Serious question alert.

What else is it true about?
Well pretty much anything. To try to go back and be topical, if you don't appreciate the churches, you probably don't love them. If the churches don't appreciate the powers God is said to give them, they probably do not love God.

I literally have an amp that goes to 11. It's actually designed off of the mods done to the early marshalls.

I had an old harmony tube amp from the 60's with 15 watt speakers.....I rebuilt it and put 30 watt Celestion speakers in it HAHAHHAHA

Next it will be Metallica, Anthrax and a lemon twist with DMX hahah
Sounds like you got a music festival planned out.

Though makes me think; wasn't it being discussed earlier on this topic that churches are ensnaring people with popular music?

The last note I played in front of an audience was in church, and it was my last due to that exact reason. But that doesn't mean I was right.

I think you earned the right to give that amp a name.

Well, did they at least demand an encore?

Yes. Yes it was. Of course the church I played guitar at for 12 years either a) did songs that were chosen carefully to make sure there was no inappropriate lyrical content or b) they were chosen to be "edgy" to make a point. Either way, isn't the gospel supposed to be the message and the "edge"?

As an aside, you will never catch me studying the great "worship" guitarists of our day to enhance my proficiency of the instrument. Lol

Funny story about my time as a worship guitarist. There was this very attractive gal that started singing on the team. One day she wore this dress that showed a lot of leg. I said to her backstage before we went out in front of 800 or so people.

"You look really great but isn't that dress a little too revealing?" She hated me from that day on but never showed that much leg again.

Yea, I get what you mean. I find it kind of funny the churches and such people that are very churchy are very uptight about words and music. Makes me wonder how they are able to read the Bible.

Well how can a socialist be a liberal? If a liberal is someone that is generous, and a socialist is someone that owns nothing, then how can the socialist be generous if he has nothing to give?

Well I suppose one has to ask if Venezuela is actually socialist. Has there ever been an actual socialist nation? Or is it more like there are countries that call themselves socialist so that a few people at the top can just take everything from everyone else?

Well I never said Jesus agrees with their sins, but it seems to me he tolerated the people enough to eat with them and to heal them and to forgive them of their sins. I guess today there's a lot of redefining of the meaning of words though.
The socialist is not the one who has nothing; the socialist imposes socialism upon the massed while not being under the grip of socialism himself. Obamacare is a perfect example. The socialist democrats who imposed the law are exempt from it. Go figure.

I have a Montgomery ward tube amp from the 60's that was my uncles. Grandma made sure that I was the one who got it.

Well isn't socialism a system where there is no private ownership? So then if the fatcats at the top still have private ownership, it's not really socialism, it's just a Ponzi scheme. That's why I don't think socialism is actually real. Obamacare is a pretty good example, it's not socialism, the corporations aren't giving up their private ownership or their private profits. It's just a Ponzi scheme with a nice sounding little label to make insurance corporations richer.
