt by others nor ever felt lonely nor misunderstood, would sin have been absent in their life ? We know that Christ was deeply wounded on every level during his earthly sojourn. Yet it remains that only He was without sin. I agree that we should open up and acknowledge our pain(s) to Him .. and that God will heal those hurts and make us whole in Him. But truth be told, many many times, people aren't even aware of what's causing their inward pain. And I would argue that our sinful nature is driven by more than just loneliness and hurt .. or to put it another way, scarred emotions inflicted upon us by "other" flawed human beings. A few things come to mind ... loving ourselves more than others, self-gratification (lust, greed etc.) ... and a myriad of other self-centered attributes that are common to all of us ... and that need no mentioning. God's Holy Spirit convicts and makes us aware of them, to be sure. But regardless of what caused us to react sinfully to many situations in our lives, the fact remains that it is we who have sinned .. and/or fallen short of His mark and calling in Christ Jesus. It may well be true that subconsciously, we do at times "justify" our sins on some level. But we must do more than just acknowledge our pain(s) within to Him. We must acknowledge our sin as well. I sense traces of an inner-child psychology approach in your post. And I'm not suggesting that this is bad thing, used in it's proper context. God has many means at His disposal for our betterment. I'm also "slightly curious" if you aren't also a Marianne Williamson read person .. i.e...(A Course In Miracles) ? Don't ask me why this came to mind. It just did. In any event, I would caution all of us to be very careful with putting Christ first and foremost ... and attributing all credit to God in Jesus Christ for all things. He is the way, the truth and the life.

Self righteousness ^^^^ personified in one single post.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
Eph 4:1

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.
1 Thess 2:10

By your definition Utah, Paul was being self-righteous.

An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.
Titus 1:6

An elder who fulfills the definition above again by your definition is self righteous.

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.
2 Peter 3:14

Peter calls us to make every effort to be spotless, blameless.

So you are speaking with denigration against the very commands and respect
scripture gives the children of God.

If you want to become an enemy of the Lords people, that is your choice, but
that is what you are doing and saying.

The humanistic self-righteousness/holiness mindset will always be at odds of the gospel of the grace of God that is in Christ.

Christ's work on the cross and resurrection which is all by grace through faith alone will always be a stumbling block to us that have this humanistic works-based self-righteousness mindset.

Thank you for your insight.
May I share a little about my thinking. All children get hurt inside without exception.
All children hide and protect themselves using different strategies.

The more disfunctional the family the more this hiding causes love and need to be
buried deeper.

There is so much evidence of this in studies and ones own life it can almost be a taken.

Gods message to mankind is communion with Him is how we have life and live eternally.
We can not live eternally separate from Him with the knowledge of good and evil because
it will corrupt us and destroy us.

The bridge to bring us back into communion is the cross and Christ. But this only works
if people open up their hearts, and emotions and who they are becomes real and not
repressed. This is walking in the light.

Now after understanding all this, is there anything else to original sin or why we sin and
do not love openly? Theologically it appears not except for people finding purity so
insoluble.

So my friend I know this is revolutionary observations which I have been cautious about
progressing. And the key to it all is Christ, and the cross, love up close and personal,
unmistakable. And the final irony. To walk with Christ is to bear the pain but not hidden
and protected, but openly and knowing it hurts but accepting it as a privilege of sharing
in Christs sufferings for others. To me that is a stunning insight, only recently gained.

My theory. 3 fights with 1. And 1 fights with 3.

Because those are the mainstream. And everybody is the camp of the mainstream.

#2 is basically unheard of (imagine that in the devils world?) and #3 can only hear #1 argument, because that is what they have been programmed to argue against.

The Christian belief of eternal security(#2) will pretty much always be looked at as "perseverance saints", because that is what #3 has been programmed to do.

If we just stop for a second and use our brains........#1 and #3 are the same thing.

one just says,"If you don't persevere, you lose the salvation you THOUGHT you had or were really never saved."

The other just says .....you will lose salvation.
Interesting, Never thought of this.. Something to ponder, thanks.

A small observation

If people know what opening up to Christ our hearts, our hurts, our defences, being
healed and knowing we are loved, deeply, then amen.

To the rest, nothing I share makes sense to you, because it is the fruit of this experience.
And unless Christ comes and dwells with you in this way, it will always be a mystery.

But why are you so defended, when Christ above any other being is to be trusted and seen
as the lover of you and all who listen to Him.

Until I met people who had so much spiritual authority yet had missed this, I realised what
religion without power creates so easily. And unless you enter by the gate in your heart,
there is no progress, ever.

Its not looking like today will be the day. The paraplegic is still thinking he can swim.
when you do not realize how sick you are. you feel like you can do anything..So until he realizes he is drowning,, There may be no hope for him.

I think that is what separates us, We KNOW how sick we are. They have yet to realize how sick they are.. They have either hidden the disease and forgot about it, Or ignored the symptoms for so long, they are blind to it..

I do appreciate your concern for me.
I wonder if you understand what I am talking about when I talk about
ones heart, being open, being healed, loving and no longer alone.

Now it would help me if you could understand this walk, because this
is my life and who I am.

If you could translate how a sinful people without becoming righteous
and pure turn into a righteous holy people walking into eternity with
Christ, without this actually happening in the here and now.

And if this transformation is in the future, how is it so many have no
progress at all, just continual boasting they sin daily, hourly.

Sounds to me like a total corruption of the gospels message. But then
if you have no other obvious choice, why if I have a choice would choose
this road of abject failure and denial of scripture?

At least he quit praying those look at me prayers.

No just the puff himself up praying to himself prayers. He has the experience, that is why he can understand himself and we can not.

He talks about love, but there seems to be only one person he continually shows that he loves.. And it is not who he thinks it is.
